Fresh Euros security fear as fans start fire after smuggling flares
Questions have been raised around the Stade de France security after supporters were able to get fireworks and flares in through a 7ft security fence for the French Cup final.
Bitter rivals PSG and Marseille clashed in the decider, but with the Parisians coming out on top, with the European Championships set to start on June 10th, the sight of a fire in the stands along with firecrackers sparking won't have eased the fears of fans hoping to travel to this summer's tournament.
Increased security measures were in place for last Saturday's game, with a massive barrier erected outside the ground, which prompted hour-long queues for fans to get inside the stadium.
The Sun reported this morning that riot police used tear gas on fighting supporters who grew frustrated at the long wait.

Footie terror debacle ahead of Euro 2016
Before the game there was total chaos as poor signage led to the 40,000 fans of Paris Saint-German and Marseille scattered around the Stade de France and, in some cases, were led into narrow tunnels.
As the game was getting underway, both sets of fans deployed smoke bombs and firecrackers despite an increase in security outside the stadium designed to prevent them from being brought into the ground.
After the match, a bus of Marseille supporters was hit by rocks from PSG fans, rounding off a chaotic night in the French capital.
27 arrests were made for violent disorder.

English football hooligan known as the 'Pig of Marseilles' says he will return to France during Euro 2016 to attack Muslims - 24/05/2016
Source : http://www.thesun.co.uk/
A VILE football hooligan nicknamed the "Pig of Marseilles" has vowed he will attack Muslims during next month's Euro 2016 tournament in France.
James Shayler claims he has arranged to meet up with Russian thugs so they can assault innocent spectators during the competition.
England and Russia play each other on June 11 - which is when Shayler claims they will unleash their vile attacks on Muslims.
Shayler, 50, earned his nickname during the World Cup in France in 1998.
The thug was caged for leading a group of hooligans that targeted police after England defeated Tunisia in Marseilles.
The city is home to roughly 220,000 Muslims.
Fears are mounting that England fans might clash with right-wing Russian thugs, but Shayler claims it is Muslims who will be the targets.
Shayler, from Wellingborough in Northamptonshire, told the Mail Online: "The Russians hate them (Muslims), don't they? England will be with Russia against the Muslims."
The lout also claims he has been in touch with Landscrona - an organisation that follows Russian team Zenit St Petersburg.
Shayler was jailed for two months in France for hurling missiles at the country's police.
A year later he was locked up in the UK for seven years for dealing cocaine.

England and Wales fans hit by booze ban for Lens clash - 24/05/2016
Source : http://www.eurosport.co.uk/
A England and Wales fans hoping to party in Lens next month will have to do without alcohol after the tiny French city slapped a booze ban on the potentially troublesome fixture between the British rivals.
There is a 24-hour ban on alcohol in place between 6am on Thursday June 16 until 6am the next day due to the threat of drunken hooligans hitting Lens amid a contingent of half a million fans travelling to France from England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Fans without a ticket for the match have been urged to avoid Lens with police checking arriving fans to make sure they don’t have alcohol.
British Police have told fans to head for Lille or another city with a fan zone to watch the match.
Fans with tickets will only be able to drink in official fan zones before and after the match as Police monitor the conduct of supporters.
With Euro 2016 coming only months after the attacks on Paris, taking preventitive measures against the prospect of a terrorist attack is the major priority for security forces.
In such an atmosphere, Police are expected to take a tough stance on football hooliganism by pushing for quick convictions against trouble-makers.
The stadium in Lens holds around 41,000 – around 4,000 more than the population of the town.

England : Coventry City fan charged after trouble following Millwall match - 24/05/2016
Source : http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/
A Coventry City fan has been charged after being arrested after last month’s game against Millwall.
Craig Sharma was arrested as trouble flared between the two sets of fans outside The Wheatsheaf, in Foleshill Road, following the game at the Ricoh Arena on April 16.
Millwall fans were directed past the pub by police at around 5.30pm and Sharma, 26, of Henley Road, Bell Green, was one of two men arrested.
He has now been charged with affray and failing to comply with a football banning order and was bailed to appear before Coventry Magistrates’ Court on June 23.
In total police arrested five people either during the Coventry-Millwall game or as trouble flared outside The Wheatsheaf afterwards.
Two men were charged with being drunk in a sports ground with George Stammers, 46, from Weldon, Birmingham, being fined after admitting the offence.
Lee Teeley, however, has denied the charge and the 28-year-old from Elmley Street, London, will now stand trial at Coventry Magistrates on June 15.
A 24-year-old man from Eltham, London, was cautioned for possession of a controlled drug inside the Ricoh Arena and a 42-year-old man from Nottingham was arrested on suspicion of using threatening behaviour after the trouble at The Wheatsheaf. He is currently on police bail.

Italy : Roma football 'ultra' gets 26 years for rival fan shooting - 24/05/2016
Source : http://tenplay.com.au/
An Italian judge on Tuesday handed one of the the country's most notorious football hooligans a 26-year prison sentence over the fatal shooting of a rival fan before the 2014 Italian Cup final.
Daniele De Santis, a Roma "ultra", was convicted of shooting Ciro Esposito during clashes with Napoli fans who were in Rome for their club's Coppa Italia final against Fiorentina. Esposito died from his injuries 53 days later.
Lawyers for De Santis unsuccessfully argued that he had acted in self-defence. Their client was also ordered to pay damages to the Esposito family.
"I forgave Daniele the day after the clashes. I never felt any hate towards him, I only asked for justice," Esposito's mother, Antonella Leardi told reporters after the verdict.
The judge also sentenced two Napoli fans involved in the violence in the Tor di Quinto suburb of Rome to eight months in prison, significantly less than the three years prosecutors had requested.
Ultras are gangs of fans who pride themselves on their dedication and loyalty to their clubs and are frequently associated with the violence that continues to blight Italian football.
The incidents before the 2014 Cup final made headlines around the world.
At least five police were injured trying to break up a string of clashes between Roma and Napoli ultras in the hours before the match.
After a 45-minute delay to kick-off, a decision was made to go ahead with the game. Napoli beat Fiorentina 3-1 in a final played largely in silence.

England : Police called after fight between Crystal Palace and Millwall fans in Croydon High Street - 29/05/2016
Source : http://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/
Police were called to a fight between Crystal Palace and Millwall fans in Croydon High Street this evening (Sunday).
Officers were called to reports of someone being punched in the face in the street at about 8pm.
A police spokesman said a man was making threats and shoving people in High Street.
A man who was in High Street when the incident happened said Millwall fans were chanting "Millwall, Millwall, Millwall" at the Palace fan.
"There was a group of guys and one of them was trying to fight the man and chanting at him," the man, who did not want to be named, said.
"His mates were trying to hold him back, and then some bouncers were trying to restrain the other guy and the Millwall fan ran off."
Another witness said the Palace fan was running up and down the street shouting "you ****ing idiots" while bouncers attempted to hold him back.
"He was roaming the street like a wild animal," he said.
Officers restrained the Palace fan, pinning him to the ground before eventually taking him away in the police van.
The spokesman said the man was detained to prevent a breach of the peace and was later released. No further action is being taken at the moment, he added.

France free-fight...cancelled - 28/05/2016
Source : Mail - TFC view
Meeting offered by Toulouse 2 days after the previous fight won by Lyon couple months ago in Narbonne. Lyon is ok but refuse to travel half-way and ask for us to come to them. We agree and said 15v15. The day before we tell them we will be between 15 and 20, Lyon agree with that but they say that if we bring some KOB they will storm us with 50-60. On the day of the fight we say we'll be 21, including 3 parisians and 2 from Tours FC. Lyon say it's not proper and they can't find 5 free fighters in a few hours like that; and then they start bullshitting us, saying Magic Fans knows where we are. Finally they say 40 guys wait for us in a hill nearby but half of them will split...when we finally getting closer: "cops are there", we leave to wait for an other hour and they finally say "cops arrested some cars from us". We then decide to go back home after waiting from 5pm to 9:30 for Lyon to organize in their own town, a big surprise for us. We usually don't make reports for such non-event, but this way we're sure Lyon will show some balls next time.

England : 180 football hooligans warned to surrender passports ahead of Euro 2016 - 29/05/2016
Source : http://www.newsshopper.co.uk
At least 180 football hooligans have been warned by the Met to surrender their passports after receiving banning orders.
The police have required football fans to surrender their passports by June 1 at the latest.
The warning comes ahead of the Euro 2016 competition that is being hosted by France.
Letters have already been sent to those subject to a banning order, reminding them of their legal obligation to surrender their passport.
There are 180 people who the police are targetting.
Superintendent Jon Williams from the Met's Public Order Unit said: "Violence and hooliganism will not be tolerated in football and these bans are imposed to ensure that the real fans can go and watch football games without fear of violence.
"Anyone who is on a banning order needs to realise that if they fail to hand in their passport to their designated police station within the timeframe can expect to be arrested.
"If you are arrested for failing to surrender your passport you will be brought before the court which could result in a lengthy extension to your ban."

Scottish Cup Final: Bans for Hibs fans after pitch invasion - 31/05/2016
Source : http://www.bbc.com/
Hibernian FC have imposed bans on a number of their supporters following the trouble at the Scottish Cup final.
Fans spilled onto the pitch after the Edinburgh side beat Rangers 3-2 with a goal in injury time.
The Ibrox club said a number of their players were assaulted by Hibs supporters during the pitch invasion.
Last week, a man admitted running towards Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham and gesticulating in an offensive manner after the match.
Hibernian said the sanctions handed out were life bans and indefinite bans. It has not been revealed how many fans have been banned.
The club's chief executive, Leeann Dempster, said: "While Police Scotland will continue with their own inquiries, we will continue to review what happened and take the action we think appropriate to protect the club's good name.
"We will also co-operate fully with the independent commission established by the SFA.
"We have initiated contact with the supporters informing them of our decision. We will continue to identify and impose appropriate sanctions against others involved in unacceptable behaviour."
Police Scotland have set up a dedicated email address to receive images and video which captured scenes of disorder after Saturday's Scottish Cup final.
The final ended in chaos when thousands of Hibernian fans flooded onto the pitch as they claimed their first Scottish Cup success in 114 years.
Some Rangers fans also made it past stewards and on to the pitch, leading to a period of fighting between the two sets of supporters before mounted police and stewards restored order.
The pitch invasion delayed the presentation of the trophy and there was no lap of honour for Hibs players.
Rangers players received their cup final medals in the dressing room.

Wales : The 87 football fans banned from Wales matches must surrender their passports or face arrest - 31/05/2016
Source : http://www.walesonline.co.uk/
They have been told to surrender their passports to police by June 1, or risk being arrested because of rules around the start of an international football tournament
Fans who have been banned from watching the Welsh football team have been told to surrender their passports to police, or risk being arrested.
According to South Wales Police , 87 fans are currently subject to banning orders, and they have been written to, reminding them to surrender their passports by June 1 at 7pm.
According to official figures, there are 45 fans from Cardiff, 12 from Swansea, 11 from Newport and 19 from Wrexham currently banned.
South Wales Police superintendent Steve Furnham said: “As anticipation is growing for a summer of football, we want to ensure that fans have an enjoyable and safe Euro 2016 experience.
"Unfortunately there are a small minority of people who engage in football related violence and disorder, these bans are imposed to ensure that the law abiding football supporters can enjoy Euro 2016 safely.”
According to the police, anyone on a banning order must surrender their passport to the police 10 days before an international football tournament, such as the Euros or the World Cup, begins.
The order also states that offenders can only collect it the day after the tournament ends - regardless of where Wales finish.
The orders, which last a minimum of three years, can be granted by the courts when someone is convicted of a football related offence and are issued to help to prevent football related violence or disorder in the UK or abroad.
