One arrest after Dundee derby as fans celebrate in street
One fan was arrested and seven ejected from Tannadice during a pulsating Dundee derby on Tuesday.
Two flares were also recovered from the stands as James McPake's last-minute goal salvaged a draw for the Dark Blues.
A crowd of 11,500 watched the 2-2 draw.
Some Dundee fans spilled onto the pitch following McPake's goal and the over-exuberance of some spilled out onto the streets surrounding Tannadice after the game.
A video posted online showed one fan clamber on top of an Audi driving up Arklay Street towards Clepington Road while cheered on by a large group of fans, who begin chanting.
The game was televised by Sky and was widely hailed as a great advert for Scottish football.
Dundee's hero McPake praised the atmosphere created by both sets of fans, saying: “We were never going to give up with that crowd behind us. Both sets of fans were excellent.
“The atmosphere was great and it was a good game.”
Earlier this month an Aberdeen fan had the word "sheep" spray-painted onto his car when in Dundee for the opening game of the season.
It is believed a Dundee United fan was responsible.

Last Saturday, against Borussia Monchengladbach, hooligans were about thirty in their main boozer. They are called Borussenfront, a well know mob, especially for fights caused during the 80's and 90's. They made nazi salutes and sung against Jews. After the game, a fight with ultras (Jubos, The Unity and Desperados) in front of the boozer of these last ones was avoided by police.

Fifty-seven Manchester United fans arrested after win at Club Brugge
• Glasses and chairs thrown in city centre clash • One policeman injured by ‘Belgian hooligan’
Fifty-seven Manchester United fans were arrested in Belgium on Wednesday night as fighting took the gloss off their emphatic Champions League win over Club Brugge.
The chief constable of Bruges police, Dirk van Nuffel, said glasses and chairs were thrown in a clash between English and Belgian fans outside a bar in the city centre after the 4-0 win, which put United into the Champions League group stages.
Van Nuffel said around 30 Belgians attacked United fans in the Charlie Rockets pub. The fight then spilled out on to the street, where the missiles were thrown. Van Nuffel revealed 32 travelling fans and six Belgians were arrested near the bar.
“There were a lot of fans without a ticket and they were attacked by 30 hooligans from Bruges,” Van Nuffel said. “Police forces were present quickly and made 32 arrests of Englishmen and six Belgians.
“They were all registered and then released. We have the identities of all the people involved. We will pass those identities to the British police and they will decide whether to charge them.
“Glasses and chairs were thrown but there was no major damage. One policeman was injured by a Belgian hooligan.”
Greater Manchester police officers who had been flown in to look out for any trouble, reported that one of the United fans was detained for resisting arrest and another for damaging a police car.
Van Nuffel reported that 25 more United fans were arrested near the stadium for not having a ticket. They were all released shortly afterwards.
United had received an allocation of 1,675 tickets, but many more travelled to Bruges for the match.
Despite the arrests, Van Nuffel was happy with the behaviour of most of the United fans who travelled to the match. “My general impression of the Manchester United fans was very good, especially the ones at the match,” he said.
“They drank a lot but that is an English tradition. On the whole I was very satisfied with them.”

Pools Fan Arrested After Smoke Bomb Us - 27/08/2015
Source: http://www.hartlepoolunited.co.uk/
A Pools fan who was caught on camera setting off a smoke bomb during our opening day game against Morecambe at Victoria Park was arrested.
The supporter was identified thanks to footage taken during the game and arrested at the ground, highlighting the action being taken by the Club and authorities to combat pyrotechnics inside The Vic.
Further incidents of this nature could result in the Club being punished by The Football Association so we would appeal to all fans to refrain from using pyrotechnics at any game, home or away.

Two Manchester United fans arrested after racial allegations by train passenger - 29/08/2015
Source: http://www.sportskeeda.com/ (thanks to the sender)
A couple of Manchester United fans were arrested on Thursday after a train passenger was racially abused by the two supporters according to reports from BBC. The alleged incident took place inside a virgin train that was bound towards Manchester from London and the two men in custody were said to be returning from Belgium where United played Brugge in the Champions League playoffs on Wednesday. The British Transport Police (BPT) confirmed that the men have been put behind bars as witnesses reported about them directing racial slurs towards the fellow passenger inside the 20:40 BST service on Thursday that runs from London to Manchester.
Both individuals arrested were 51 years old and while one of them even went ahead and physically attacked the witness by kicking him. The arrest happened at Manchester Piccadilly station on grounds of common assault.
The first man was held at Crewe station on suspicion of committing a racially aggravated public offence. He has been bailed until 17 September.
Previously, Chelsea fans were also involved in a similar incident only this time there was a clear footage of the Blues supporters making racial remarks at a black man in the Paris Metro. The footage showed the group repeatedly preventing the victim from entering a train and singing, "We're racist, we're racist and that's the way we like it."
The incident took place at the Richelieu-Drouot station in the centre of Paris after a Champions League match between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain last season.
With constant efforts of UEFA and the FA to building a community that is intolerable towards racism, the problem continues to persist in the sport.
United, meanwhile, defeated Club Brugge 7-1 on aggregate in the Champions League play offs to return to the competition in style after a one-year gap. Wayne Rooney buried his poor form in the Premier League as he bagged a hat-trick to inspire van Gaal’s side to an emphatic win in Belgium.
