Away fans will once again be banned from Le Classique after Bouches-du-Rhône police prefecture published a banning order on Paris Saint-Germain fans accessing the Stade Vélodrome to watch their team play Olympique de Marseille on the 27th of October.

RMC Sport have reported that this banning order will soon be followed by a travel ban on supporters of Les Parisiens from the Ministry of Interior. This ban does not come as a surprise as PSG fans have not been allowed to attend the away fixture in Le Classique since 2015.

Stadium bans are a common feature in high-profile fixtures in the French calendar due to fears over crowd troubles between the supporters of rival clubs.

The national police announced that two radical ultras belonging to the Riazor Blues of La Coruña were arrested on Sunday.  With a group of around fifty individuals armed with pickaxe handles and iron bars, they attacked the police who were trying to stop them.

Lukas Podolski's jubilee in Cologne turned into a chaotic battle in the streets of the German city on Thursday. Violence erupted between two groups near the cathedral, resulting in a 32-year-old Polish man, who was on his way to the match, being stabbed. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition. A 17-year-old alleged accomplice, found with blood on his clothes, was arrested.

Another altercation between Polish fans and a different group reportedly broke out an hour after the first, prompting the intervention of riot police. The situation escalated with projectiles being thrown at law enforcement officials. Initial reports indicate that nine police officers were injured. Authorities are currently reviewing surveillance footage to identify the troublemakers who took advantage of the chaos to disperse.

According to some sources, the confrontation involved fans of Polish club Gornik Zabrze, where Lukas Podolski plays, and those of GKS Katowice. Others suggest there were clashes between Polish and German fans.

There are fights in the stands between Albanian and Czech fans



The Czech fans shamefully unfolded the map of Kosovo under the Serbian flag, and desecrated the Albanian one, turning it upside down.

At the end of the first half, the Albanian fans approached the stand of the Czech ultras, attempting a physical fight. Many police forces were deployed between the two crowds where throwing objects from a distance was not absent.

The Albanian flags that were turned upside down have left the stand, but the one of the map of Kosovo under the colors of Serbia continued throughout the challenge.

UEFA imposes 3-match travel ban on Anderlecht fan following violence in San Sebastian - 11/10/2024

The ban follows violence inside Real Sociadad's stadium in the Spanish-Basque city of San Sebastian during which some Anderlecht supporters ripped up seats and through them at the home team’s supporters. Anderlecht won the game 1-2.

The club had already banned 8 supporters that had been identified as having taken part in the violence from attending matches at its Lotto Park stadium.

In addition to the ban on its supporters travelling to away games in the Europa League, RSC Anderlecht has also been fined 60,000 euro. The three-matcvh ban includes a ban of two matches for the violence in San Sebastian and the imposition of a suspended one-match ban that UEFA had imposed following incidents two seasons ago during a match against the English Premier League club West Ham.

During the derby, hooligans from BKS Steel Bielsko-Biała, another club in the city, tried to attack Rekord fans but the police quickly intervened, notably using tear gas. Two Rekord fans were slightly injured.

Around a hundred hooligans from BKS Steel Bielsko-Biała bought stadium tickets for the occasion. Among them, a municipal councilor of the city ! The mayor, Jaroslaw Klimaszewski, has demanded a public apology and is calling for his resignation.
