A drunk 26-year-old Parisian fan was arrested in possession of smoke bombs. He had already been convicted for similar acts in March 2018.

During the game, a 16-year-old Montpellier fan and a Moroccan immigrant invaded the pitch. They are arrested by the police.

After the game between Lyon and RC Strasbourg on January 14, 200 hooded Lyon fans dressed in black tried to approach the local players and violently attacked the CRS, injuring 13 of them. After a thorough investigation, the police arrested 22 people today.

The investigation began last April

The climate in Portugal is anything but calm. The indigenous police, in fact, since April 2022 had been examining various images and videos to identify the most troublesome characters of the Lisbon team.

Without having children and stepchildren, arrests for everyone…

On the night of February 1, the forces of order gave life to a punitive operation by arresting as many as 28 ultras. The supporters are from Sporting Lisbon – belonging to the Juve Leo group – and Benfica – from the No Name Boys.

In house searches, various firearms, drugs, torches, smoke bombs and much other pyrotechnic material were found. The investigation ended with the detention of the boys, all suspected of assault, robberies and participation in various fights.

Spain : 64 people arrested for fight before Burgos-Zaragoza - 02/02/2023

Spanish police have arrested 64 ultras after they were fighting in the areas surrounding the Burgos stadium before the game between Burgos and Real Zaragoza on 27 November 2022.



On the Spanish Division 2's matchday 17, there were ugly scenes outside El Plantio. Before the game against Zaragoza, there was a large brawl.

As a result of said fight, the Spanish police have arrested 64 ultras for participating in the punch-up. It all happened on 27th November 2022.

As well as ultra groups from Burgos' Resaca Castella and Zaragoza's Ligallo Fondo Norte, Logrones' Viejo Fondo, Malaga's Frente Bokeron and Osasuna's Idarra Gorri were involved.

The police gave a report about what happened. There was a large brawl that, after some time, the authorities have been able to identify a lot of those involved.

Football hooligans hurl chairs and use stools as weapons as shoppers run for cover
Shoppers and pedestrians were forced to take cover and protect themselves after football hooligans started throwing chairs and using stools for weapons during a huge brawl

Chairs were thrown and stools were used as weapons in a violent city centre brawl after Newport County played Swindon Town.

Residents in Newport had been bracing themselves for a very lively day with the two League Two sides coming together and Wales hosting Ireland in the Six Nations. Before the afternoon of sporting action, Gwent Police released a statement advising fans to get to their respective grounds early while also asking punters to “drink responsibly”.

Unfortunately for the Welsh town, Swindon and Newport fans not only ignored the advice, they also became embroiled in a shocking fracas, which saw chairs and stools thrown and used as weapons in front of shocked onlookers.

The violent scenes began when a fight broke out between two groups after Newport overcame Town 2-1. CCTV obtained by WalesOnline captured the horrendous fight, which involved dozens of rival fans outside of a busy strip with bars and restaurants.

Bar chairs and stools were being thrown or used as battering rams as innocent onlookers tried to get away. Panicked workers could also be seen moving their outside furniture away from the brawling supporters.

At times, chairs were thrown as high as the canopy shelters. Towards the end of the footage, police could be seen entering the street in an attempt to disperse the two groups.

Wales Online reached out to Gwent Police but they are yet to respond. Before the match, the force released the following advice to fans going to the League Two contest and to the Six Nations. “Newport play against Swindon Town at Rodney Parade in Newport,” the statement began.

“If you have tickets, please head down to the ground as early as possible to avoid the rush. Our officers will be out and about, ready to welcome everyone to Newport and make sure everybody has a safe and enjoyable time.

“As fans across Gwent prepare to support their team, make sure your squad is ready by remembering if drinking, drink responsibility. Thank you for helping us keep Gwent Safe.”

Red Star Belgrade and Napoli ultras ambush Roma fans

There was an ugly incident after Roma’s 2-0 win over Empoli at the Stadio Olimpico, with reports local fans were ambushed by a mixture of Red Star Belgrade and Napoli ultras.

According to the latest reports, the attack was planned and carried out on members of the Fedayn group from Roma’s Curva Sud.

Circa 50 people all dressed head to toe in black and covering their faces pounced on the Roma fans in Piazza Mancini, armed with sticks and baseball bats.

There are believed to be a dozen people injured.

It is suggested they also stole a bag full of banners and flags that the Roma supporters had placed in the stands for the Empoli game.

There are claims this was the latest chapter in a story of ultras groups staging revenge attacks and joining forces, as many of them are ‘twinned’ across various clubs and even countries.

In this case, the Roma ultras are twinned with Dinamo Zagreb, while Red Star Belgrade are twinned with Napoli.

Local police claim as well as Serbians, some Napoli fans were also involved in the ambush.

It comes after Roma and Napoli supporters clashed on a motorway, prompting a two-month ban on away games for their fans.

While crowd trouble inside games is now relatively rare in Italy, it is because the ultras have moved their battlegrounds outside.

Furious Leeds United fans take out anger on City Ground car park after Nottingham Forest defeat

Angry Leeds United supporters have been filmed taking out their frustration on the City Ground car park on Sunday afternoon.

Their team lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest, leaving Leeds hovering above the relegation zone amid calls for manager Jesse Marsch to lose his job.

A video, uploaded to Twitter by Tyler Jelley, appears to show angry Leeds supporters kicking metal barriers outside the stadium - and being held back by stewards as they look to approach Forest supporters.

One supporter angrily kicks a barrier, while another is shown lifting one into the air, as if attempting to throw it, before being halted by stewards.
