South Wales Police announced that three male youths remained in custody following two separate incidents for encroachment onto the pitch during the Swans’ 3-2 defeat to City at the Liberty Stadium.
In a statement, police match commander Superintendent Steve Jones said: “The safety of supporters, players, officials and those who work these games is paramount.
“Those who invade the playing area are committing a criminal offence, will be dealt with robustly and could face lengthy bans from all football matches. We will continue to work with the football club to prevent and deter this unacceptable behaviour from a very small minority continuing.”
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said: “It’s happened a few times lately and it’s a worry because in the future we could have problems.
“It’s not nice but thankfully nothing happened this time.”

A VIDEO showing shocking scenes of violence between Bolton Wanderers fans and police has been posted on social media.
The footage, which shows a large number of fans surrounding officers, came during Wanderers 5-2 defeat to local rivals Wigan Athletics today.
In the video scuffles can be seen between supporters and police in high-visibility jackets, during which some fans appear to punch and grab officers who are stood on the stairs.
During the incident at least one officer was knocked to the ground.
Inspector Tariq Butt, from GMP's Tactical Aid Unit, said the problems had increased after the game.
Replying to the video, he tweeted: "This is the level of violence my officer had to face today...which only got worse post match."
The game was held at Wigan's DW Stadium, with an attendance of 13,664 people, including 3,776 visiting Wanderers fans.

Panathinaïkos - Olympiakos - 17/03/2019

Panathinaikos vs Olympiakos derby abandoned due to crowd trouble
One more Greek derby, that between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos on Sunday, fell victim of fan violence, as the match at the Olympic Stadium of Athens was abandoned on the 70th minute due to clashes between hooligans and the police.
German referee Marco Fritz decided to stop the game with the score at 1-0 in Olympiakos’s favor due to the chemicals the police used in the clashes outside the stadium, and to the presence of home supporters around the turf that offered the match officials no security for the game to resume.
The match is destined to be awarded to Olympiakos with a 3-0 score and Panathinaikos will likely be deducted six points, three for being at fault for the game’s abandonment and three for the fan riots at the outskirts of the stadium.
Although there were no Olympiakos fans at the stadium – as is always the case in Greek derbies these days – the atmosphere was explosive, with some 15-20 fans bearing no club jerseys or scarves invading the area surrounding the pitch and attacked the Olympiakos bench and clashed with the visitors’ officials on the fifth minute of the game. Olympiakos alleged that one of the invaders bore a knife.
The match resumed after a 10-minute stoppage and flowed peacefully until the 53rd minute, when Miguel Angel Guerrero scored for Olympiakos. A number of Panathinaikos hardcore left the terrace and clashed with police a few meters out of the stadium. The riot police used stun grenades and tear gas to disperse the hooligans, with the chemicals traveling to inside the Olympic Stadium.
The referee and the player managed to wait until the completion of the 69th minute, but the atmosphere was unbearable and the match was temporarily and then definitively abandoned.

PSG 'ultras' boycott start of PSG-Marseille clash
Angry Paris Saint-Germain supporters shunned Sunday's kick-off against bitter rivals Marseille in their first match at the Parc des Princes since a humiliating Champions League exit at the hands of Manchester United.
Hardcore 'ultras' in the Auteuil end of the ground stayed silent and refused to take their seats for the start amid an outpouring of anger following the club's latest European failure.
Banners reading "We don't forget", "respect the establishment" and "banknotes in place of a heart" were hung in a section behind the goal to make clear supporters' unhappiness at PSG's 3-1 home defeat by United on March 6.
PSG coach Thomas Tuchel had called for the club's aggrieved fans to rally behind the players, after they were met with abuse from supporters who had been invited into a training session at the club's stadium last weekend.
"In my opinion it's not deserved and it doesn't help. I know they are disappointed, but they have no need to keep showing it again and again," Tuchel said on Saturday.

Dundee FC - Celtic Glasgow - 17/03/2019
Source : https://www.eveningtelegraph.co.uk/
Police make arrests at Dundee match against Celtic at Dens
Two people were apprehended by police, with a number of supporters rejected by stewards and police at the stadium.
The game ended in dramatic fashion as Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard bagged the winner in the 96th minute to give Neil Lennon’s men a precious three points as they moved a step closer to the title.
It also condemned Dundee to another defeat on home soil as they remain in 11th spot.
Meanwhile, there were reports of disorder on Mains Road from fans travelling back from the game at Dens.
An eyewitness said supporters of both sides were involved in an altercation after the match, with some coming to blows.
The witness, who asked not to be named, said: “It looked as though a few Celtic fans had been watching the game in The Maltman pub and, when they came out, they started teasing a group of Dundee supporters who had been at the game.
“Several punches were exchanged before it broke up.
“There was no sign of any police.”
The report of disorder comes after trouble at the previous meeting between the sides at Dens Park.
In December, Dundee released a statement condemning the actions of the Celtic supporters after smoke bombs were set off in the away end during the match and pyrotechnics were allegedly used.
Dundee reassured fans they would work with the authorities to identify those responsible.
A police spokesman confirmed the arrests made at the latest meeting between the sides.
He said: “There were two arrests at the Dundee v Celtic match and a number of people were ejected from the stadium.”

Inter have been handed a suspended stand closure on Monday for racist abuse by their fans towards AC Milan's Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie during last weekend's city derby.
The Italian football federation's sports judge said three officials in different parts of the stadium twice heard the "racist chants" directed at Kessie after seven and 39 minutes from Inter's Curva Nord (north stand) at the San Siro.
The FIGC said the punishment was suspended for a year "with the warning that if during this period a similar violation will be committed, the suspension will be revoked and the sanction will be added to that imposed for the new violation".
Inter were forced to play two games behind closed doors earlier this year after Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly was targeted by monkey noises and racist chants during a Serie A match on December 26.
