Lancashire Police said the game between Burnley and Manchester City on 11 August saw a supporter run on the pitch, an item being thrown which hit a player and a steward being assaulted.

It said the men, aged 18, 20 and 30, had now been charged or summonsed.

Two buses of Standard de Liège supporters were pelted with stones as they left Charleroi after the Walloon derby on Sunday.

On Sunday 13 August, after the match between Sporting and Standard, two coaches of Liège supporters were stoned on the Basse-Sambre road as they left Charleroi. The perpetrators are not known.

While the match went off without a hitch for either side, two Standard de Liège supporters' coaches were attacked on their way back to Charleroi on the route de la Basse-Sambre....

"During the escort of the Standard coaches from Charleroi, two coaches were pelted with projectiles by unknown persons, starting from an embankment at the entrance to the route de la Basse-Sambre. No-one was injured and there was no major damage," confirms Laurent Van Doren, Chief Constable of the Charleroi police.

According to our information, two coaches stopped on the road after stones were thrown, but it is not known exactly where the projectiles were thrown from. The coaches left almost as quickly, although Standard fans got off to try and find the perpetrators, but to no avail...

Such an incident is always regrettable, as it taints a sporting event that in this case went off without a hitch. However, it echoes other past excesses. Exactly one year ago, the opposite situation occurred: several coaches of Carolos supporters were targeted and several young people were injured. This time, the perpetrators were seen, some wearing balaclavas, and one was even wearing a Standard shirt. Although this time the throwers were not seen and no one was injured, we can't help but think of a certain revenge for a similar episode on 15 August 2022.

Stade de la Mosson: one hundred fans hurl projectiles at police

The first Ligue 1 match between MHSC and Le Havre broke out in front of the Stade de la Mosson, where one hundred supporters hurled projectiles at police officers.

The first Ligue 1 football match between MHSC and Le Havre on Sunday afternoon broke out in front of the Mosson stadium in Montpellier, where one hundred supporters hurled projectiles at municipal police officers.

The incidents, which did not result in any injuries, broke out at the end of the 2-2 draw on the outskirts of the stadium, for reasons as yet undetermined. According to our information, confirmed on Monday by a police source, around a hundred young supporters threw various objects, including cans and bottles, at the municipal officials. Most of them were drunk, according to witnesses.

The latter were forced to withdraw and large reinforcements from the national police force, some of whose units were in the area to provide security for the match, were deployed to repel the aggressive supporters.

A procession of unmarked police vehicles with silk-screen printing, sirens blaring and flashing lights on, rushed into the courtyard of the central police station at around 6.30pm on Sunday, and did not go unnoticed.

Despite the travel ban decided by UEFA following the incidents in Maribor, Turkish fans traveled to Enschede. They mostly come from the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. A strong police presence was visible in the city center. Finally, the Turkish supporters, without tickets for the European game, were taken by bus out of the city.
