A 39-year-old OM supporter from Donges in Loire-Atlantique was attacked by Nantes supporters.

The firefimen intervened. The 39-year-old man had to be urgently evacuated from the Océane stand and transported to the Laennec hospital, which depends on the Nantes University Hospital. Some Rapid fans, members of Peluza Nord, were blocked at the entrance to the Giulești stadium. According to the police, they were provided with nominative tickets which did not correspond to the individuals.

Finally, the supporters were allowed to enter the stadium, after reaching an agreement with the gendarmerie.

During the match, a fight broke out between Rapid fans. The player Săpunaru intervened to separate them.


Those from Dinamo were refused their tifo. As a result, many Utras refused to enter the stadium. The club requested explanations from the gendarmerie.

Police then started using batons and swinging towards people hitting one in the head. They even pepper sprayed so the whole place was smelling and some even evacuated because they had hard to breath without masks.

An impressive public order service ensured that the derby between Parma and Reggiana at the Stadio Tardini on Saturday avoided clashes between supporters, but there were moments of tension and rioting.

According to the Parma police headquarters, the operations to accompany the Reggio Emilia ultras were particularly complex. Around 1,250, coming from Reggio Emilia with various rail convoys which, due to technical problems and overcrowding, experienced considerable delays in arriving at Parma station, which is currently being renovated.

Around 2 kilometres from the station, 200 ultras pulled on the emergency brake as they made their way down the embankment towards the centre and the stadium on foot, in order to escape the controls in place at the station and make contact with the Parma supporters.

The swift intervention of the police and carabinieri blocked the attempt and took the visiting fans back to the car park behind the station for their subsequent transfer to the stadium under surveillance.

At the same time, the police blocked an attempt by local supporters to approach the station.

During the match, smoke bombs were thrown inside the stadium, incidents which are currently being investigated in order to identify those responsible for reporting them to the judicial authorities and adopting the corresponding administrative provisions banning access to places where sporting events are held.

Police in Thessaloniki arrest two soccer fans during security checks

Police arrested two soccer fans during security checks prior to the soccer match between Aris and Asteras Tripolis at Thessaloniki’s Kleanthis Vekelidis stadium on Sunday.

According to the police, a 37-year-old and a 19-year-old were apprehended because they were found in possession of a folding knife and pepper spray, respectively.

They have been charged with violations of sports and weapons laws and will be referred to the prosecutor for criminal prosecution.

These checks were conducted as part of the measures introduced following the fatal stabbing of an AEK soccer fan by hooligans in the Athens suburb of Nea Filadelfia last month.
