Trabzonspor fans storm pitch, brawl after home loss to Fenerbahce
Fans of Turkey's Trabzonspor stormed the pitch and brawled with security forces and players from visiting Fenerbahce after their team lost 3-2 on Sunday, in the latest incident in a league that has been marred by controversy this season.
Fenerbahce's Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi scored an 87th-minute winner as tensions ran high between the two teams, who have a history of chaotic encounters, and with fans hurling objects onto the field. Fenerbahce's players celebrated in the centre of the pitch after the final whistle.
A supporter ran onto the field and fought with Fenerbahce defender Bright Osayi-Samuel. Video footage showed Osayi-Samuel swinging a fist towards the fan, while Batshuayi could be seen kicking out at supporters as security forces tried to intervene.
Dozens more then stormed the pitch, as security forces tried to shield Fenerbahce players running off the field.

Steward punched and referee's phone stolen at chaotic Worksop Town game
A steward was assaulted during an outbreak of violence during a Nottinghamshire football match, which a club director says was the "worst we've had it for years". Police were called to Worksop Town's Sandy Lane ground during their game with Macclesfield Town.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and banned from attending the ground, Nottinghamshire Police said. He was also given a conditional caution.
A video of clashing fans was uploaded to social media, with one supporter shown repeatedly punching a steward before being pushed away. Keith Ilett, a director at Worksop Town, said the referee's possessions, including his watch and phone, were also stolen from the changing rooms.
"It kicked off just before half time for about 10 minutes, a steward got bad facial injuries," he said. "It simmered down then until the end of the match. Fans were stood waiting outside and then people started fighting in the middle of the road."

Chaos after Wigan and Blackpool game as four arrested
Chaotic scenes erupting after the Blackpool and Wigan Athletic football game at the DW Stadium on Saturday (March 16).
A huge police presence responded to what has been described as 'disorder' after the match, as supporters of both clubs 'came together' to cause the riot as they left the event.
Greater Manchester Police were criticised by some fans on social media, with one person posting a video claiming officers 'went off on one'. Footage appeared to show a number of people being pinned to the ground by officers as the rowdy crowds were moved along.
The force has since confirmed to the Manchester Evening News that fans from both clubs "came together with the intention of causing disorder" and that the "high-risk" fixture was "resourced accordingly and effectively." Four Blackpool fans were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and have since been bailed with conditions.

AC Padova - Catania - Copa Italia Serie C - 19/03/2024
Source : corrieredelveneto.corriere.it
Padova, Catania ultras invade the pitch: clashes during the Coppa Italia C final won by the Biancoscudati 2-1
Madness at half-time. The visiting fans reached the home fans' areas and threw projectiles. The police restored calm and the match resumed. Three supporters arrested and a policeman injured
There was, of course, the result of the match, with Padova's 2-1 victory in the Coppa Italia Serie C final leaving the way clear for the return leg at the Massimino in April. Unfortunately, however, the evening at the Euganeo was marked by a serious invasion of the pitch at the end of the first half by around a hundred Catania ultras, who broke through the gate into the visiting sector and began throwing firecrackers, smoke bombs and rockets towards the East Stand.
The violence
It was an almost surreal situation, given that the police intervention came after five minutes and after some Sicilian supporters had tried to climb the gate to make contact with the Biancoscudati ultras. Among the paraphernalia was a banner belonging to the Amissi club, which was stolen, causing the Padua supporters to fall silent during the second half. Silence also reigned in the visiting sector, after three arrests and the injury of a policeman: "Another cowardly attack", read a note published by the Padua police FSP, "against policemen at a football match". No stronger words are needed: the police must go home. No ifs or buts. Yesterday in Verona five people were injured, and tonight in Padua another. What are we waiting for? Do we need a flag on a policeman's coffin to get things moving? The measure is full: enough words, we need concrete, immediate and tangible facts. The Fsp Police Padoue is not ruling out a peaceful sit-in protest in the next few days". The note is signed by regional secretary Luca Capalbo.
