Thirteen stadium bans for ultras

Police intervened in Pinzolo to separate the fans who confront.

Thirteen Torino fans were hit by Daspo following clashes on 28 July at the Pineta sports centre in Pinzolo, where Granata supporters had come into contact with their Modena rivals, necessitating police intervention.

The facts
Before the start of the friendly match between Juric's team and the Canarini, tensions between the two supporters were already running high. Among the incidents reported was the explosion of a large firecracker.

Contact between fans of the two teams, historically rivals, had led to police chases. Around fifty Modena supporters were involved and around twenty Toro supporters.

The decision
At the end of the investigation, the Questore of Trento, Maurizio Improta, sent the Turin police prefecture the Daspo prosecution notices, banning Granata supporters from matches and sporting events. During the clashes, the ultras were filmed and, in the course of the investigation, the most violent were identified.

Football fan gets on pitch and mocks rivals - who throw tennis balls at his head

A Swindon Town fan got pelted with tennis balls and other objects as he mocked furious Reading fans after getting onto the pitch at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

Reading find themselves currently in 22nd place in the table after having four points deducted, but even without the deduction, Ruben Selles’ side would still be in the relegation zone. Recent weeks and months have seen Reading fans stage protests against their owner Dai Yongge, including throwing tennis balls onto the pitch.

And seemingly those tennis balls are now a permanent fixture of Royals faithful’s matchday attire as furious fans launched tennis balls at a Swindon supporter who had run onto the pitch to mock the home supporters.

The Swindon fan ran over to the Reading supporters before hand gestures were exchanged, seeing the Robins fan continue to goad the home fans by holding his arms out and appearing to chant at them as tennis balls and other items were launched from the stands.

A new penalty has been imposed on Reggiana supporters for the clashes that took place on 5 August at the Fiorenzuola stadium following the match between coach Nesta's team and Pescara in the preliminary round of the Italian Cup.

The Piacenza Prefecture of Police, which has jurisdiction over the area, issued two Granata supporters with Daspo for a period of 8 years: a very heavy measure, given that the subjects turned out to be repeat offenders. Another supporter was given 5 years and another 3 years.

Tolentino-Jesina, a 25-year-old man attacks a policeman

The clashes that took place between the Tolentino and Jesina teams at the end of the match at Tolentino's 'Della Vittoria' stadium on Sunday 8 October continue to have repercussions. After the match in Montefano was banned by the Prefecture of Macerata for supporters living in the municipality of Tolentino, a Daspo was issued against a 25-year-old Jesina supporter.

THE FACTS - The match, which was won by the visiting team by a score of one goal to nil, was attended by around 200 supporters, including 30 local supporters and around 60 away supporters. After the triple whistle, the two supporters, coming out of their respective sectors, attempted a physical confrontation, which was however defused by the police present to ensure order. A Jesina supporter in the crowd struck a policeman in the face. The policeman sustained injuries that required medical treatment and a prognosis of several days.

After a few minutes, the two supporters calmed down and the situation returned to normal. The investigations carried out by the Digos of the Macerata police headquarters - in cooperation with the Jesi police station - quickly identified the supporter responsible for the attack on the policeman.

Barcellona, GIP validates Daspo against 15 Igea Virtus supporters: sentences range from 4 to 8 years.

On 15 Daspo, the Court of Messina validated the ban on access to sports venues ordered by the Messina Questore against as many Nuova Igea Virtus supporters for what happened at the end of the match against Acireale on the first day of the Serie D championship on 10 September.

The measure, issued on the basis of CCTV footage and video recordings by officers from the Barcelona police station, coordinated by director Antonio Rugolo, provides for a four-year penalty for 10 Giallorossi ultras, in addition to three Daspo for five years, one for seven years and one for eight years.

Giallorossi supporters will no longer be allowed to attend Nuova Igea Virtus home and away matches, with the obligation to sign in 25′ from the first and second halves at the Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto police station during Giallorossi matches.
