Sturm Graz - RSC Anderlecht - 20/10/2011
Source : mail (thanks to the sender)
A very goof BCS mob for this trip to Graz with about 100 lads joined by scarfers. Graz lads knew where we were during all the day but they didn't come.
We took direction of the stadium and police was disorganised but locals didn't attack us. Finally we arrived in front of their pub which is closed. Then when we arrived at the stadium, locals were behing the police so nothing happened.
At half-time a mob of us left the stadium and fought with locals in the streets. After the game, another mob left the stadium under police escort. It seemed Graz mob waited for us in the main street but when we arrived police was on our left and pushed us in our right so we though it was finished....but no police was made a mistake and we're in front of locals. We immediately charged at them and they ran away but are blocked at the end of the street (wall) so they used all what they had, like bottles, chairs, batons...only 5 of them fought with punches and kicks. Police intervened but were pelted with missiles: two of them were wounded and two Belgians arrested. Anderlecht won without any doubt.
Then, we mobbed up in an hotel where Graz lads said they'll come but no one arrived. We heard that it seems 30 top lads are in a pub in the city center so we took the direction of this pub but police avoided any attack, encercling the pub.
So, good night for us but too much talk on Graz side who prefer posting videos on youtube.

UK: Football hooligans jailed after train station brawl - 22/10/2011
Source : Thestar.co.uk
Three members of a Sheffield football hooligan group have been jailed and banned from attending football matches for their part in violence at Sheffield railway station.
Blades Business Crew members Aaron Marshall, aged 23, Jordan Marshall, 20 and Tyrone Wilson, 19, were involved in a fight after a match between Sheffield United and Barnsley at the end of last season.
Sheffield Crown Court heard the three yobs attacked Barnsley fans at Sheffield station on April 30 - after a game which saw United relegated to League One.
While the Barnsley fans waited for their train, the group picked ballast from the tracks and began to throw it at the fans.
One piece of ballast struck a 60-year-old man who suffered a serious cut to his head which required hospital treatment.
British Transport Police officers, together with colleagues from South Yorkshire Police, identified the men in CCTV footage.
The three were later arrested and put before the courts where they pleaded guilty to affray.
Aaron Marshall, of Thornborough Close, Arbourthorne, was sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment.
Jordan Marshall, of Hopedale Road, Frecheville, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment in a young offenders institute.
And Wilson, of Oldale Close, Woodhouse, will serve six months’ imprisonment.
All three men banned from attending organised football matches for seven years.
Football Intelligence Officer PC Wayne Mitchell said: “The actions of the three men were not simply irresponsible, they were dangerous and put the safety of a host of people at Sheffield rail station at risk.
“That they will now be banned from all football for seven years shows just how serious their action is viewed by police and the wider criminal justice system.
“Violence has no place on the railway and those responsible in this case have caused injury and upset to other passengers and sullied the name of Sheffield United.”
He added: “The vast majority of football fans are law abiding and simply want to enjoy going to matches up and down the country.
“But some, like Marshall, Marshall and Wilson, show little respect for others - and the clubs they support - and use football as an excuse to carry out violent acts.”

Ethnic Russian Football Fan Beaten to Death - 21/10/2011
Source : The Moscow Times
Raising new fears of ethnic tensions, an ethnic Russian football fan has been beaten to death with metal pipes in St. Petersburg, and three Uzbek migrant workers are in custody on suspicion of aggravated assault.
St. Petersburg investigators said Friday that the death came as a result of a brawl sparked by "sudden personal hostility."
The investigators did not release the victim's name, but media reports identified him as Roman "Rubin" Lovchikov, 22, a supporter of the local Zenit football club.
The three suspects were identified by the Investigative Committee as Mamur Kudratov, 32, Ikram Razikov, 41, and his brother Nizam, 33.
The migrants, all communal services workers, claimed they were attacked by Lovchikov and three friends, Gazeta.ru said, citing an unidentified city police official. The three friends, meanwhile, said the Uzbeks had been drinking and attacked them after they reprimanded one of them for "insolent behavior."
Lovchikov walked away after the brawl but collapsed on some nearby stairs and died of his injuries, the report said. A friend, Roman Ivanov, was briefly hospitalized with head lacerations, Rusnovosti.ru reported.
A case was opened on charges of intentionally inflicting grave bodily harm that resulted in death, which could land the Uzbeks in jail for 15 years. A district court authorized the detention of all three on Saturday, RIA-Novosti said.
The Investigative Committee and the city government both have denied that the fight resulted from ethnic tension, but not everyone was convinced. Lovchikov was beaten in the face by migrants in the same place last week, his girlfriend, identified as Alina, told Rusnovosti.ru.
Several online Zenit fan forums accused the police of playing down the ethnic side of the attack, although they also urged against "calls for a second Manezh Square."
Some 5,500 nationalists and football fans clashed with police on Moscow's Manezh Square in December during a rally to protest a police investigation into the deadly shooting of Spartak Moscow fan Yegor Sviridov during a fight with Dagestani natives.
A Moscow jury ruled all six Dagestani suspects guilty last week, with sentencing expected this week.
Fears of ethnic unrest are high ahead of State Duma elections in December, a time when parties and the Kremlin alike have fueled ethnic tensions in the past to score political points.
President Dmitry Medvedev has called for ethnic peace.
Nationalists plan to hold their annual Russian March next week.
A 16-year-old Spartak Moscow fan was stabbed to death in Moscow on Saturday, RIA-Novosti reported. Police said he was killed in a turf war between two teenage gangs and that an 18-year-old suspect has been detained and pleaded guilty, saying he acted in self-defense.

Police praise for City and United fans at Manchester derby despite arrests
Police last night praised the behaviour of fans at the match.
There were 18 arrests near the ground, in Stretford and in the city centre for a range of offences including possession of drugs, public order and assault.
Chief Supt John O’Hare said: "The derby is always an event where emotions run high and today was no exception.
"We are grateful to the vast majority of people that attended today, whose conduct was exemplary and they enjoyed this fixture in the true spirit of the game.
"We arrested eighteen people in relation to sporadic incidents of minor disorder and other offences, and we will ensure they are dealt with robustly.
"However, the behaviour of these few was not representative of the majority."
