Angry Le Havre supporters invade pitch after loss to Quevilly
Angry fans of second division French side Le Havre spilled onto the field following a 2-0 home defeat to struggling Quevilly on Friday, the second such invasion in French football this month.
After the final whistle, some 120 fans charged onto the pitch at Stade Oceane. They tried to make their way to the entrance to the dressing rooms but were blocked by a line of stewards.
Le Havre are in ninth place and Normandy-based Quevilly are 19th in the 20-team league.
The scenes were almost identical to when angry Lille fans invaded the field after a 1-1 home draw with Montpellier on March 10. The following day, the French football league opened disciplinary proceedings.
Fans of struggling Lille had confronted and threatened players. One player was kicked in the leg and there were more flashpoints between fans and players as stewards struggled to control the situation.
Le Havre fans, however, did not confront players and dispersed after a few moments of heated chanting.

World Cup Fans Will Be Allowed to Have Marijuana, Cocaine, Heroin in Stadiums—With a Prescription - 01/03/2018
Source: https://www.si.com/
Fans attending the World Cup in Russia this summer will be allowed to bring narcotics into stadiums, but there’s a catch. Actually, make that a few catches.
Russia the leader of the Eurasian Economic Union, which has provisions allowing people traveling to its member states to bring certain banned substances. Travelers are allowed to declare drugs at customs if they have a doctor’s note written in Russian.
Marijuana, cocaine and heroin are among the hundreds of drugs and precursors on the list of substances travelers can declare.
If fans are able to get their drugs into Russia, FIFA rules permit them to bring them into stadiums. FIFA allows fans to bring narcotics and psychotropics into stadiums if they have a prescription (in English or Russian) and the drugs are in their original packaging.
“Security officers will monitor the enforcement of rules for carrying prescription drugs to stadium grounds at checkpoints,” Russia’s World Cup organizing committee said in a statement to The Moscow Times.
It appears, however, that fans will not be allowed to use the drugs in stadiums. FIFA’s stadium regulations instruct stewards to remove fans who “present a risk due to consumption of alcohol and/or drugs.”

Chelsea fans ‘attacked by police’
Worrying footage was filmed by eye-witnesses at the Camp Nou on Wednesday after the game ended.
As Chelsea fans left the stadium, video footage recorded trouble with the Spanish police.
The film seems to show how Spanish police attacked Chelsea fans with batons, when there didn’t seem to be any good reason for the violence.
Chelsea put out a statement which read:
We are aware of reports of incidents outside the ground before the game where a number of Chelsea fans were hurt.
We ask that our supporters contact us with accounts of their experiences of this evening’s arrival at the stadium so that we can take this up properly with the authorities.

Chelsea fans 'hurt' in clashes before Barcelona game
Alleged incidents outside Camp Nou before Wednesday's Champions League match have led the Blues to ask for fan testimony Chelsea have appealed for witness accounts from supporters who travelled to Wednesday's Champions League match against Barcelona after claiming "a number of fans were hurt" in alleged incidents outside Camp Nou. The reigning Premier League champions were beaten 3-0 by Barcelona, with Lionel Messi hitting a brace either side of Ousmane Dembele's maiden goal for the La Liga leaders. It meant a 4-1 exit on aggregate at the last-16 stage but, after Antonio Conte's post-match briefing, Chelsea requested information from anyone caught up in reported altercations before kick-off.
