Liverpool team bus attacked with brick after Man City clash as police launch investigation
Liverpool's team bus was attacked after their defeat to Manchester City, with the Sky Blues confirming they would "fully support" the police investigation into the incident.
" Manchester City FC has been made aware that Liverpool FC’s coach sustained damage on its return journey following today’s game. We understand an object was thrown towards the coach in a residential area," the statement read.
"Incidents of this kind are totally unacceptable, and we strongly condemn the actions of the individual(s) responsible. We will fully support Greater Manchester Police’s investigation into this incident in any way we can.
"Additionally, the Club is disappointed to have heard inappropriate chants from home fans during the game today. We regret any offence these chants may have caused and will continue to work with supporter groups and officials from both clubs to eradicate hateful chanting from this fixture."

Feyenoord fans banned from Rome match - 01/04/2023
Source: https://www.wantedinrome.com/
Italian authorities have banned the sale of tickets to supporters of Dutch football club Feyenoord for the Europa League quarter-final clash against AS Roma in Rome on 20 April.
The widely-expected decision was made to avoid a potential repeat of the mayhem that occurred in 2015 when Feyenoord fans rioted in the historic centre of Rome before a Europa League match against AS Roma.
The move comes two weeks after Rome mayor Roberto Gualtieri called on the interior minister to adopt a "very tough attitude" to protect the capital, noting that the match is scheduled on the eve of an inspection by the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) in relation to the capital's bid to host Expo 2030.
Last September, when Piantedosi was the prefect of Rome, authorities banned the sale of tickets to Feyenoord fans ahead of a UEFA Cup match against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.
Last month 'ultra' supporters of German football club Eintracht Frankfurt rioted in Naples, ahead of a Champions League match against Napoli, leading authorities to introduce an alcohol ban for the international game between Italy and England in Naples.
On 19 February 2015, rioting Feyenoord supporters clashed with Rome police at the Spanish Steps and in Villa Borghese after spending the day drinking, in defiance of alcohol restrictions in place.
Rioters threw smoke bombs and smashed glass bottles against the 17th-century Barcaccia fountain, accredited to Pietro Bernini, who was possibly assisted by his son Gian Lorenzo.
The central part of the Baroque monument was damaged, with chipped fragments of the fountain visible in the waters along with glass bottles and trash dumped by the hooligans who also vandalised 15 city buses.
The travertine fountain, dating to 1626-29, had recently undergone a year-long restoration.
The clashes resulted in the arrest of 50 Feyenoord fans, with 18 people injured, including 13 police officers.
Last year a court in Rome found six Feyenoord fans guilty in absentia of vandalising the Barcaccia fountain, handing out sentences ranging from three years and eight months to four years.

Police response near Temple Meads after 'football fans threw bottles and swung punches'
Rival football fans allegedly clashed in Bristol yesterday, with footage showing a group of people surging towards an alleyway near Temple Meads as police sirens sounded. A witness claims ugly scenes developed in the city centre yesterday (April 1) after around 200 fans got off the train ahead of Bristol City's match against Reading.
The large group is said to have become embroiled in a fracas at around 1pm in an alleyway opposite the station. A video shows a police car arriving at the roadside and an officer running into the alleyway, with the group quickly dispersing.
The Reading fans had their hands up and were chanting. They saw the group come out of the alley and charged at them. They were throwing bottles and swinging punches at each other.

Napoli ultras staged a silent protest during the 4-0 defeat to Milan, with some fans brawling between themselves, but the roots of their problems with President Aurelio De Laurentiis go far beyond increased ticket prices.
Those fights broke out between different sets of ultras groups who disagree on how they ought to be protesting.

Italy : Napoli fans arrested for clashes - 04/04/2023
Source: https://www.ansa.it/
Italian police on Tuesday arrested two Napoli ultra fans on suspicion of taking part in clashes that marred the Serie A match with AC MIlan on Sunday night, judicial sources said.
A 32-year-old Neapolitan and a 37-year-old from the province of Benevento were arrested for their alleged involvement in the trouble that broke out in Curva B of the Maradona stadium during Napoli-Milan, which ended in a shock 4-0 home defeat for the runaway Serie A leaders but has not really dented their hopes of a third scudetto after the two of the Maradona glory years.
The arrest warrants were issued after investigations by the Digos special security police, who also viewed the images recorded by the video surveillance systems.
The two fans of the group 'Ultras 72' are charged with possession of blunt objects and are also accused of aggravated brawling.
At the same time, five-year stadium bans, or DASPOs, were issued against the two ultras. Naples Mayor Gaetano Manfredi called scenes of the fighting "unacceptable".

Italiy : Lazio Handed Suspended Partial Stadium Ban for Fan Behavior - 04/04/2023
Lazio have been handed a suspended partial stadium ban for the behavior and actions of the club’s supporters during the 1-0 win over Derby della Capitale rivals Roma earlier last month. A section of the home fans directed antisemitic and racist chants at Giallorossi fans during the derby clash, prompting the sanction.
The FIGC ruling has come to a verdict to close the Curva Nord section, where the Lazio ultras are located, for one game. However, the sentence has been suspended with regard to the club’s decision to hand three lifetime bans to fans previously involved in such discriminatory incidents.
During the derby, one such spectator was seen wearing a Lazio shirt with the name “Hitlerson” above the number 88, which is a numerical code for ‘Heil Hitler.’ Two other Biancocelesti fans were also banned for performing fascist Roman salutes.

Lazio's cross-town rivals Roma were also fined 8,000 euros for their fans racially abusing Sampdoria coach Dejan Stankovic on Sunday.
Former Red Star Belgrade, Lazio and Inter Milan midfielder Stankovic was targeted with chants calling him a "gypsy" until Roma coach Jose Mourinho demanded they stop -- actions which saved Roma from a harsher penalty.
