C1: the PSG-Dortmund meeting worries the authorities

After its defeat against Nice this Friday in Ligue 1 at the Parc des Princes (2-3) – its first of the season – PSG is obliged to bounce back on Tuesday for its entry into the Champions League (9:00 p.m.) . For this, a big piece awaits the Ile-de-France club: Borussia Dortmund.

A poster which also worries the French authorities. The newspaper The Team reports this Saturday that the meeting was classified as a level 3 risk, that is to say that it is similar to a risk of disturbances to public order. 2,500 German supporters are expected in Paris for this trip, including 300 ultras including around sixty hooligans.

Police intervention at Herbolzheim station

Around 250 BVB fans were arrested by police on their way to Freiburg. This was preceded by a conflict with 80 Hamburger SV supporters. The fight took place in an underpass at Mannheim central station around 10:35 a.m.

France ‍: FC Nantes fires an undesirable - 16/09/2023

The head of security at FC Nantes, under investigation, was dismissed by the Western club.

His situation at FC Nantes was clearly no longer tenable. In conflict with the Brigade Loire supporters group and the club administration, David Amaré was relieved of his duties as Director of Security, a little over two months after his arrival.

“This decision was taken in particular in accordance with the request of the High Authority for transparency in public life”, explains the FCN in a press release.

This police officer is also under investigation by the IGPN (General Inspectorate of the National Police) for “illegal taking of interests”, indicated, among other things, France Blue Loire Ocean.

Former member of territorial intelligence, David Amaré had been investigating the Nantes ultras movement for years.

Goalkeeper targeted by missiles thrown by Crawley fans during game

A "large group" of home supporters were seen throwing flares on to the pitch at Rovers' goalkeeper Luke McGee.

In a statement, the club apologised and said it was starting an investigation.

The game was almost abandoned due to the incident in the stadium's South Terrace, which happened after Crawley's 61st-minute equaliser.

The club says it expects to receive sanctions in the coming weeks which it says will put it under "significant financial stress".

It could also mean stand closures or points deductions for the team.

In the statement, the club added: "It is exceedingly disappointing, and now concerning that these select groups, who do not represent the wider fan base, continue to let the club down in this way."

Anyone found to be involved in throwing missiles would be indefinitely banned from Broadfield Stadium, Crawley said.

Austria: Searches of hooligans “Unsterblich Wien” - 16/09/2023

Seven searches took place at the homes of hooligans belonging to the small far-right group “Unsterblich Wien”. This group has been banned from stadiums at Austria Wien since 2013, and maintains good relations with the Spanish Ultras Sur and the French Kop Of Boulogne.

Since spring 2022, the Directorate of State Security and Intelligence (DSN) has been investigating members of this group.

On Wednesday, numerous Nazi memorabilia, weapons and mobile phones were seized during 7 searches ordered by the Vienna public prosecutor's office, as the Interior Ministry announced on Friday. 13 hooligans were arrested.

Denmark: Police intervention against Brøndby hooligans - 10/09/2023

On Saturday, the police were called following a violent clash in Albertslund.

A group of 200 hooligans from Brøndby clashed with a rival group. Several Copenhagen police officers had to be called to separate the two groups and have them escorted.

According to the police director, the fights between the two groups took place at the Albertslund Center and the Musical Theater. Although the fighting had apparently calmed down by the time the police arrived, the atmosphere remained extremely tense.

Police currently have no information on the motive for the incident.

Back from Fribourg, the train carrying around 250 TSV 1860 supporters broke down following a technical fault.
After half an hour of waiting, the atmosphere became electric on board the train, the supporters started hiting the windows and doors, which ended up opening, pouring the angry fans onto the rails. They then threw stones and bottles at the train. The police had to intervene.

Before the game, the hundred supporters of Montpellier were blocked by the police, outside the Meinau stadium.

The CRS ended up letting the Hérault followers in slowly, at kick-off, only because the ultras of the MHSC were beginning to threaten to escape to go follow the match in town. Upon entering the parking lot reserved for visiting supporters, the Strasbourg fans greeted their counterparts with a song of support, with the evocative message: “Freedom for the ultras”

After fifteen minutes of play, the Montpellier supporters had finally all entered the Strasbourg stadium.

Fedayn Roma revival

Last year, after the match against the Tuscans, the historic group was ambushed by Serbian ultras. It was 4 February 2023 and the historic Curva Sud group lost all its banners, which were then burnt in Belgrade by Red Star hooligans (only Roberto Rulli's was returned).

The Gruppo Quadraro was born, a reference to the district of the capital where the Fedayn were founded. Despite the events of a few months ago, the Giallorossi ultras never left the stands and continued to follow the team home and away.

Clashes before Olbia-Torres, fights between ultras: video released

The security arrangements were extensive, but they were not enough to prevent tension between supporters ahead of the derby between Olbia and Torres. Now a video has surfaced of scuffles near the Bruno Nespoli stadium, with firecrackers being thrown.

The Sassari supporters were checked by the police but, according to the reconstruction, a small group managed to make their way through the streets of Olbia, arriving at the scene of the clash with the hosts.

During the clash, one of the ultras suffered the worst of it, ending up in hospital.
