Match marred by crowd violence

Several dozen CSKA fans invaded the pitch and clashed with police in the closing stages of the game following a disallowed goal.
Referee Stanislav Todorov stopped the match for several minutes as fans received medical aid at the touchline. Police are still to announce how many people were arrested.

Before the game a mob of Fortuna lads, some with weapons, charged a firm of 15-20 Bayern supporters.
Only a small number of policemen at this time.

7 people detained after Dinamo fans riot

Seven people were detained after clashes between Dinamo Bucharest fans and police after Dinamo lost 2-0 to FC Brasov, police said Monday.

Supporters were angry about Sunday's home loss, which meant Dinamo can't win the Romanian championship this season.

About 200 fans tried to force their way into the changing room after the loss to confront the players, police said. They lobbed stones and other objects at riot police, who responded with tear gas to repel the supporters, police spokesman Marius Militaru said.

League leader FC Unirea has 69 points with only one round left, four points ahead of Dinamo and eight clear of Timisoara.

Meanwhile, Dinamo executive chairman Cristian Borcea was taken to a hospital after cutting himself when he broke a window at the club following the defeat.

Bees condemn pitch invasion

Brentford's acting chief executive officer David Heath has slammed the fans who invaded the pitch after Saturday's curtain-closing victory over Luton.
The invasion, which came at the full-time whistle of the 2-0 win, prevented Andy Scott's title-winning side doing a lap of honour and the club has been inundated with complaints from other supporters.
Heath said in a statement on the club's website: "Brentford Football Club are very disappointed that people decided to encroach on to the playing surface from the Ealing Road terrace thus not allowing the players to complete a lap of honour.
"We maintain that the correct number of stewards were deployed but due to the exuberance and sheer number of those who wanted to invade the pitch, the stewards were unfortunately powerless to stop them."

Its stated that 2 fans were severely injured and transfered to the ER after the 2 firms clashed in the settlement few blocks from stadium, exchanging missiles and getting into contact. One car was damaged and there were couple of more injured fans.

Valenciennes - Lyon - 02/05/2009

Fights erupted in Saint-Amand (20 km from Valenciennes) between 120 Lyon lads and local youth immigrants. A local was injured after he was hit with a bottle. Police intervened and used tear gas. After that, police escorted Lyon lads to the train for Valenciennes. Some local youths threw stones on to the train.
