Ultras clashes on the motorway, scuffles between Spal and Monza fans The clashes took place in the Bisenzio Ovest service area on the A1. Investigations underway
Clashes between ultras on the motorway. They occurred in the early afternoon of today, Sunday, 21 January, in the Bisenzio Ovest service area on the A1. The protagonists of the scuffles were about 30 Spal fans who were on their way to Perugia for today's match and about 200 supporters of Monza who were instead heading to Empoli.
According to the Questura di Firenze, the Spal fans arrived at the service area at the same time as the Monza supporters, who arrived in two coaches escorted by the police. The members of the two different ultras groups would then come into contact.
The two groups of supporters also clashed by throwing bottles and other objects found on the spot. According to the Questura di Firenze (Florence Police Headquarters), there were no particular problems and the situation returned to normal in a short time.

Hooligans force suspension of Alphamega stadium match President's intervention fails to prevent football match disruption
The events that unfolded on the evening of Wednesday, January 24, at Limassol's ''Alphamega'' stadium during the football match between Apollon and AEL have exposed the authorities as powerless. Despite efforts by political leaders, the Cyprus Football Association, and the police, they were unable to control the hooligans, and once again, fan violence took center stage.
Intervention by Christodoulides - The game was suspended Following the intervention of the President of the Republic and the Minister of Justice, the decision was made to suspend the football match between Apollon and AEL.
Mr. Christodoulides promptly contacted Justice Minister Mario Hartzis after the initial disturbances. Subsequently, Mr. Hartzis spoke with the match's chief police officer, directly inquiring if he could guarantee a smooth progression of the match, given the events that occurred about ten minutes before kickoff.
According to Presidential sources, the police official responded negatively, leading the minister to instruct him to convey this to the referee. Consequently, the referee decided to postpone the match.
On Monday, January 22, several measures were announced to combat fan violence
- Strengthening law enforcement measures at matches and conducting thorough checks on all those entering sports venues by the police. The police now have the authority to determine the arrival time of fans for specific matches. - Reviewing the operation of Fan Clubs nationwide and issuing closure orders where necessary. - In cases where concerns arise about the safe conduct or continuation of a match, the police will apply existing legislation and recommend non-commencement or interruption.
Just twenty-four hours later, we witnessed disgraceful scenes, including an exchange of "fire" outside the stadium, fans invading the playing area, and flares and fireworks in the stands, endangering lives.
Street battles and fireworks outside the stadium
Hooligans created a war-like scene outside the stadium, revealing their intentions an hour before the match as they threw stones, flares, fireworks, and other dangerous objects. The situation briefly calmed down with the intervention of the police force, and the anti-riot vehicle "Ajax" also appeared outside the stadium.
Disgrace and chaos
The climax of the disturbances occurred just minutes before kickoff when AEL fans invaded the playing area, throwing fireworks towards the stands where Apollon fans were located. A poignant image captured by the camera showed a firework landing next to small children, causing terror.

Police launch investigation after Chelsea and Middlesbrough fans violently brawl in London following the Blues' 6-1 triumph at Stamford Bridge - with punches thrown and no officers in sight after the Carabao Cup semi-final
An investigation has been launched by police after a violent brawl involving Chelsea and Middlesbrough fans shocked the streets of London on Tuesday night.
Shortly after the Blues' triumph over the Championship club, a group of supporters were filmed violently fighting in London.
Despite the chaotic screams and violent punches, there appeared to be little intervention from police during the video clip, which was posted to X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday.
The few stewards present seemed to be slow to intervene, but the trouble was quickly dispersed as fans took it upon themselves to force the travellers back.
In the footage, some Chelsea fans appeared to taunt visiting Middlesbrough supporters after it appeared that some present were looking for a fight.
Several scraps between fans broke out, before a group of men and women draped in Chelsea colours stepping into the fray to break up an attack on one of their fellow supporters.

two buses of Brest supporters attacked after the match at the Parc des Princes
As last November, after a match in Montpellier, buses of Brest supporters were attacked this Sunday evening while leaving a Ligue 1 stadium. “It is very serious what happened. passed, declared the general director of Stade Brestois, Pascal Robert. When we look at the impacts on the vehicle, we quickly understand the violence of the events. »
This time, it was while leaving the Parc des Princes where Brest had managed to snatch a draw (2-2) after being led 2-0 by PSG that the incident took place.
The Telegram evokes an attack “200 meters” from the Park “a priori without any police escort” accompanying the two supporters’ buses. The website of the Breton daily indicates “that one bus was able to leave towards Brest and the other remained at the dock, unable to get back on the road”.

While leaving the Parc des Princes, 150 or 200 meters after leaving the enclosure, the bus carrying around sixty supporters of the Celtic Ultras group was targeted.

Six people were injured on Saturday evening in Zurich during riots involving football fans on the eve of the Zurich derby FCZ-GC. Several tram windows were also shattered, according to municipal police.
According to initial police information, several dozen people attacked a tram at a station. The attackers were probably FCZ supporters. A group of GC supporters were on the tram.
The two groups then clashed physically. A resident told local broadcaster TeleZüri that stones had been thrown. Five people were taken to hospital, another received treatment on site. All of them have since been able to leave the hospital, police said on Sunday. The tram suffered damage of an as yet unknown amount.
The group of GC supporters had already been checked by the police two hours before the altercation. The police were alerted shortly after 9:30 p.m. that a large group of people, some partly hooded and some equipped with bars, were walking in the city center and had boarded a tram.
Several police patrols then stopped the tram and seized bars, batons, pepper sprays, knives and balaclavas. Police then ordered them to leave the perimeter.

An event that completely sums up the mindless actions of wannabe football hooligans came as Preston and Gillingham supporters clashed at London Euston train station on Saturday despite the two teams not playing each other.
Preston fans would have been on their way to Millwall for their Championship fixture, while the Gills were away to MK Dons. A video posted to social media showed the two sets of fans goading each other before fists were thrown and handbags ensued.
