Payet fires Marseille to fiery derby win after fans attack Lyon bus
Home supporters attacked the Lyon bus with stones, bottles and other projectiles on its way to the stadium, before visiting players were repeatedly bombarded with objects thrown from the crowd while taking corners during the match.
The Lyon team coach was left with two shattered windows by the pre-game ambush, with club president Jean-Michel Aulas threatening to pull his team out of the match if anything else happened.
"We were bombarded with stones, bottles and other projectiles. It's a disgrace, it's just sick," regional newspaper La Provence reported an unidentified passenger of the bus saying.
The match was also suspended for two minutes in the second half due to thick smoke billowing around the pitch, coming from pyrotechnics by the record Marseille crowd of 65,421.
Earlier in the evening, around 6,000 fans had gathered at a city beach to perform a short but boisterous ceremonial parade to celebrate Marseille's 120th anniversary.

Belgian football club opens investigation into racist incident after player left field in tears
The Belgian football club KV Mechelen will open an investigation into a fan who shouted derogatory racist slurs at Charleroi midfielder Marco Ilaimaharitra, resulting in him leaving the field in tears during the Belgian Pro League game on Sunday.
Ilaimaharitra reported the behaviour to the referee and the assistant referee, but they had both not heard anything. After he reacted to the fan while still on the field and protested to the referee, he received a yellow card. The incident resulted in chaos during the game after which Ilaimaharitra decided to leave the playing field.
“After the match, the delegate talked to him so that he could tell his story,” said Gert Van Dyck, the chairman of the supporters’ club and a member of the club’s board of directors, reports De Morgen. “We also contacted the Charleroi football club yesterday to apologize and to make it clear that we are going to do something about this,” he added.
This is one of the many racist incidents that have been happening during football games. Several weeks ago, a match between England and Bulgaria was stopped twice because the Bulgarian fans kept singing racist chants to English players. Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku has also complained before, after Italian fans made monkey sounds every time he got the ball.
“Everyone could see that the player was greatly affected. He indicated that there was one person who looked at him for a long time while doing a Hitler salute up to three times,” said Van Dyck on Radio 2. “We will ban him from our stadium. Our security people are busy analysing the images in order to be able to identify the man,” he added.
“If all players that fall victim to racism leave the field, clubs will start acting more strict,” said Frank Van Laeken, who wrote the book ‘Vuile Zwarte’ about racism in Belgian football, reports De Morgen. “I do not think the number of incidents is increasing, but our social sensitivity to them is getting bigger. Now it is finally reported about in the media, and that’s the beginning of a solution. Five years ago, this incident might have stayed under the radar,” he added.

Football hooligans in Groningen are going to protest for the preservation Zwarte Piet - 14/11/2019
Source : https://northerntimes.nl
The arrival of Sint Nicolaas on Saturday in Groningen is causing more and more tension
Earlier this week opponents of Zwarte Piet announced that they were going to protest, and now also football hooligans – the hard core of supporters of FC Groningen – say that they are going to take action on Saturday. These hooligans are for the preservation of a ‘real’ black Piet because they believe that it is an authentic Dutch tradition. Last year the police had to take action against these hooligans, who then acted very loudly and aggressively.
The group “The Hooligan Scene” has announced on Facebook to take action for Zwarte Piet during the Sinterklaas entry in Groningen on Saturday.
Last year there was a confrontation between hooligans and the activists of Kick Out Zwarte Piet (KOZP). On Facebook, the hooligans are calling on KOZP to stay home on Saturday and not to disturb the entry.
The KOZP campaigners have been assigned a section by the municipality on Emmaplein where they can demonstrate. Supporters of Zwarte Piet also have indicated that they will demonstrate, also on Emmaplein.

England : Colchester United fan banned after Cambridge violence - 14/11/2019
A COLCHESTER United supporter has been handed a three-year football banning order after being attempting to punch an officer before an away match.
Jon Harknett, 21, was arrested on the day the U's travelled to play Cambridge United earlier this year on March 30.
He ran towards a fight which was developing between opposing fans in Newmarket Road, Cambridge, shortly after 2pm as they all walked towards the Abbey Stadium.
He was stopped by an officer as he did so, but struggled free and threw a punch towards him before being arrested on suspicion of affray.
Harknett, of Spruce Avenue, Colchester, was then charged with using threatening words or behaviour and initially denied the offence.
However, he was convicted after standing trial at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
He was handed the football banning order and also fined a total of £1,500.
The order imposed prevents him from attending any football match in the UK, specifically including home and away U's games.
He must also surrender his passport when the England national team travel abroad, as well as during Euro 2020, which will be held all over Europe.
Mark Wood, Cambridgeshire Police's dedicated football officer, said people like Harknett gave football fans a bad name.
He said: “This type of anti-social behaviour tarnishes the reputation of the 99 per cent of supporters who just want to turn up and watch the match.
“There is no place for this behaviour anywhere and particularly not at football matches, which are family environments.”
The match ended in a dramatic 1-0 for Colchester United with Kane Vincent-Young snatching a late winner sparking jubilant scenes amongst travelling supporters who had behaved.
It is not the first time there have been flashpoints during the fixture.
A group of Colchester United supporting teens were handed banning orders after invading the pitch at The Abbey Stadium in March 2017.
They had mistakenly thought the U's had secured three points with a second goal only for it to be chalked off by the officials.

France : PSG ‘fans’ launched an assault on Marseille rapper Jul’s Paris concert last night - 13/11/2019
Source : https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/
As reported RMC Sport and Le Parisien, last night’s AccorHotels Arena concert by Marseille-based rapper Jul descended into violence that was rooted in football fan differences.
A police source informed the latter outlet that PSG fans broke into the event with firecrackers and displayed an anti-Marseille banner which read: “Marseille not welcome.” Towards the end of the concert, some general scuffles also broke out.
A police source had the following to say: “We had to deal with PSG fans coming to cause trouble with Marseille supporters, fans of the Marseille rapper Jul and the other concertgoers. They were identified before the concert, meeting in the metro, on the way to the Arena and inside the hall, thanks to the shirts of the teams that they were wearing and their respective scarves.”
The AccorHotels arena has published the following statement:
“The AccorHotels Arena last night faced a combination of unfortunate factors: falsified tickets, a number of alcoholic concertgoers, especially a group of pseudo-Ultra PSG supporters who came out to fight fans of the artist from Marseille, they integrated the crowd, causing unrest and bringing the security forces into action. These teams quickly regained control of the situation and caught the troublemakers to expel them. Other disruptors, who had valid tickets, attacked other concertgoers in a shameful way. In spite of some fights, order was reinstated by the security services.”
PSG’s main ultra group, the CUP, have since denounced the actions of these individuals.

Police investigating ‘disturbance’ at Rangers Colts vs Wrexham amid reports of fans being ‘battered with batons’
COPS are investigating a disturbance at today's match between Rangers Colts and Wrexham amid reports of fans being 'battered with batons'.
Several fans online suggested crowd trouble between Gers and Wrexham fans during the Tunnocks Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup clash.
We told you earlier how Wrexham fans trolled Light Blues supporters with Celtic scarves and banners during the game.
But according to several posts things took a serious turn near the end of the 90 minutes.
One Gers fan online said: "A thoroughly enjoyable youth team win against Wrexham senior team till absolute mayhem in my area of Govan stand.
"What brain surgeon decided to send six officers in to throw one guy out with a minute to go.
"What then transpired was an absolute disgrace and over the top policing which would not have been out of place in Russia.
"At least another 15- 20 0fficers waded in Batons drawn and folk being battered indiscriminately in an area with loads of really terrified young kids I had the foresight to duck others were not so lucky.
"Seen at least two very young taken away bleeding.
"This is at a youth game ffs.
"The officer I took my anger out on when leaving at least had the good grace to look embarrassed . Police Scotland a disgrace."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police are aware of a disturbance that occurred during the Rangers Colts versus Wrexham match at Ibrox Stadium on Saturday November 16.
"Enquires are ongoing."
A spokesman for Rangers said: "We are aware Police Scotland are investigating a number of issues. We will be kept informed."

Romania - Sweden - 16/11/2019

Racist abuse directed at Sweden's Isak in Romania qualifier
Romania fans marred a Euro 2020 qualifier with Sweden on Friday with racist chants against visiting Alexander Isak and a golf ball being thrown at the forward from the stands.
The 20-year-old Isak heard racist remarks but told the referee he did not have to interrupt the game.
"I don't think you should be influenced by such - sorry - idiots in this way," the Real Sociedad player told Swedish broadcaster SVT.
Italian match official Daniele Orsato, however, did shortly halt the game after a golf ball was thrown at Isak who entered the match as a late substitute.
"That takes away all the pleasantry from football," Sweden midfielder Emil Forsberg told SVT. "It's hard to be happy when something like that happens."
Forward Marcus Berg added it was "unbelievably sad, incomprehensible and inexcusable."
Romania were previously sanctioned for their fans' racist behaviour in qualifiers with Spain and Malta and can expect another sanction from European governing body UEFA.
