England fan knocked unconscious as 'Italian police attack travelling supporters'

Fans found it tough to get to the stadium before the game, with a strong police presence in the city. Sections of the support have been videoed clashing with the authorities as the situation became toxic outside the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

Footage shows England fans being charged by baton-wielding officers as they queued to gain entry to the venue. Eyewitness reports claim that one match-goer was knocked unconscious during the violence.

It is claimed that the elderly individual was knocked unconscious after police 'indiscriminately' barged into the travelling England fans. It is unclear what caused the situation, with those present apparently insisting it was 'unprovoked'.

The Czech police confirms: Poles have been detained

In the evening, however, another message appeared, in which it was communicated that there were detentions before the start of the competition. “Before the start of the match, the police detained six people who either did not comply with police orders or used pyrotechnics in front of the stadium. In all cases, they were visiting fans,” we read.

From the last statement issued on that day, we learn that a total of 10 people were detained for misdemeanors. “Police officers will evaluate camera footage and identify fans who have committed illegal acts,” it concluded.

The duel in the “Jane Sandanski” hall was marked by a conflict between fans, “Komita” on one side and “Chkembara” on the other. The game was played in the 17th minute when supporters of the visiting team entered the hall and immediately started going wild and shooting pyrotechnics at the audience in other parts of the stands.

The police responded, but were unable to deal with the unprecedented chaos on the handball courts in Macedonia and beyond. Home fans also entered the field from the stands, and the part of the audience that was next to the stand with visiting fans, which numbered around 500, left their seats. Complete chaos on the field lasted a little more than ten minutes.

The match was then stopped, but the referees and the delegate decided to continue it, with the audience present, after the captains spoke to the fans.

A fight breaks out in the middle of the street between hooligans from Caen and Rouen

A few minutes before the start of the National 2 match between the Stade Malherbe Caen 2nd team and FC Rouen, a fight broke out between supporters of both sides. It pitted around thirty supporters on each side near Boulevard Pompidou, between the Stade de Venoix and the Stade d'Ornano. The images sent to us are impressive.

Cars, parked in the back alley, were degraded. Six CRS vehicles intervened. A fire truck was also dispatched to the scene. At least one person was injured and taken to the emergency room. According to several versions, the confrontation had been planned. The two groups rushed towards each other. The exchange of blows lasted about twenty minutes. Law enforcement arrived later. Smoke bombs and glass cans were thrown.

"Caen hooligans" were heard in the ranks of Caen. On the Rouen side, the Young School Casual Rouen, considered a group of hooligans, was present. The “real” FCR supporters, many of whom came to this derby, were already in the stands at the time of the events.

After a Piacenza supporter had been violently beaten by the Tunisian player of Novara, Yohan Benalouane, the local ultras gathered in front of the exit of the players. Referee of the game, Thom Winkel, stopped the game a 1st time after missiles and firecrackers were threw into the pitch by GVVV supporters.

After the 2nd goal of away team, the referee stopped the game due to the use of firecrackers by local fans in direction of their rivals.
The game was stopped for 30 minutes.
