Luton fans brawl with West Ham stewards in ugly scenes as police forced to intervene
Luton Town supporters clashed with West Ham stewards late in their team's defeat at the London Stadium, a result which all but consigns them to an immediate Championship return.
After falling 3-1 behind to David Moyes' Hammers, stewards attempted to eject at least two supporters in the lower tier. But when the fans resisted, security reinforcements arrived and a number of other fans appeared to become engaged.
Several punches were thrown and a number of fans and stewards were seen falling down some stairs. Police officers swiftly arrived in an attempt to calm tensions before the match came to an end.

The violent incident is believed to have occurred when the Leeds fan engaged with a group of Norwich supporters over alleged chants about past tragedies, following the meeting at Carrow Road on Sunday afternoon.
It is understood tensions flared after the play-off match ended in a stalemate, leading to police intervention. It's claimed that two people have been arrested.

Police investigation after Kilmarnock fan, 60, seriously assaulted by youth gang
Police are appealing for information after a man was hospitalised following a savage daylight attack by a gang of young football fans on Saturday.
The 60-year-old sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries after being set upon by a group of youths following St Mirren's Premiership game with Kilmarnock at the SMiSA stadium. The incident took place around 5pm on Ferguslie Park Avenue.
One Buddie told how a group of young Saints supporters – estimated to be just 12 years old in some cases – waited for Killie fans to leave the ground.
