Bayern Munich file UEFA complaint over Madrid police ‘attack’ - 19/04/2017
Source: http://www.hindustantimes.com/
Bayern Munich accused Spanish police of “violent attacks” on their supporters during the Champions League defeat at Real Madrid and filed a complaint with UEFA on Wednesday. The German club said police action on Tuesday during half time at the Santiago Bernabeu was “completely misplaced and excessive” and have requested an explanation from Spanish authorities. Eye-witnesses said that riot police stormed the visitors’ section of the ground to remove a banner, which led to Bayern fans attacking officers, who replied in kind. About 4,500 Bayern fans travelled to watch the Germans bow out 6-3 on aggregate, after going down on the night 4-2 in extra time in the quarter-final second leg.

Lyon and Besiktas hit with suspended European competition bans and £84,000 fines by UEFA for crowd trouble in Europa League clash - 19/04/2017
Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/
Lyon and Besiktas have been handed suspended bans from European competition following the crowd disturbances which marred their Europa League match last Thursday. Tension between rival supporters in the east-central French city spilled into the Parc OL before the scheduled 2005 BST kick-off time, with a barrage of projectiles from the upper tiers forcing fans on to the pitch and casting the viability of the fixture into doubt. The trouble eventually abated and the teams were able to start the game 45 minutes later than planned, with Lyon recovering to beat the Turkish champions 2-1 in the quarter-final's first leg.
UEFA subsequently launched action against both clubs and on Wednesday - a little over 24 hours before the second leg in Istanbul - announced bans for both clubs, suspended for two years. The clubs have also been fined 100,000 euros (£84,000) each, UEFA said. A UEFA control, ethics and disciplinary body (CEBD) statement said Lyon's charges were 'related to crowd disturbances, setting off of fireworks, stairways blocked, insufficient organisation and field invasion by supporters after their second goal'. The charges against Besiktas were 'related to crowd disturbances, setting off of fireworks and throwing of objects'. The statement added: 'Based on the official reports and the current available evidence at the disposal of the UEFA disciplinary bodies, the CEDB has considered that the supporters of both clubs were responsible for the crowd disturbances at the match.'
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas was seen urging supporters to calm down and return to their seats at the time, but following full-time the 68-year-old claimed there had been no choice but to 'flee'. He told L'Equipe: 'There were many who were wounded but who did not want to sit back down immediately because of pride. 'Because of the firecrackers, some had suffered severe injuries. There were a number of firecrackers that exploded over our fans' heads so they had only one option, to flee onto the pitch.
'It was fortunate that they invaded it, otherwise they would have been trapped by the Turkish fans. 'Some of those did not have tickets. 'It was a very difficult experience, but it was up to me to take responsibility, otherwise we would not have been able to play.'

Four policemen injured after violent clashes with APOEL Nicosia fans
Cyprus police say two men have been arrested following violent clashes in the stands during a Cypriot Cup quarterfinal match with light injuries for four policemen. Police said Thursday that officers had to use tear gas to subdue APOEL Nicosia fans, who threw plastic seats at them and let off flares, as they accompanied firefighters trying to put out a fire started in a stadium washroom. The two arrested men, aged 21 and 37, also suffered minor injuries. The violence erupted midway through Wednesday's match at host AEL Limassol.

Disgusting proof soccer hooligans have gone too far
A group of Danish football hooligans opted for furry ammunition at Monday’s Copenhagen Derby. Brondby supporters found a way to sneak dead rats into Copenhagen’s home stadium, then launched the beasts onto the field late in the second half as Copenhagen’s Ludwig Augustinsson was preparing to take a corner kick. Augustinsson solicited the help of a teammate and the two kicked the rats off the field in disgust before resuming play. A security guard found a surprise of his own on the field, grabbing the lifeless rat by its tail and discarding it near the stands.

Two football fans, one cop hurt at Ajax vs Schalke match
Two fans and a police officer were injured around the Europa League quarter final match between Ajax and Schalke 04 at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on Thursday, the German police said in a statement. There were also 129 arrests and charges filed against 49 people. The police did not say whether the injured fans were Dutch or German.
Despite the arrests and injuries, the German police are satisfied with the evening. "Despite isolated incidents and clashes in the run up to the match, the peaceful supporters of both clubs showed how a violence free and spirited quarter final in the Europa League can look", the Gelsenkirchen police said in the statement. Ajax lost the thrilling match 3-2. Schalke scored a goal in extra time and the Amsterdam team scored two. The very late goals see Ajax through on aggregate into the Europa League semis. An Ajax fan was arrested in Gelsenkirchen during the early hours of Thursday morning. He emptied a fire extinguisher in his hotel room and then through it out the window, Het Parool reports.

Bolton vs Port Vale suspended after fans fought on the pitch before referee led players away from violent scenes
The League One clash between Bolton and Port Vale was suspended this afternoon after fans from both sides fought on the pitch. Visiting supporters were celebrating David Wheater's opening goal when they spilled on to the field, believing the header would take them back to the Championship.
Home fans took the opportunity to confront them, forcing police to intervene. Referee Carl Boyeson then led the teams off the pitch for around 10 minutes. When the match resumed, Gary Madine doubled Phil Parkinson's side's lead but results elsewhere mean Bolton will have to wait to have their promotion confirmed.
Port Vale supporters club vice-chairman Mark Porter told the Stoke Sentinel: "Bolton fans went onto the pitch after they scored - and some Vale fans also went onto the pitch. "I don't think you can condone going onto the pitch whatever club you support - whether you are ecstatic at going up or frustrated at going down.
"It should not be seen in football. I was watching people with children leaving. It has been a frustrating season and this has just put the dampeners on it really and capped it all off.
"These are the kind of scenes we thought had gone decades ago in football." The Wanderers are second in the table, 14 points behind champions Sheffield United but two points clear of Fleetwood.

AS Saint-Etienne - Rennes - 23/04/2017
Source : http://www.goal.com/
Thousands of ultras invade stadium during Saint-Etienne fixture being played behind closed doors
Saint-Etienne’s home date with Rennes in Ligue 1 was temporarily suspended as thousands of ultras broke into a fixture supposed to be played behind closed doors. Fans were barred from attending the fixture following trouble during a meeting with Lyon in February. An employee of Saint-Etienne was injured during that contest, with missiles thrown onto the pitch from the terraces.
The decision to impose a stadium ban was initially appealed, although that claim to the LFP was later withdrawn. Further troubled flared, though, during a fixture which should have taken place in front of empty stands, with supporters forcing their way past security.
Referee Ruddy Buquet was forced to remove the players from the field in the 16th minute. After a 15-minute break, the fans left and the match was able to resume. Those who had made their way into the ground did leave quietly, but could still be heard offering their support to Saint-Etienne from outside the stadium.

Dynamo Kiev - Shakhtar Donetsk - 21/04/2017

'100% white' Dynamo Kiev ultras in KKK masks launch horrific ‘white frenzy’ demo over rivals Shakhtar Donetsk’s black players
DYNAMO KIEV fans launched a disgraceful racist demonstration against Shakhtar Donetsk over the number of black players – with some vile supporters wearing Ku Klux Klan masks. The club’s ultras dressed in all white costumes with hoods like those of the the KKK.
A number even wore white masks as they waved white flags around the stadium and directed sickening abuse at Shakhtar players.
Some supporters had swastikas drawn on their costumes as trouble broke about between the two sets of fans. Dynamo's racist fans are not happy that their opposition team featured a number of black players.
And their group of hooligans reportedly planned the arrangement for a large number of fans to wear white, their team colours, which they called "white frenzy". On the eve of the match they took to Twitter to release a video message urging the home fans to prepare for the "#whitefrenzy". They also unveiled a huge banner in the stands which translates to "100 per cent white." Flares were lit in the stands and thrown in the crowds in both the home and away sections as Shakhtar claimed a 1-0 victory.
A Uefa inspector was also in attendance to watch the action unfold as he continued to survey the readiness of the stadium which is set to host the 2018 Champions League final. And it is not the first time Dynamo fans have launched a racially aggravated attack against league leaders Shakhtar. In 2013 a group of fans had a photo taken next to Shakhtar's team bus dressed as KKK members. Two years later Dynamo fans were condemned when they were filmed brutally attacking four black supporters during a home Champions League match against Chelsea.
