| RC Genk - FC Bruges - 18/04/1999
Source: Soccer Fans
About 200 FC Brugge hools went to this transfer. The appointment took place in the nearby city of Hasselt (all with cars). At about 18H30 the group went to Genk, and met there a group of about 100 Genk fans in front of their pub. No policemen were present, and incidents lasted for about 15 minutes before the reinforcment came. Some shop windows were damaged and there were also light wounded. The group of FC Brugge then managed to force the stadium entrance (without any tickets, as only a few tickets were allowed to Brugge supporters). After the game, as Genk fans knew where the Brugge cars were parked, they damaged several, and even set fire to one. In total about 60 Brugge fans were arrested (freed just after thee game). _________________

| Standard Liège - RSC Anderlecht - 02/05/1999
Source: Soccer Fans
This was a high risk game this sunday in Liège. Standard's fans were trying during the whole week to take an appointment with their ennemies but the O-Side have never really answered. So, a little group of hell-side decided to wate for Anderlecht's supporters, on a bridge at the bottom of the highway. They have stopped two busses of Anderlecht and attacked it. There were a fight during about ten minutes : 15 hell side against 70 o side. After these ten minutes the 15 hell side went to their cars. During the game, some standard's fans went on the pitch because their team was suffering a very bad defeat. It was 0-4 at the half time. During the second time, standard hools gathered near their pub and decided what to do for after the game. Their tried to go the bridge near the highway but they could't manage. Anderlecht players' bus was atacked by standard fans who throwed some stones. One more time, O-side didn't come after the match to meet standard's hools ... They have just broken some car's windows to celebrate the victory ...
It was a very bad day for Standard's fans : a 0-6 defeat against their ennemies of always !!!
Hell-Side Standard -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've just read what the Standard mobs wrote about this game. And the truth is : it's exact that before the game it was a clash between +- 15 Standard lads and some Anderlechts supporters. But it wasn¹t against the Brussels Firm. It was against simple fans ! !! When we saw that punch up (we came by cars not by bus and it happened 150 m far to us) we step out our cars and we made a charge and when the Standard lads saw us they ran away to fear ! ! ! (remember the red car). After the game we made a appointment with the Hell-side. We had to stay on a parking (+-100 lads) to wait to them. During this time we tried to reach them by phone but nobody answered ! ! After waiting more than 45 minutes the police asked us to go back to Brussels. So we left Liège without confrontation.

| AC Fiorentina - Lazio Roma - 15/05/1999
Source: Soccer Fans
Clashes between Lazio fans and police began just arrived at Termini station of Rome while the fans were trying to get on the train. The train was too small for the thousand of ultras that the game called: Lazio fans are not so special regarding the number of people on their away games but this time they went in Florence with 10000 supporters. While trying to enter the train under the view of the police, someone threw a firework (torcia) against them and then clashes erupted. The police had to make use of teargas inside the station while Lazio fans were throwing against them the stones that you find in the railroad. After these disorders the ultras got on the train and left Rome for Florence. Termini station is now seriously damaged. Once arrived in Florence and after the complete destruction of their special train, Lazio supporters made a fire inside a wagon of the train. They left it and after sometime, in which police took their documents, they arrived at the stadium with more than 30' of delay. During the match Fiorentina fans tried to enter thr pitch to reach Lazio fans but they didn't reach their aim. Lazio fans too tried to reach Fiorentina fans and also began to throw against them everything they had. Some fireworks arrived in Lazio supporters sector and an explosive one reached even Fiorentina player Heinrich who went down on the pitch for some minutes. After the match many Lazio fans not with organized groups (not ultras...) reached their cars outside the stadium. One car has been attacked by Viola fans and they destroyed it. The driver went outside the car and a Fiorentina fan stabbed him at an arm. Immediately Lazio ultras got out of the stadium to make contact with other ultras. A viola fan has been stabbed in the stomach and went to the hospital. After these facts everything returned calm and Lazio fans got back in Rome. _________________

| AS Roma - Cagliari - 16/05/1999
Source: Soccer Fans
Comments by a AS Roma Ultra :
"During the match we didn't show our "striscioni-flag" against this fact [incidents before the game with police] and, at the beginning of the 2nd half, clashes erupted outside Curva Sud. Some charges were made against police and against AS Roma supporters. Outside our sector there were almost 300 ultras fighting against police and they had to use teargas to make us go away. We keep on charging, throwing object, throwing "torcie-fireworks" and we also used a water pump of the firemen to make police go out the sector. Once they were out of the Curva we made some barricades to close them outside and we destroyed everything we saw just outside the Curva, to make police come in again. We also destroyed a police car wich remained inside the sector, and we attacked a light police bus who was yet running inside our sector making it go out. When the match ended and people began to go out the situation returned calm and we melt with other people." _________________

| AGF Aarhus - Brondby IF - 20/05/1999
Source: Soccer Fans
A day full of disappointments from SouthSide United. A firm of about 50 Aarhus GF hools (White pride) was drinking together before the match, and called Southside about 10 times on their mobilephones to hear where we should meet. Southside wouldnt tell us anything about where they was and where we could meet, and they where obviously not interested in meeting us this day. No doubt that we would have won a fight, because Southside was not as many people as usual, but it would have been a much more proudly defeat, if they had tried to fight their chances, instead of hiding. We also tried to arrange a meeting after the match, but then it was to late, because the police followed both group very close. It was not only a big defeat to Southside United, it was also a big defeat to the whole hooligan-scene in Denmark, which must have lost all kind of respect outside our country. As a AGF-hool writing to people who didnt know anything about the gameit would easy for me to lie, but this was really what happend, and im looking forward to hear what SSU have to say. 8 people were arrested this day. _________________

| FC Antwerp - FC Turnhout - 20/05/1999
Source: belgian press
This game was of a capital importance for the return in the first Belgian division. The result says it all.. and as a consequence, heavy incidents occured after the game, all made by Antwerp hools. They managed to enter a "neutral" free zone, near the Turnhout fans. As works are being done to the Antwerp stadium, many material could be used against the police forces. 13 policemen were wounded, of which 2 are still in heavy conditions. The next game of Antwerp at home, which should have been played this week-end, has just been canceled by the local authorities for evident security meajures, as the stadium seems not to be safe enough. _________________

Source: Soccer Fans
After the match the Go Ahead Eagles hools (vak O and B-Side) waited outside for the busses from fc Zwolle. There was a line with riot police. They had to seperate the busses from the Deventer Hooligans. But over 60 hools made the jump to the other side and the police had to guide the busses in a other direction. Otherwise the busses were totally destroyed by the 60 hooligans. But in the new direction there were also about 130 hooligans to wait for the busses. Everyting was throwing at the busses. Bricks, bottles, just everyting in the area. All the busses were damaged, a lot of windows were bruised. Just 7 people were arrested. _________________

| Djurgarden IF - Hammarby IF - 30/05/1999
Source: Soccer Fans
Trouble statred after the game when Hammarby fans wernt allowed out, the fence holding them in was torn down and Hammarby fans spilled out into the streets, attacking the police. The police were being taunted about two cops being killed in Sweden last week, it didnt go down so well, but they seemed to scared to attack back. Much hatred was vented towards the Djurgården fans, they were attacked on the subway, and stations leading to the centre of town. A meet was supposed to happen between both sets of fans in the south of town, pre-arranged. But ones who were present seen no sign of Djurgårdens hooligans at all.
Lately in Stockholm, trouble between the three sets of fans, Hammarby, Djugården and AIK seems quite hostile. Djurgårdens hooligans smashed up a pub with AIK hooligans in it, last week, nothing to do with football, probably pre-arranged as well. Also a few weeks ago Djugårdens hooligans attacked one of Hammarbys pubs, beating up the door men, and smashing the windows, this was also nothing to do with games going on at the time.
In Göteborg last Monday Hammarby hooligans travelled in numbers of about 50, ultras 400, ran rampage through the town and left a Göteborg hooligan almost dead, some Hammarby are still locked up in Göteborg for this incident. The AIK-Hammarby game on May 4th seen similar incidents, with both sets of hooligans turning tricks with the police, breaking windows, fighting in subway etc, etc Malmö didnt get qutie a good reception in Stockholm from the Hammarby fans either, two weeks ago, as well. Stockholm is a bubbling, Stockholm is a bubbling. By the way Hammarby lost both city derbys, 2-0 and 1-0 respectively, this is why they are so pissed, looks like they are going down after last seasons near success, but the UEFA cup awaits them, and so does some unlucky fuckers. _________________

| Finland - Turkey - 05/06/1999
Source: Soccer Fans
Before the game
ca. 100 Finish hools gathered near stadium, drinking alcohols, singing and waiting for the Turkish supporters. About 1 hour before the kick off, the Turkish arrived and Finnish hools started to sing Öcalan and P.K.K. songs, throwing bottles and stones on the Turkish supporters. Before the arrival of the police, Finish hools attacked Turkish, which leads several minor injuries for both sides. Situation calmed down and Finish stayed under heavy police control and also the police denied entry for the most well-known trouble makers.
During the game
In the 37th minute, ca. 10 Kurdish demonstrators made pitch invasion with the pictures of their leader Abdullah Öcalan and the flags of P.K.K., also some Finish supporters tried to join them. Game stopped for 10 minutes and police arrested all who went on the pitch. Police drove several cars between the pitch and the stands, which just made the angry finish hools and supporters more angry. Stones, bottles and all kind of missiles started to fly on the police and their cars. Some fires were set up on the stands and also fireworks were used against police. The police was helpless agains the angry finns, and the police didnt manage to calm supporters. According the police, the were tens of fights between finns hools, supporters, skinheads, kurdish, turkish and security guards, who were all mixed up in some part of stands.
After the game
Stadium was tried to set on fire at least from two different stands by angry finns. Finish hools waited for Turkish, who came under heavy escort by the mounted police. Again some bottles were thrown on the Turkish supporters, but this time the police was efficient and managed to arrest all biggest trouble makers. _________________
