Spurs and West Ham fans clashing in the street before London derby
The terrifying moment football fans clashed before the London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham has been caught on camera.
The exclusive video, filmed from a passenger on a bus passing the scene in Tottenham, north London, shows two opposing groups of fans shouting at each other, before one launches a punch at another.
As the fans clashed on Tottenham High Road, not far from the White Hart Lane football ground where the match was being played, two police officers run in to try and break up the group using batons.
the background, others continue to shout and goad one another, before police manage to separate them to a safe distance.
The scenes were filmed shortly before kick-off at 17.30 on Saturday by a Spurs fan from London, who wished to remain anonymous, as he travelled to the match.
He said: "We were at the front of the bus going up the High Road when the bus stopped because of the fight.
"I could see a group of about 20 guys on each side and two police officers.
"The police presence was massive as always, but this is a long road and the fight broke out about 300m from the ground and obviously the two police officers in the video don't have control over 40 guys.
"I don't know if things had kicked off earlier, or what happened after, but as the bus drove off a massive group of policemen came down the road towards the scene, including a stream of policemen on horses."
Despite the shocking scenes, a spokesman from the Metropolitan Police said no arrests were made.
This is not the first time Spurs and West Ham fans have come to blows.
This time last year, there were violent clashes between fans in the same area, which left one West Ham fan in hospital after he was stabbed in the stomach.

Pub used by Blues fans to ambush Villa supporters and police licence suspended - 19/11/2016
Source : http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/
A Birmingham pub has had its licence suspended after police officers were pelted with glasses and bottles when “serious disorder” broke out after the Blues Villa derby match last month.
West Midlands Police were forced to draft in more than 75 officers and police dogs to try and control a large group of Birmingham City fans who were drinking outside the White Tower pub after the match on October 30.
The force said “risk supporters” were lying in wait at the venue because they knew it was on the route officers were using to escort Aston Villa fans back to Duddeston train station.
It told an expedited licence review hearing on November 3 that officers were forced to use batons to move the fans away from the Nechells pub in order to prevent violent clashes between the two sets of rival supporters.
In a written submission to the hearing, Superintendent Andy Parsons, said: “Police had visited the White Tower on Saturday night and were told the venue would not open on Sunday. Police spotters attended on the Sunday morning and were again told the venue would not be open.
“After the game a significant number of Birmingham City fans attended and police spotters identified a number of risk fans. The police escort of Aston Villa fans needed to pass this location in order to reach Duddeston railway station.
“The group had been drinking and were clearly aware the escort would pass here. The licence holder had no control over this group. They were not complying with police requests.
“The group escalated their behaviour and officers had to use force to clear the group. Bottles and glasses were thrown at police officers. This was a high level of violence aimed at police which I would class as serious disorder.
“It took in excess of 75 officers and numerous police dogs to safely restore order at the location and gain control of the group inside. Fans were arrested from this location.”
In its written decision to suspend the licence, pending the full hearing, the council’s licensing sub committee A said: “The sub-committee determined the principal cause of the serious crime and serious disorder was due to the management of the premises choosing to open the venue at a time when they had informed West Midlands Police, on at least two separate occasions, that it they would not do so.”
The full hearing will be held next week and councillors have the option of adding conditions, modifying current conditions or even revoking the licence.
Officers arrested 14 people during the afternoon of October 30 on suspicion of a range of offences including violent disorder, pitch encroachment and affray.
The force is also still investigating at least two of its officers after footage emerged online which allegedly showed one Blues fans being shoved to the floor and another being kicked in an incident near to the St Andrew’s ground.
The footage was recorded by another football fan as supporters walked home from the Championship clash.
In response to the videos Chief Inspector Brian Carmichael said: “The circumstances surrounding the incident and actions of the officers involved will be investigated. We expect the highest standards from all our staff and anyone found to have acted inappropriately will face disciplinary action.”

West Ham and Chelsea fans handed banning orders - 20/11/2016
Source : https://sports-nova.com/
It would come as a sad news for the two Premier League teams who locked horns against each other in the League Cup earlier this month. Seven people were arrested after a violent riot erupted between Chelsea FC and West Ham United fans, after The Hammer’s 2-1 win over The Blues in the tournament’s fourth round tie.
27 year old West Ham fan, Nicholas Greenway has been banned for three years after being charged with threatening behavior and Blues supporter, Michael Parker has also been given a three year ban after throwing a missile in the ground. Both men were issued banning orders by Thames Magistrates’ Court after appearing last Friday.
Metropolitan Police commander BJ Harrington has said that they will work with their partners to tackle crime and disorder at the London stadium and banning supporters is also a part of the work.
Harrington stated that: “Although the vast majority of people who attended the match were well behaved, there were a minority who were clearly intent on being involved in confrontation and violence.”
He also claimed that there were unacceptable behavior outside the stadium by both sets of fans and the banning orders on Greenway and Parker will prevent them from causing further trouble during matches in the future.
Plastic bottles, coins and seats were thrown during the match as numerous fans clashed in the stadium, forcing riot police to intervene and stop the riot from getting more violent. The FA and EFL have also promised to investigate the situation.
This is not the first time that West Ham fans have been criticized of hooliganism ever since moving to their new stadium in London with violence erupting in their previous matches against Middlesbrough and Watford.
The Hammers knew that the visit of London rivals Chelsea FC would be a problem as there was extra security and stewards in the stadium and also an alcohol ban but despite the presence of the extra security it did not stop both sets of fans to get into a violent riot towards the end of the match.

Thirty hooligans arrested in Mechlin
Twenty-two KV Mechlin supporters and 13 supporters from Standard Liège were arrested on Sunday afternoon.
This was whilst they were about to clash before the match between the two teams. The local Mechlin/Willebroek police zone indicated this today (Monday).
The police said that the hooligans had prepared themselves during recent days, with a view to organising a street fight.
They were all charged under the framework of the football rules.
It is worthy of note that the supporters were, in particular, armed with truncheons and combat gloves.
They were locked up in the cells of the Mechlin police station until the end of the match, which passed off without a major incident.
“In conjuction with our police force, I wish to put everything in place so that football matches are and remain a celebration,” the Mayor of Mechlin, Bart Somers (from the Open Vld -Flemish Liberals and Democrats), said when giving his reaction to events.

Russia : Spartak, CSKA fined over Moscow fan violence - 02/11/2016
Source : http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/
Russian arch-rivals Spartak and CSKA were each fined nearly $8,000 on Wednesday over fan violence that halted their Moscow derby at the weekend and shone another damning spotlight on the World Cup host.
The latest crowd trouble to tarnish Russian football erupted on Saturday when Spartak and CSKA supporters clashed at Spartak's Otkrytie Arena, a 2018 World Cup venue, forcing the referee to stop the match for five minutes in the second half.
Police said that 70 people were detained after flares were thrown in the stands, while riot police waded in as rival supporters tried to scale metal fencing to confront one another. Artur Grigoryants, head of the Russian Football Union's disciplinary board, said the bulk of the fines -- 500,000 rubles for Spartak and 490,000 rubles for CSKA -- was linked to fans' use of flares and other pyrotechnics, Russian news agencies reported.
Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich has said he was "ashamed" by the violence, Russian news agencies reported. Russian authorities have called for measures to curb crowd trouble as the country prepares to host the World Cup. In July President Vladimir Putin approved a law that tightens security controls at stadiums and will see the interior ministry publish online a blacklist of supporters banned from matches. Russian supporters were widely blamed for outbreaks of violence that tarnished Euro 2016 in France, notably in Marseille, where they clashed with England fans.

FIFA fined Kosovo, Croatia over “Kill the Serbs” chants by fans - 04/11/2016
Source : https://inserbia.info/
Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) will have to pay 30,000 Swiss francs due to the improper conduct of fans at a match against Croatia.
Kosovo and Croatian fans chanted “Kill the Serb” during the match in a World Cup qualifier, played on 6 October in Skadar, Albania.
FIFA earlier today fined the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) with 50,000 Swiss francs for the same incident.
The match in Skadar was completed with a crushing victory of Croatia (6:0).
In 2012 The Serbian FA was fined $105,000 by UEFA following an Under-21 match where opposing England players said they were “racially abused”. Stronger sanctions should have been taken against the Serbian Football Association, said at the time FIFA president Sepp Blatter — who also said that “zero tolerance” policies against racism need to be upheld.

Germany : Dynamo Dresden fined £54,000 over severed bull’s head thrown by fans - 08/11/2016
Source : https://www.theguardian.com/
The German second division club Dynamo Dresden have been fined €60,000 (£54,000) and will have parts of their stands closed for one game after their fans threw a severed bull’s head near the pitch during a Cup match.
The German football association (DFB) announced on Tuesday that repeat offenders Dynamo, who were already on probation following incidents last season, had failed to safeguard their high-risk German Cup game in August against RB Leipzig, who are nicknamed the Bulls.
Dresden fans had thrown a bull’s head on to the inside area of the stadium, unfurled insulting banners and hit one player with a coin during their win over their fellow eastern German club, owned by energy drinks maker Red Bull.
RB Leipzig’s seven-year rise into German football’s top flight has been dogged by boycotts and protest stunts by opposing fans. Unlike in other leagues in Europe, the statutes of the German Football Association deter big investors from taking over its clubs and many fans feel RB Leipzig have overstepped the mark in the deal with their sponsor.
There were a total of six incidents of unsportsmanlike behaviour from their fans, including at three other games in October, the DFB said, including the use of banned flares.
This is not the first time Dynamo has been sanctioned, with the club having been suspended from the German Cup in the 2013-14 season because of crowd trouble.

Juventus fan stabbed following clashes with Sevilla supporters
Clashes between supporters of Juventus and Sevilla on Monday night left one Italian fan seriously hurt after he was stabbed and at least three others injured, according to the Spanish media.
AS reports that a group of 30 individuals went into "El Papelon" bar in Seville's historic centre at 11 p.m. local time, where Juve fans were present.
A Marca video shows some of the clashes between the rival supporters, including one fan throwing a chair after stepping outside of the bar.
Local police eventually intervened.
It is not the first time this season that violence has occurred ahead of Sevilla's Champions League home games.
On Sept. 27, a small group of Lyon fans clashed with police prior to their game against Sevilla.
On Nov. 2, before Sevilla's game against Dinamo Zagreb, violence flared between opposing fans with several Dinamo supporters arrested by police.
Sevilla condemn supporter violence after clashes with Juventus fans
Sevilla have expressed their "strongest disgust" following violent clashes between alleged rival fan groups ahead of their Champions League match against Juventus. Images and mobile phone footage emerged showing hundreds of individuals running down Avenida Reyes Catolicos in the centre of the city at around 01:00 local time, before they head towards a bar on the corner of the street. In one recording, a bystander can be seen fleeing through a side door after dozens of the perpetrators entered the bar, where it is claimed that a fight took place between Sevilla and Juve fans.
One man was taken to hospital, where he is in a serious condition, after sustaining a stab wound, police are reported to have told local media. Two other individuals required medical treatment.
The Andalusian club have since issued a statement to condemn the violence and have vowed to work alongside police and security forces to identify the perpetrators. The statement read: "Following the latest media reports, Sevilla FC want to show our strongest disgust and condemnation of the disgraceful events that took place on Monday night, in which supposed supporters of Sevilla took part in a serious fight with Juventus fans on Avenida Reyes Catolicos. "At the same time, we wish to put at the disposal of the police and authorities everything that might be required in order to clarify the facts. "In this sense, the club wants to make it clear that these so-called sevillistas do not at all represent the values of tolerance and respect of the club. "Sevilla have, furthermore, asked the police authorities for all the information they have about the perpetrators to find out if any are members of the club, in which case we will proceed with the application of internal disciplinary regulations.
"Sevilla have worked hard to earn a place among the great teams of Europe and we cannot allow incidents like this to tarnish the image of a club that is more than 125 years old, which is fortunately now in one of the brightest moments of its long history. "Lastly, Sevilla asks all of our fan groups, as well as the individual sevillistas, to condemn the unfortunate events that have occurred."

France : Paris Saint-Germain fans go on trial over fellow supporter's death - 24/11/2016
Source : http://www.espnfc.com/
Two Paris Saint-Germain fans have gone on trial in the French capital over the death of another supporter six years ago.
Following Marseille's 3-0 win over PSG at Parc des Princes in February 2010, supporter Yann Lorence was involved in a violent exchange with other fans of the capital club outside the stadium.
Lorence, 37, was left in a critical condition and hospitalised but was pronounced clinically dead the following month because of the injuries he sustained that night.
The two PSG supporters, who went on trial on Thursday, have been charged with "voluntary violence that resulted in the unintentional death" of Lorence and the process will last until Nov. 30.
The death of Lorence led PSG to take action against their ultra supporters and ultimately resulted in the revocation of all season tickets at Parc des Princes and the exile of all ultra groups under "Plan Leproux," led by former club president Robin Leproux.
According to L'Equipe, Leproux has been called as a witness in the case against the two fans and will be required to speak in court.
It has taken PSG's ultras until this year to finally receive the green light to return to Parc des Princes after years away and their return was first celebrated during the 2-0 win over Bordeaux in early October.
