11 Turkish fans arrested in Bruges

Many Turkish supporters made the trip to the city of Bruges.

Local police made 11 administrative arrests. Numerous pyrotechnic devices as well as equipment containing explosive substances were confiscated.







A total of 27 Turks were arrested.
At the end of the game, some troubles have opposed supporters from both teams in the stadium.

Six Catalan police officers injured after clashes with Antwerp fans - 21/09/2023

Six officers from the Catalan police were injured on Tuesday evening in violent clashes with fans of Antwerp, who were playing their first Champions League match against Barcelona, several Spanish media outlets have reported.



A large group of fans made their way to the stadium before the match, and it was reported that some of them attacked the police.

The incidents occurred at around 20:00 north of Barcelona's Olympic Stadium, where the match was taking place. Fans reportedly threw bottles, cobblestones and chairs at police officers.

One of the police officers was seriously injured and suffered a fractured arm, according to the Spanish newspaper El Nacional.

Five other officers suffered minor injuries. The Catalan police, in collaboration with their Belgian colleagues, have launched an investigation to identify those responsible.

Michalis Katsouris: 9 Dinamo Zagreb hooligans arrested for the murder in Athens  - 23/09/2023

According to the website Jutarnji List, the arrests were made under a European Arrest Warrant issued after the murderous attack by Croatian hooligans in the Athens neighbourhood of Nea Philadelphia on August 7.

Five of the hooligans were arrested on Friday and taken to the headquarters of the Croatian Federation in Zagreb.

As the Croatian website reports, the arrests were made after the European warrant issued by the Greek authorities and not after an investigation by the Croatian police into the case.

The European warrant was for ten people, with the tenth still wanted by Croatian police.

The murder of Michalis Katsouris happened on 7 August 2023 during hooligan riots between a joint coalition of Bad Blue Boys of Dinamo Zagreb and Gate 13 of Panathinaikos, who engaged in conflict with AEK Athens supporters.

Bad Blue Boys, arrived to Nea Philadelphia, Greece, in spite of UEFA's ban and attacked AEK Athens fans with the help of local Gate 13 supporters with whom they share friendly relations.

During the course of riots AEK fan Michalis Katsouris was fatally stabbed in his arm and bled out as a result.

A Union Berlin ultras group have claimed the Spanish police used pepper spray and batons on fans outside the Bernabeu on Tuesday.

WHAT HAPPENED? 'The Hammerheads,' a Union Berlin ultras group, have released a statement describing their experience in and around the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday after clashes took place between fans of the German outfit - who made their Champions League debut against Real Madrid - and the Spanish police, who they say were violent in their methods of crowd control.

WHAT THEY SAID: The full statement can be found on the group's website, but the highlights certainly don't make for good reading: "The Spanish police set their rules and had the ability to enforce them. It quickly became clear that she was familiar with the topic of 'glorification of violence.' The announcements came energetically in Spanish and immediately followed by the stick. Not to threaten, but to use it at head height in a cooperating crowd. In the course of all the measures, there was a completely surprising use of highly irritating pepper oil with no apparent aim, only to incapacitate as many people as possible. The cops then demonstrated their true power by pointing shotguns filled with rubber bullets in their front rows."

THE BIGGER PICTURE: To make things worse for those Union Berlin fans who had experienced such scenes outside of the ground, their hearts were broken as Jude Bellingham netted a 94th-minute winner for the hosts, snatching what would have been a famous point away from those travelling German fans.

Ajax vs Feyenoord Klassieker suspended as fans throw fireworks onto the pitch with Amsterdam-based giants 3-0 down

The game was suspended at one stage as missiles rained down from the stands, making it impossible for the match to continue due to the threat posed to player safety. It was decided to continue after a brief delay, but a second suspension was required as flares continued to land on the playing surface.

F-Side supporters then gathered in front of the main entrance to the stadium, which they attempted to force.
Groups of hooligans turned on the police and threw fireworks and stones. Riot police and cavalry moved in and charged. Tear gas was also used.
