Legia Warsaw hooligans ‘beat up their own players in car park’ after losing to local rivals - 02/10/2017
Source : The Sun
Around 50 ultras reportedly waited by their team bus before their leader demanded the players stepped off
LEGIA WARSAW'S notorious ultras "beat up" their own players after a crushing 3-0 defeat at fierce rivals Lech Poznan.
Reports in Poland claim that 50 furious hooligans were waiting for the team in the club's parking lot following the loss.
Their leader named 'Staruch' invaded the team coach and demanded the players step outside.
Players then stepped off the bus expecting to face showdown talks with the fans.
But according to publication Przegladsport, the players and coaching team came under immediate attack with most of them taking hits to the back of the head.
The report claims players also took slaps to the face whilst the Aleksandar Vukovic, the manager's assistant and club legend, also took a punch.
The thugs then left them with the warning "If you play the same way next game, we'll come again."
It has left serious question marks over the player's safety and security around the stadium.
There were no signs of security as the players came under attack and the supporters shouldn't have been allowed on the club's ground.
Legia Warsaw's ultras have a history of violence.
In February this year they were involved in a sickening clash with Ajax fans in the Polish capital ahead of their Europa League match.
A group of around 50 fans of the visiting Dutch club were drinking in a bar, before they were allegedly attacked by their Polish counterparts wearing masks.
In August they unveiled a highly provocative banner ahead of their Champions League clash with Astana to mark the anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising.
The banner showed a crying child with a Nazi solider holding a gun to his head and the caption: "During the Warsaw Uprising Germans killed 160,000 people. Thousands of them were children."

Football hooligans in Croatia filmed trying to set rival fan on FIRE with flare after derby match
The violence was filmed in the streets of Croatian capital Zagreb following a match between FC Ponikva and FC Karlovac 1919.
After the match Ponikva fans are seen in a witness’s video pursuing Karlovac supports down the street. Some Ponikva hooligans are carrying hand-held flares. One catches a Karlovac fan and throws him to the floor. He then tries to set fire to the rival fan, shoving the lit flare in his face.
The victim kicks him away but then another Ponikva thug runs up and tries the same trick, attacking the man with his burning flare. The man escapes when the attackers seem to lose interest in him and run off to join other violence nearby.
The violence between fans was at odds with the players’ attitude at the end of the match, which seemed amicable. But there has long been a feud between Ponikva and Karlovac fans.
Last season Ponikva’s supporters were on the receiving end of violence from Karlovac and are thought to have been seeking revenge. Police were called after the violence was witnessed in Zagreb but all the people involved had fled by the time they arrived and there were no arrests.

Huge brawl between Spanish football hooligans during anti-Catalan independence rally in Barcelona
A group of rival football fans staged a huge brawl in Barcelona this afternoon - during a demonstration which was supposed to be all about unity. A large mob of people gathered in Barcelona to protest Catalonia's imminent independence declaration and unite beneath the flag of Spain. However the event soon descended into a brawl between rival 'ultras' - hard-line football fans who regularly fight with rival supporters. The fans are believed to belong to three rival groups: 'Yomus', who support Valencia, 'Frente Atlético', who support Atletico Madrid, and a group simply called 'Hooligans' who support Sabadell, a small club near Barcelona. The fighting, which took place in Plaza Catalunya, saw tables and chairs flying through the air and forced the popular Bar Zurich to close. Footage of the incident shows rioters carrying Spanish as well as Catalan flags hurling projectiles at one another, before police in riot gear arrive on the scene to defuse the situation and push the combatants apart. Spanish sports newspaper Marca claims no-one has yet been arrested, "although the Mossos d'Esquadra [Barcelona's local police force] have already identified some of those involved in the fight." The unity demonstration was convened two days after Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont announced he was seeking talks with Madrid with a view to securing full independence - sparking fury and despair in much of Spain. The Spanish government has said it views the independence push as illegal and will not even countenance the idea of Catalan secession.

Bosnia fans fire dozens of flares onto pitch
Bosnia and Herzegovina fans’ response to not qualifying for the World Cup was to fire dozens of flares onto the pitch during their final qualifying clash in Estonia.
Play was held up for several minutes after visiting Bosnia supporters hurled several flares on to the pitch in the 14th minute. The officials had to wait for the billowing smoke to clear before allowing the contest to continue.
Now, astonishing fan footage has started to circulate of the incident, which shows the stadium engulfed by smoke as the red beacons rain down.

France : Police ban PSG fans from travelling to Marseille for Le Classique in bid to stop repeat of crowd violence - 13/10/2017
Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/
Paris Saint-Germain supporters have been banned by police from travelling to Marseille when the clubs contest Le Classique later this month.
It will be the third season in a row that PSG fans are not allowed to watch their team play away inside the Stade Velodrome in France’s biggest club match.
The Bouches-du-Rhone chief of police, Olivier de Mazieres, met with club officials to confirm the decision on Thursday.
Marseille has a reputation for football-related violence. This fixture has seen street battles involving fans and police in recent years, while there were shameful scenes in the city during last summer’s European Championships, when Russian and English fans clashed.
After PSG won the Classique in March, violence outside the ground saw a number of arrests. Police responded with tear gas and water cannon after projectiles were launched at them.

More than 50 uniformed officers rushed to the scene after the fight broke out shortly after Bristol Rovers’ 1-0 defeat to Oxford
More than 50 uniformed officers rushed to the scene after the fight broke out shortly after the full-time whistle at the Memorial today. The bartender, who asked not to be named, told the Bristol Post : “Rovers lost 1-0 in the last few minutes of the match and the Oxford fans came back to the pub after and it all kicked off. “They were throwing people up against a wall. There was a woman punching a police horse and trying to grab the officer.” The altercation was quickly resolved by police, who were seen ushering a group of fans onto Horfield Common. Despite reports of multiple arrests being made, a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said only one individual was detained – though not the woman who attacked a horse.
