Russian Football Fan Jailed for Punching Riot Police Officer in Stadium Brawl - 01/10/2019
Source : themoscowtimes.com/
A Russian football fan has been sentenced to one year in prison for punching a riot police officer in a brawl involving ultras at St. Petersburg’s Gazprom Arena earlier this year.
Riot police charged a crowd of football fans outside the stadium during halftime of an Aug. 3 Russian Premier League match between FC Zenit St. Petersburg and FC Krasnodar. The conflict reportedly started when fans began to dismantle makeshift security fences placed around the entrance to their section of the stadium. Video footage of the incident shows several Zenit fans punching and kicking the officers, who attack them with batons.
A St. Petersburg court sentenced football fan Denis Pervachuk to one year in an open prison on Monday for using violence against a police officer in violation of Article 318 of Russia’s Criminal Code.
The court ruled that the suspect had “inflicted no less than one blow with his hand to the left side of [the officer’s] face.”
Pervachuk admitted his guilt in court. Three other football fans are currently awaiting trial on the same charges.
Meanwhile, several people who participated in anti-government protests in Moscow this summer have been charged with multi-year prison terms under the same article.
One of the protesters who was charged, Yevgeny Kovalenko, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison for reportedly throwing a trash can at a riot police officer.

Spurs and Bayern Munich football thugs trade blows in mass street brawl after Champions League clash
SHOCKING footage shows Spurs and Bayern Munich football hooligans battling each other in a mass street brawl after last night's Champions League clash in North London.
Up to 50 thugs, some armed with wooden posts, traded blows after Spurs crashed to a humiliating 7-2 defeat in the Group B qualifier at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
A squad of yobs charged at their rivals across a road and began raining punches down on them after Bayern hammered Mauricio Pochettino's team.
At one point a moped driver darts between the two groups as the pitched battle halts for a second and the two groups goad one other.
But up to 30 thugs kick off again, charging across the street after one man claps his hands, with more hooligans seen piling in.

Manchester City - Dinamo Zagreb - 01/10/2019

'Nazi salute' by Dinamo Zagreb fan being investigated as it emerges 150 seats were ripped out at Etihad
An investigation has been launched into an alleged 'Nazi salute' by a Dinamo Zagreb during their Champions League clash with Manchester City.
It comes as it emerged around 150 seats were ripped out by bad-tempered supporters of the Croatian club.
City faced Dinamo in their second game in the group stage of the competition last night, with the team from the Croatian capital, the country's most successful club, bringing around 1,500 fans.
A rolling roadblock was put in place as they were escorted on foot from the city centre to the ground down Great Ancoats Street.
The club's supporters were boisterous throughout and in a bizarre scene shortly before City scored their first goal a huge swathe of them took their tops off.
However their visit has been marred by allegations of misbehaviour by some of their supporters.
There have been reports of Zagreb fans scuffling with security, spitting, ripping out seats and throwing missiles by Blues fans sitting close to the away section during the game, which City won 2-0.
A City source confirmed today a number of seats, roughly 150, were damaged last night.
Last season around 800 seats were ripped out at Old Trafford by visiting Paris St Germain supporters.

Chaos outside Gladbacher 1: 1 in Istanbul Başakşehir! Police action meant Gladbach supporters were just 20 minutes ahead of the kick-off at the stadium. And of course, only 5,000 viewers came to the game !
What exactly happened? The police forced them into the buses instead. Two fans have been arrested for allegedly beating police.
Unbelievable : Later a video will be reviewed, showing that it's not true. Then they were released. Reason : There is a Christian cross here.
Gladbach manager Max Eberl : "I'm shocked. We're going to complain to Uefa. This is the police dictatorship. Our fans have been harassed from the beginning."
