High tension after the game



The end of the match saw a good hundred come down to the edge of the pitch to boo the Blauw & Zwart. The Club players approached but without a dialogue being able to take place.

Although the situation did not degenerate, the Brussels police had to intervene to remove the 814 visiting supporters from the stadium and redirect them to their buses. Three supporters were even arrested by the police.

At the end of the match, two undercover police officers were attacked by ultras from Thun. While under observation near the Red Church, they were spotted and attacked by a group of ultras from FC Thun. In order to protect themselves and free themselves from hooded individuals who wanted to fight, the police used defense spray. Following which the attackers left the scene.

At 1st leg, in in Rochefort we waited in vain for our counterparts.

So by midday we were in town! At around 2pm we decided to head for the stadium when we got a phone call telling us that 20 or so guys in black, blue and white balaclavas, sticks in hand, were tagging the walls of the stadium street.
When we arrived, no-one was there, our counterparts were setting up their gear.
We jump at the chance to pay them a visit.
Our charge pushed the guys behind the equipment back a few metres.
It's a shame our counterparts needed brass knuckles to defend themselves against 10 guys.
The police arrive and we retreat....

Poland: Free fight prevented by police - 27/02/2024

The Polish police prevented a big arranged fight between the coalition GKS Katowice + Gornik Zabrze + Banik Ostrava + ROW Rybnik and the ones from Ruch Chorzow.
When police asked hooligans what they were doing in the forest they answered they were picking mushrooms there.
