Poland: Gwarek Tarnowskie Gory - AKS Niwka Sosnowiec - 29/10/2011
Two Steaua Bucharest players suffered serious injuries after being attacked by fans during their ill-tempered league match at promoted Petrolul Ploiesti on Sunday, which was abandoned just before halftime. Defender George Galamaz, capped four times by Romania, sustained a serious facial injury after a Petrolul fan invaded the pitch and punched him, initiating an ugly mass brawl in the latter stages of the first half of the mid-table clash. "He (Galamaz) suffered a cheekbone fracture and he'll be recovering for six weeks," Steaua sporting director Narcis Raducan told local media, adding that the player also has hearing problems. Reserve keeper Ciprian Tatarusanu suffered severe burns after he was hit by a firecracker, thrown from the stands, forcing the match to be abandoned after almost a half-hour delay. The Ploiesti-based club's supporter ran onto the field after being angered by referee Robert Dumitru's decision to award Steaua a dubious penalty. The visitors led 1-0 at the time. Steaua's Serbian defender Novak Martinovic and keeper Razvan Stanca were sent off for attacking the fan with Martinovic using a karate style kick while several other players also kicked the trouble-maker. The match at the Ilie Oana stadium was resumed several minutes after the incidents with 1986 European Cup Winners Steaua going 2-0 ahead after Mihai Costea converted the penalty. However, soon after the goal, the referee had no choice but to abandon the game with Tatarusanu, who replaced Stanca, bending in pain on the pitch after the firecracker hit him in the back. Flamboyant Steaua owner Gigi Becali blamed the referee for the troubles, saying the official "threw the match off balance". The Romanian Football Federation could now award Steaua a 3-0 victory.

Dynamo Dresden ban own fans after Cup trouble - 31/10/2011
BERLIN (Reuters) - Former East German powerhouses Dynamo Dresden have banned their own fans from one away game after crowd trouble in their second round German Cup defeat at champions Borussia Dortmund last week, the club said on Monday. The second division side said they were not accepting any tickets for their Nov. 27 game at St Pauli and had handed back the use of the guest tribune to the hosts. The club also threatened to ban fans again in future if they cause trouble in the coming games, the eight-times East German champions said in a statement. "We had to act to show that we would not allow these unteachable rowdies to take over the games of Dynamo Dresden for their own criminal acts," said the club's managing director Volker Oppitz. Dynamo fans had lit flares and thrown objects onto the pitch in Dortmund while also damaging food stands and stadium equipment and fighting with police around the ground. The club, who also had to appease angry sponsors, said they expected a tough sentence from the federation's sports court.

Women Volleyball : Markopoulo - Panathinaikos - 29/10/2011
Women’s volleyball suffered once again due to football fans’ rivalries as the court of Markopoulo witnessed an unexpected clash between rival fans on Saturday that left three people injured and forced the match between the local side and Panathinaikos to be abandoned.
The match had started between Markopoulo and Panathinaikos, with 100 away fans supporting their team peacefully, when a number of men who had their heads and faces covered stormed in and hurled Molotov cocktails, flares and stones at the Panathinaikos fans.
The latter responded and started a pitch battle on the court in the absence of riot police while the athletes rushed into the dressing room for their safety and the home fans, including young children, tried to escape the mayhem.
Sources suggested that the hooded men may have been AEK supporters.
The fighting ended when the riot police finally arrived to disperse the hooligans

ŠK Slovan Bratislava - PSG - 20/10/2011
Source : Mail
250 PSG hools (top lads) went to Bratislava, most of them arrived the night before the game. Direction the pubs, lots of alcohol. Pity, we didn't see the locals, not a lot of policemen in town, it would've been perfect...
Day of the game, pubs and again pubs and no sign from the locals ! At 7.00 PM, we left the center of town, direction the stadium. Police were everywhere and nervous. When we arrived at the stadium, policemen were equally numbered to us, amazing. A water-pump, dogs, horses etc. We had tickets but the PSG didn't let us inside the stadium. We returned to town. About 25 stewards with weapons looked at us and provoked us behind the gate. Were they kidding ??? Near the stadium, a few parisians had a little fight with the locals. At midnight, we were informed that 25 locals were in town and were looking for us. We did the same, in little groups. Five PSG old lads had a toe to toe with 5 locals. Paris won easily. One of them was beaten up. Now, cops were everywhere in town. We finally saw the locals in their bar. After a discusion with them, they proposed a fight 30 vs 30 because 40 other slovan hools were band from the stadium. At 1.00 AM, we didn't understand why ? A new deception for the PSG firm abroad...
