Incidents are piling up in Marseille. After the attack on the Lyon players' bus, some of the 600 Les Gones supporters expected to travel to the Vélodrome stadium for OM-OL (8:45 p.m.) experienced a very eventful arrival this Sunday. At least three buses were violently stoned by Marseille supporters. Several minor injuries were reported. The three vehicles are out of service and cannot be used to return to Lyon.

Troubles at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium

In the 25th minute of the Naples-Milan match, the referee temporarily suspended the match due to a violent exchange of firecrackers and smoke bombs between Curva A and the area reserved for 2,500 Rossoneri supporters. Fortunately, after about a minute, the situation was back under control and the match quickly resumed, with the Milanese chanting: “I hate Naples”.

Celtic have banned season-ticket holders from the Green Brigade, one of the club’s supporters’ groups, from attending home matches.

An email to supporters in the standing section at Celtic Park has been published on social media showing that the club have suspended season tickets for those who have registered with the ticket office as being part of the “ultras” group.

The move comes after incidents including the group’s coordination of a display showing solidarity with the people of Palestine at the Champions League game against Atlético Madrid last week.

Wary of further Uefa disciplinary action, Celtic had asked fans not to bring any flags associated with the Middle East conflict. An email leaked on social media shows Celtic cited “repeated incidents of unacceptable conduct involving the ‘Green Brigade’ group”. The ban is pending further review and communication with the fans’ group.

Celtic have been fined by Uefa twice this season for displays linked to the Green Brigade: a pyrotechnic show at Feyenoord and an “anti-fascist” banner which, according to the European governing body, contained a “provocative message of an offensive nature” towards Lazio.

Other issues apparently cited by Celtic include “rushing turnstiles” at Motherwell’s Fir Park, “illegally gained access” before the Lazio match, “unauthorised banners” and behaviour towards stewards.

Thousands of supporters around Celtic Park had defied the club’s appeal by displaying Palestine flags last Wednesday. Celtic have been approached for comment.

The third round Cup match between Stahl Riesa (7th division) and third division team Erzgebirge Aue had to be interrupted in the 83rd minute when the score was 0:4. Indeed, several Aue fans climbed over the gates. The cause was around 15 Dynamo Dresden hooligans, who were outside the stadium, who came to provoke them.

Even before the match started, clashes took place between Boavista and Sporting supporters.

In the stadium, visiting supporters threw several firecrackers and smoke bombs onto the field. One of the firecrackers exploded very close to a photographer. Five Sporting supporters were identified by the PSP.

But the most violent incident occurred after the final whistle. A Sporting supporter was beaten up by other fans of the same club. The attackers, seeking conflict with Boavista's supporters, allegedly attacked him by mistake.

Violent clashes between ultras



This morning, around 10:30 a.m., incidents took place between Neapolitan and Veronese ultras near the Bentegodi stadium. Smoke bombs and firecrackers were thrown from both sides, which caused panic among people who were shopping in a nearby market. The police made 36 arrests on the Naples side. They were immediately banned from the stadium and sent back to their city.

Later, around 300 Neapolitan supporters were blocked by the police and subjected to identity checks.
