Celtic Glasgow - Ajax Amsterdam - 26/11/2015
Source : http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/
Two bars in Glasgow attacked by rampaging Ajax fans ahead of clash with Celtic at Parkhead
POCKETS of trouble flared ahead of Celtic’s fixture against Ajax tonight amid reports of two bars coming under attack.
Several pubs close to Celtic Park in Glasgow closed their shutters as small gangs of football fans - believed to be supporters of the Dutch club - ran amok outside.
Around 40 Ajax fans tried to storm the Hielan’ Jessie Bar around an hour before kick off.
It is believed it a similar incident took place at the Hoops Bar.
William Gold, owner of the Heilan’ Jessie said: “I saw a lad with a Celtic scarf running by shouting ‘They’re coming.’
“I looked out and saw a gang with no colours heading towards the pub. I didn’t like the look of them.
“They were aggressive and shouting. I got the shutters down just in time. The pub was busy.
“They gang were banging on the shutters trying to get it.
“It was scary for a while. It lasted about 10 mins. I don’t want to think what would have happened if we hadn’t got the shutters down.”
The bar boss said police officers “did a good job” removing the threatening fans.
An ambulance could be seen outside the Hoops Bar.
None of the staff or patrons would comment.
Police Scotland said four arrests were later made for public order offences at Celtic Park.
One supporter was arrested before the game, two inside the stadium and one after the match concluded.
Earlier around 300 Ajax fans were given a police escort to the stadium from the city centre.

England : Tranmere fan banned from football matches after attacking a police officer and steward at Wrexham game - 26/11/2015
Source : http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/
A Tranmere Rovers fan repeatedly shouted racial slurs and attacked both a police officer and a steward after being refused entry to last month’s match at Wrexham AFC.
Richard Taylor, 45, also told police “you lot deserve to be run over” - a threat they interpreted as being in relation to the death of Merseyside PC David Phillips a day earlier, which he denied.
Taylor appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Wednesday where he was hit with a four-year football banning order after pleading guilty to a total of five charges, which included racially aggravated common assault.
He was also charged with two counts of assault by beating and racially aggravated harassment/distress by words and using threatening/insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear.
The National League fixture held at the University of Glyndwr Stadium between rivals Wrexham AFC and Tranmere Rovers on October 6 finished 2-2 in front of 6,700 fans, of which 1,181 were away supporters.
Rob Blakemore, prosecuting, said Taylor, of Parkside Road, Tranmere, had been drinking prior to the match and told stewards he had lost his ticket when he was refused entry to the stadium.
As he was being escorted away, the defendant shouted anti-Welsh abuse and punched steward Daniel Lee Davies in the chest.
Taylor was then taken to the floor and restrained by police officers but continued to say it again.
The court heard he then told officers “you lot deserve to be run over” before kicking out at PC Gareth Duggan as he was handcuffed.
Taylor interrupted proceedings at this point to say that he would not have made any comment in relation to PC Phillips’ death.
Mr Blakemore continued with the evidence, saying the defendant then began shouting racist remarks.
He told the court that Taylor had said in police interview he didn’t remember the incident and believed his drink had been spiked in a pub before the game.
He added that he did not have any issues with Welsh or black people, or ethnic minorities.
Laura Preston-Hayes, defending, told the court her client’s ticket for the match had got wet, which was why he was denied entry and the situation then “escalated”.
She said Taylor had asked for a voluntary drugs test such was his concern at how he’d ended up in a police station.
Ms Preston-Hayes told the court he was “embarrassed” to be before them, but accepted the police officers must be right and apologised for his behaviour.
She said “racial slurs is not him”, adding: “He has very strong connections to Wales.”
Taylor was banned from football stadiums in England and Wales for a four year period, and must surrender his passport for overseas games.
He was issued with a 12-month community order, a six-month curfew from 7pm until 7am, and ordered to pay £325 costs.

No away fans in France until mid-December, says League - 26/11/2015
Source : http://www.thestar.com.my
Away fans will be banned from top football matches in France until mid-December with the country in a state of emergency following the Paris attacks and because of the forthcoming Climate Summit in the capital.
"The Interior Ministry has issued an order banning away fans for the 15th round of Ligue 1 matches, and the 16th round of matches of Ligue 2, this weekend," the French League (LFP) said in a statement on Thursday.
"Another order, with the same provisions, will be issued very soon regarding the 16th, 17th, 18th rounds of Ligue 1, the 17th and 18th rounds of Ligue 2, the eighth round of the French Cup and the round of the Europa League (Dec. 8 and 10).
"These decisions are justified by the lack of police forces available in a period of the state of emergency and by the organisation of the COP21 (Climate Summit)," read the statement.
France has been in a state of emergency since coordinated attacks by Islamic State members on Paris bars, restaurants, a concert hall and a soccer stadium killed 130 and injured at least 350.

England : Jailed football thug serving six-year ban: 'Violent disorder is a proper laugh' - 26/11/2015
Source : http://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk
A CONVICTED football hooligan has boasted how he would have "loved" to have been involved in the violent disorder that marred Crystal Palace's match with Charlton.
Palace fan James Hackett mocked a police appeal for information about the violence, which he described as a "proper laugh".
He appears to have learned nothing from being jailed for eight months last January for brawling with Brighton supporters at a pub near Kings Cross Station.
Sadly for him, Hackett was unable to join in with the disturbances during Palace's Capital One Clash with rivals Charlton on September 23 because he has been banned from attending football matches for six years.
As part of the investigation into the disorder police yesterday released pictures of 22 people they want to speak to.
When the Advertiser posted a story about the appeal on our Facebook page, Hackett was less than impressed.
He wrote: "Police can't do their job properly so they ask for the public to grass people up just for a bit of fun at football. Shocking behaviour from Croydon police."
Challenged by another reader, Hackett responded: "These people are not criminals. They've had fun at a football match, haven't harmed anyone."
Asked whether it would have been "just a bit of fun" had he been caught up in it, Hackett responded: "I'd have loved to have been involved in this violent disorder. Proper laugh."
The Advertiser contacted Hackett and asked whether he had learned anything from being sent to prison or banned from attending football matches.
He responded by sending us a picture of a group of young men drinking in a pub garden.
He added: "Football hooligans get more time in prison than a paedophile. Completely wrong that is. I'm top boy at palace. Come down Selhurst one day you never know, you might like it.
"Now leave me alone you nonce. Regards."
Hackett, of Norbury Avenue, Thornton Heath, was jailed for eight months last year after pleading guilty to violent disorder during a mass brawl with Brighton supporters near Kings Cross Station in November 2012.
The court heard how Hackett could be seen "jumping up and down in a victory pose, throwing glasses and having a fierce face-to-face confrontation".
Hackett's defence lawyer, Jonathan Simpson, said: "He had a surge of strength and responsibility in the presence of all those who are his friends to stand up and be accountable."
His conviction, when he was 21, was a slap in the face for the magistrate who had let him off with a fine in January 2012 for disrupting Crystal Palace's match with Portsmouth.
He ran after another fan who had drunkenly removed his shirt and ran the length of Selhurst Park in November 2011.
Hackett was not given a banning order because the chairman of the bench felt it was a "one-off case".
"Don't make mugs of us by going and doing it again," he said.
Police have arrested seven people in the last fortnight in connection with disorder inside and outside Selhurst Park at the Charlton match, including one accused of trying to punch Crystal Palace's bald eagle mascot Kayla.

France : Away fans still banned in France after Paris attacks - 29/11/2015
Source : http://www.english.rfi.fr
The ban on away fans attending Ligue 1 matches in France will continue until 14 December, the French interior ministry said Sunday amid security concerns in the aftermath of the 13 November attacks in Paris and as the Cop21 climate change summit starts.
The initial ban was put into place for Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 matches on19 November, as stretched security forces across the country were unable to provide complete protection, for home and away fans.
The new move comes as France's state of emergency continues and heads of state and thousands of other people attend the Cop21 climate change summit starting this weekend.
"Given the current circumstances, the travel ban of supporters will be maintained because of the rationalisation of security measures, as it is obvious that the police have other things to do now than accompany the fans," said Junior Minister for Sport Thierry Braillard.
The latest announcement means that away fans will not attend Ligue 1 matches on the 11, 12 and 13 of December, while Ligue 2 matches will not host visiting supporters on the 11, 12 and 14 of December.
The French government imposed the state of emergency after members of the Islamic State armed group attacked Paris cafes, a concert hall and a football stadium killed 130 and injured at least 350.
