| Paris SG - Bayer Leverkusen - 12/03/2014Source : http://www.welt.de + http://www.rp-online.de + mail Leverkusen fans******************************** Source : http://news.yahoo.com 11 arrested after PSG & Leverkusen fans fightEleven people were arrested after a fight between fans of Paris Saint-Germain and Bayer Leverkusen before their teams' Champions League game on Wednesday. About 40 fans of each side met in Paris' historic center in a "short but violent altercation" outside Odeon metro station that left several people with minor injuries, PSG's director of security Jean-Philippe d'Halliville told The Associated Press by telephone. He added that fans of another German club, Kickers Offenbach, reinforced the Leverkusen contingent. PSG has tried hard to eradicate a long-standing hooligan problem. Two PSG supporters died in separate incidents outside Parc des Princes stadium in 2006 and 2010. PSG's group match at Anderlecht earlier this season was considered high-risk and around 150 known PSG hooligans were rounded up by police before that game in Brussels. In the same area of Paris in December 2008, fans of PSG and Dutch side FC Twente fought a pitched battle in a side street close to the landmark St Michel fountain before a Uefa Cup match, as Christmas shoppers scattered for cover. Hundreds continued the violence outside the stadium later that night. There were also violent clashes between PSG and Dinamo Zagreb fans in the Bastille area of Paris the night before PSG's home game last season, despite the French Interior Ministry issuing a decree banning Zagreb fans from the match. PSG had not provided club travel for its supporters to Zagreb two weeks prior to that after consulting Uefa. Last season's league title celebrations turned into a fiasco as fights between fans and riot police left more than 30 people injured and led to several arrests. | |

| England : Football fans in court after disorderly behaviour following the Huddersfield Town v Barnsley game - 12/03/2014
Source : http://www.examiner.co.uk
Two football fans have appeared in court for their disorderly behaviour following a Huddersfield Town game.
Jake Allsop and David Rhodes were arrested after the team’s game against Barnsley at the John Smith’s Stadium on March 1.
Kirklees magistrates banned one of the men from matches for three years after hearing how he hurled abuse in front of shocked families as officers tried to escort him from the ground.
Allsop, of Round Hill in Barnsley, admitted being drunk and disorderly in public while Rhodes, of Queen Street in Rotherham, pleaded guilty to threatening behaviour.
Magistrates heard that Rhodes, 26, was part of a large group who had come to support Barnsley.
At just before 5pm police were dealing with supporters being escorted away from the stadium.
James Weekes, prosecuting, said: “Most of the group were rowdy and chanting but there were no problems with their behaviour.
“One male had broken free from the group. He was shouting loudly at people, his arms outstretched and shouting: ‘Huddersfield are w*****s’.
“Young families were walking past and appeared to be caused alarm by the defendant.”
Marnat Ali, mitigating, said that his client was usually a Sheffield United fan but had been asked by his father to attend the game.
He added that at the time Rhodes was going through some personal difficulties.
As well as fining him £70 magistrates issued a football banning order.
This will prevent Rhodes from attending any regulated game in the UK or abroad for the next three years.
Allsop, 20, was involved in an incident at the Boy & Barrel pub in the town centre.
Police were called to the Beast Market premises twice because staff were concerned about his behaviour.
The officers escorted drunk Allsop outside as he appeared aggressive and was waving his arms about.
He was instructed to leave Kirklees for 24 hours but refused to do, making an offensive hand gesture at police and calling them ‘scum’.
Mr Ali explained that Allsop had been a football fan since the age of five.
He said: “He’s attended 600 football matches and coaches disabled children.
“He was asked to leave the pub and go back to Barnsley - as far as he was concerned he’d done nothing wrong.”
Magistrates fined Allsop £170 but did not ban him from future games.

Four arrested for disorder related to Cambridge United clash with Luton Town FC
Four people were arrested for disorder last night in relation to the match between Cambridge United and Luton Town FC. A massive police presence was on the streets of the city in an effort to deter any serious disturbances. A police spokesman said the operation was “successful” with just four arrests for public order offences. United held Skrill Premier leaders Luton Town to a 1-1 draw. Match attendance was 6,000. Two men, a 51-year-old from Luton, and a 27-year-old from London have been charged with attempting to enter a football ground while drunk. A 20-year-old man from Biggleswade has been charged with assaulting a police constable. All three have been bailed to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on March 26. A 52-year-old man from Luton was cautioned for entering an area next to the pitch.

| CSKA Sofia - Levski Sofia - 15/03/2014Source : http://www.globalpost.com 98 arrested, policeman injured before Sofia derbyA total of 98 football fans were arrested and one police officer was injured ahead of the Sofia derby between arch-rivals Levski and CSKA on Saturday, the interior ministry said. Supporters of both teams were detained ahead of the game, when police stepped in to prevent several clashes in different parts of the Bulgarian capital. A police officer was injured in one of the accidents when fans started throwing stones at police. Most of the fans were detained for carrying banned objects including clubs and knives, the interior ministry added in a statement. Police on motorcycles escorted the stone- and bottle-throwing supporters from both teams to the stadium, blocking city-centre traffic for hours, an AFP journalist reported. Levski and CSKA are Bulgaria's most popular teams and traditional arch-rivals, and clashes are a usual sight before games. The two teams met each other only last Saturday, when 46 fans were also detained before and during the match. CSKA won that game 1-0, but the match was overshadowed by a total of six red cards, with each side finishing the game with eight men. | |

| AC Milan - Parma FC - 16/03/2014Source : http://sg.sports.yahoo.com Milan fans protest outside San SiroHundreds of AC Milan fans have been angrily protesting outside San Siro on Sunday over their poor form and woeful 2013-14 campaign. The Rossoneri have lost three consecutive games heading into Sunday's clash with Parma - 2-0 at home to Juventus a fortnight ago, 1-0 at Udinese last weekend and 4-1 to Atletico Madrid in midweek as they exited the Champions League with a whimper. Shortly before 13:00 CET - with kick-off scheduled at 15:00CET - supporters began surrounding the stadium in Milan with chants such as “sh*t team” and “you'll leave the stadium at midnight”. The protest, which has so far been totally peaceful, was organised by ultras situated in Curva Sud with out-of-sorts striker Mario Balotelli and CEO Adriano Galliani drawing much of their ire. Milan's squad arrived at the ground via an alternate route to avoid contact with the crowd outside San Siro. Milan | |
