A group of Paris Saint-Germain ultras attempted to disrupt Real Madrid's preparations for their Champions League clash by banging drums and setting off flares outside the team hotel at 1.30am.
It is understood that around 50 PSG fans gathered before making deafening noises with firecrackers in the early hours of Tuesday morning in a bid to wake up Los Blancos players.
Police were forced to drive the supporters off the streets after receiving a call from the Madrid security team. El Mundo report that two ultras were detained after the incident.

At least 60 injured after police pepper spray fans
At least 60 Brazilian soccer fans were injured at a local derby between Sport and Santa Cruz on Wednesday after supporters seeking to avoid a terracing confrontation were pepper sprayed by police, local media reported.
TV Globo showed dozens of fans being treated by medical personnel on the grass surrounding the pitch. There were no reported fatalities, but local media websites said 60 people had been injured.
The incident occurred after Santa Cruz supporters ran down the terracing to avoid a clash between an officer pursuing a fan who lit a flare.

Lille fans invade pitch, assault players following draw with Montpellier
ans of struggling French club Lille charged onto the pitch to confront, insult, and threaten the players who drew with Montpellier 1-1 on Saturday.
At the final whistle, fans spilled onto the field at Stade Pierre-Mauory. Striker Nicolas Pepe was kicked in the leg by one fan and there were more flashpoints between fans and players as stewards struggled to control the situation. Defender Adama Soumaoro was also reportedly struck.
A line of stewards formed on the side of the pitch to hold back about 200 fans, who were chanting insults at the players and at president Gerard Lopez, just days after Lopez met with fan groups on Monday. They had reportedly assured him they would back the team until the end of the season, but the truce crumbled in seconds.
"You're dirtying our jersey, you're dirtying our jersey," the horde of irate fans chanted at the players.
Lille are next-to-last with only nine games left and fans issued a threat if things don't improve.
"If we go down, we'll take you down," some of them sang, as Lopez shook his head disapprovingly from the stands.
Stewards initially struggled to stop fans from entering the tunnel to the dressing rooms. But finally the fans backed off to the stands.
Coach Christophe Galtier reasoned that the fans had good reason to be frustrated, but said their behaviour was nonetheless unacceptable.
"They are fans who lost control, but they are also fans who are unhappy and sad," Galtier said. "I don't accept that my players are punched, that my players are treated this way. We will count the points at the end of the season. It's only one game."
When Lopez became president, he confidently spoke about his ambition to qualify for the Champions League within a few seasons.
But, instead, Lille -- which won the French league and cup double in 2011 -- is fighting to avoid relegation.
"My players gave everything and have done so for a certain time now," Galtier said. "I can understand the disappointment and the anger [of the fans], but my players are also disappointed and angry with themselves."

West Ham Match Against Burnley Descends Into Chaos As Fans Storm Pitch, Police Investigating
Police are investigating allegations of assault after a Premier League football match descended into chaos on Saturday when fans stormed the pitch.
The Football Association has “strongly condemned” the crowd disturbances during West Ham’s match against Burnley this afternoon.
Scotland Yard has received two allegations of assault and West Ham said it has launched a “full and thorough investigation” into today’s events.
During the match, which the Hammers lost 3-0, about 200 supporters gathered around the director’s box, hurling abuse at West Ham co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan.
Towards the end of the fixture, four separate invasions took place by individual home fans, police said.
The Hammers have vowed to take “decisive and appropriate action” after completing a “full and thorough investigation”.
FA action could follow, with a spokesperson saying in a tweet: “The FA strongly condemns the crowd disturbances seen today at West Ham United versus Burnley and will be seeking observations from West Ham as well as awaiting the match referee’s report.”

PSG vs Real : UEFA open proceedings against PSG - 08/03/2018
Source : Europe1.fr
The problems are piling up for Paris Saint-Germain, with UEFA set to come down hard on them for both Financial Fair Play and the behaviour of the club's ultras. That came during their 5-2 aggregate loss to Real Madrid during the Champions League last-16.The file on their fans' behaviour is already being worked upon and, in the coming days, they will receive their punishment for everything that happened, particularly their use of flares, lasers, poor organisation and the blocking of stairways.
PSG have a problem with the ultras but are taking something of a lax attitude to their behaviour both inside the Parc des Princes and away from the stadium. In fact, Real even raised a complaint with UEFA over everything that happened around their hotel on Monday night as opposing fans disrupted their sleep and preparation. However, the UEFA delegate's report only reflects everything that happened within the stadium during Tuesday night's 2-1 win for Real Madrid.
PSG have already received penalties in the past for the behaviour of their fans, with a section of the ground even being closed due to their indiscretions.

Trouble flares between police and PSG over 'pyrotechnic devices' - 09/03/2018
Source : http://www.business-standard.com/
The Paris police made clear today how unhappy they were with the Paris Saint-Germain management after "pyrotechnic devices" twice interrupted the Champions League game against Real Madrid at the Parc des Princes. The Prefecture of Police (PP) said on Friday they had banned seven fans arrested in possession of flares from the stadium. During Tuesday's game "smoke bombs were let off in large numbers in the stands, nearly 150 were fired, causing the interruption of the game twice," the police said in a statement which went on to make clear that the club itself was also under scrutiny. "Despite police warnings on the duty of the club to prevent such incidents, which follow several similar and regrettable occurrences at the PSG-Nice game on 27 October 2017 and, more recently, the PSG-Marseille match on February 2018, it is not acceptable that the same things were allowed to happen in a match of such importance," said the police. The statement said that the police had sent a letter the day after the match to remind PSG of their obligation "to prevent the introduction and use of smoke makers and fireworks in Parc des Princes". It added that police chief Michel Delpuech "will soon receive the directors of PSG to draw up a plan to stop such excesses". On Thursday, UEFA, the governing body of European football, said it was opening an enquiry into the events at the match in which PSG was eliminated from Europe.

Grimsby Town - Port Vale - 10/03/2018

Port Vale and Grimsby Town fans clashed as fighting broke out at Blundell Park today during the League Two game
Shocking footage has emerged of violent clashes involving fans outside the match between Grimsby Town and Port Vale at Blundell Park.
The supporters of the EFL League Two sides began attacking each other before the final whistle was blown at today's game, as fans charged at one another when Grimsby equalised in the last minute.
Fans could be seen trying to fight and hurling missiles, as stewards inside the ground fought to hold them back.
Now more footage has emerged of fans fighting at the Constitutional Road exit of the stadium, where what are believed to be Port Vale fans can be seen massing in what appears to be an attempt to attack Grimsby Town fans as they attempt to leave the stadium.
Around 25-30 fans can be seen forming into a ruck, as they throw punches and kicks at stewards and the Mariners fans behind them inside the ground.
Police can then be seen rushing to the scene in an attempt to disperse the trouble, with the fans on the street briefly fighting back before they are subdued and 'kettled' by officers to pen them in.
The fans can then be seen moving away from the skirmish, before halting and beginning to chant and taunt those from Grimsby. Town had equalised in the final minutes of today's game to make it 1-1, the first with new boss Michael Jolley in charge.
Humberside Police had been prepared for the threat of violence prior to the game, assembling a large police presence in an around the Cleethorpes high street.
Chief Superintendent Darren Downs who was in overall charge of the policing of the game said: "We staffed this game in a proportionate way, and in response to the intelligence we received regarding the game and the potential for disorder from fans.
"Our officers policed appropriately to control a number of fans who sought to cause disorder and disruption inside and outside the ground, as well as to the local community.
"Aside from the normal evidence and intelligence gathering officers from Staffordshire Police, of which there were three, the match has been policed by officers from the Humberside force.
"As with any football fixture the vast majority of football supporters, home and away, attended purely to watch the game and have an enjoyable afternoon out, and it is our priority to make it as safe as possible for these fans.
"I'd like to thank the local communities of Cleethorpes and Grimsby for their patience during today’s game and reassure them that we will continue to ensure they are safe, as well as thanking our staff for their hard work.”

PAOK docked three points over Olympiakos coach injury - 05/03/2018
Source : https://citizen.co.za/
PAOK Thessaloniki were deducted three points by the Greek Super League on Monday after last month’s clash with Olympiakos was postponed when visiting coach Oscar Garcia was hit by an object thrown from the stands.
The February 25 match was awarded 3-0 in favour of Olympiakos while PAOK were fined 30,000 euros ($37,000)and must play their next two home matches behind closed doors, including one against leaders AEK Athens.
The points deduction delivers a hammer blow to PAOK’s title hopes, dropping the club to third in the table on 49 points with Olympiakos replacing them in second on 50 points, four behind AEK.
The Thessaloniki club are expected to appeal the decision.
The game between PAOK, then in first place, and Olympiakos was called off before kick-off after Garcia had to be taken to hospital with a facial injury suffered when hit by a cashier’s paper roll.
Spaniard Garcia spent the night at a heavily-guarded hospital and was released the next morning after being diagnosed by a neurologist with sensitivity to the left temporal joint, dizziness, neck pain and nausea.
Greek media reports said the 27-year-old PAOK supporter charged with throwing the object had previously been arrested three times for incidents related to sports violence, the first when he was a minor.
Police described the suspect as “particularly dangerous”.
The incident prompted the Olympiakos team to leave the pitch in protest before riots erupted outside the ground.
Angry PAOK fans leaving the stadium clashed with police who used tear gas to quell the violence.
Police made two arrests and three police officers were injured as the fans set fire to rubbish bins and damaged parked cars.

PAOK : Greek club's fans invade TV station in protest of Super League punishment - 07/03/2018
Source : http://www.the42.ie/
SOME 40 PAOK Thessaloniki supporters invaded the studios of state-run Greek television station ERT 3 on Tuesday and forced a sportscaster to read a five-minute protest message on the air.
The fans left peacefully after the announcement and no arrests were made.
The hooligans were protesting the decision by the Super League to dock their team three points over last month’s clash with Olympiakos which was postponed when visiting coach Oscar Garcia was hit by an object thrown from the stands.
The 25 February match was awarded 3-0 in favour of Olympiakos while PAOK were fined €30,000 and must play their next two home matches behind closed doors, including one against league leaders and title rivals AEK Athens.
“The administration of ERT condemns in the most categorical manner the invasion of fans of a football team in the ERT 3 studios during live broadcast,” an announcement from the station said.
The station said the action stopped the normal flow of the programme “in a deeply undemocratic act which is in no way compliant with the sporting spirit”.
In the announcement, the PAOK supporters said that the decision by the Super League “was the biggest sporting scandal of all-time”.
They called on all PAOK supporters to take part in a protest rally on Thursday in the centre of Thessaloniki as well as a march on Sunday before the scheduled home match with AEK.
PAOK have appealed the decision by the Super League, stating that Spaniard Garcia faked his injury, despite the coach spending the night in hospital and being diagnosed by a neurologist with sensitivity to the left temporal joint, dizziness, neck pain and nausea.

German police investigate banners with death threats outside Hamburg stadium
Police are investigating after funeral crosses and a banner carrying death threats were erected in front of the stadium of Bundesliga club Hamburg on Saturday evening.
A banner reading "your time is up, we will get you all" was hung from a fence, while black crosses were stuck in the ground in front of the Volksparkstadion.
The threat is understood to be directed at the Hamburg players.
Hamburg are currently second from bottom in the Bundesliga and could be relegated for the first time in their history this season.
They lost 6-0 away to champions Bayern Munich on Saturday and were travelling back to Hamburg when the banner and crosses were put up.
The desperate sporting situation has poisoned relations between the team and their fans, and threatening banners have been held up at home fixtures earlier this season.
One sign reading "we will hunt you through the city" was erected before a game against Bayer Leverkusen in February, while another saying "thanks for nothing, mercenaries" was displayed at last week's defeat to Mainz.
According to reports in the German media, the club have tripled the night-time security personnel at the stadium following Saturday's incident.

Greece : PAOK gets back 3 points docked for violence - 11/03/2018
Source : https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/
The Greek football federation's appeals committee decided early Sunday to return three points docked from PAOK last week over the February 25 match with Olympiakos, when visiting coach Oscar Garcia was hit by an object thrown from the stands.
The committee also erased its decision to have PAOK play their next two home matches behind closed doors. As a result Sunday's decisive Super League contest against leaders AEK Athens will take place in front of spectators.
However, the committee maintained with its decision to award last month's match -- which was postponed after the incident -- to Olympiakos 3-0 and to keep the 30,000 euros fine for PAOK.
In its earlier appeal, PAOK had claimed that Spaniard Garcia faked his injury, despite the coach spending the night in hospital and being diagnosed by a neurologist with sensitivity to the left temporal joint, dizziness, neck pain and nausea.
PAOK now move into second place in the standings with 52 points, just two behind AEK while Olympiakos fall to third place with 50 points.
Olympiakos were also docked three points for fan violence during a 2-1 home loss to AEK last month.
"The decision is reminiscent of other times when court decisions are taken at night. A country sold by the unscrupulous rulers in interests of dubious origin," had been the angry reaction of Olympiakos communications director Konstantinos Karapapas.
The club's appeal is scheduled to be decided on Tuesday.

Greek football match stopped after team owner invades pitch with a gun
A disputed goal at the end of a match in the Greek Superleague between Paok Salonika and AEK Athens has led to a pitch invasion by one of the team owners, who appeared to be carrying a gun.
Fernando Varela scored with a header in the 90th minute, putting the home team, Paok, ahead 1-0 and on course to close the gap between themselves in third spot and leaders AEK.
The referee signalled a goal but then seemed to disallow it for offside.
Paok’s owner, the businessman Ivan Savvidis, came on the field twice and was accompanied by bodyguards. On the second occasion, without the overcoat he was wearing before, Savvidis appeared to be carrying a pistol which was in its holder.
AEK officials claimed Savvidis threatened the referee during his first foray onto the pitch, before being pulled away.
The game was suspended and the crowd was told to disperse. Adding to the widespread confusion, there were claims that the referee, Giorgos Kominis, had allowed the goal.
The Superleague’s website recorded the match as a 0-0 draw and showed AEK still leading the table on 55 points, with Olympiacos in second on 53 points and Paok still in third on 50.
An official statement was expected from the league.
