Pub blame Rotherham United fans for 50 person brawl
Several people were injured after 50 football fans started throwing bottles and chairs in a mass brawl outside a Doncaster pub.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested following the disorder outside the Paris Gate pub in St Sepulchre Gate Doncaster Town Centre on Saturday.
Three women were injured in the incident that happened around 4.55pm on Saturday May 7 when a spokesman for the pub said a group of around 50 Rotherham fans turned up looking for Doncaster Rovers supporters.
Around 50 people are understood to have been involved, causing damage outside the pub and reportedly assaulting staff and customers.

“Around 50 Rotherham fans turned up looking for trouble when staff went outside to tell them there were no Doncaster Rovers fans in the pub the Rotherham fans started throwing glasses and chairs.
“These weren’t kids they were grown men who had come looking for a fight.”
The incident came just hours after Rotherham United’s 5-1 defeat to Hull City.
A police spokesman said: “A 48-year-old man suffered minor facial injuries as a result of the incident.
“A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and bailed pending further enquiries.”

Euro 2016 warning: Russian hooligans vow to ‘absolutely obliterate’ Brit fans - 13/05/2016
Source : http://www.dailystar.co.uk/
Hordes of Russian thugs are heading to Marseille plotting the demise of Brit supporters.
The two teams meet in the French capital of crime – the scene of the now-infamous "Battle of Marseille" where English fans violently clashed with locals during the 1998 World Cup.
But this time around could be worse. Much worse.

Police appeal for behaviour amid expectation Wales and England fans could be unsegregated at Euro 2016 - 13/05/2016
Source : http://www.walesonline.co.uk
Police have urged fans to behave in Lens for Wales' Euro 2016 clash with England on June 16 - with many supporters of the two nations expected to be unsegregated.
Supporters from the respective countries who bought the 5,000 allocation of tickets from the Football Association of Wales (FAW) and 6,000 allocation from the English FA will be in separate parts of the ground.
But it is anticipated that the majority of other ticket-holders who took part in pre-tournament ballots will also be British; those tickets are not segregated.
Supt Steve Furnham, of South Wales Police, told BBC Radio Wales' Good Evening Wales programme: "The vast majority of people inside that stadium will be British nationals supporting either England or Wales.
"The French police have got tried and tested procedures and they are well-versed in policing operations and football operations.
"Lens has held games there before and this is not new to our colleagues in Lens or Lens itself, but obviously with thousands of British nationals descending on that town we can expect to see people mingling."
The Stade Bollaert-Delelis is the second-smallest stadium at Euro 2016 with a capacity of 35,000.
In the Pas-de-Calais department, Lens is only the 240th biggest commune in France with a population of 32,000, and is smaller than towns in Wales including Barry , Llanelli and Caerphilly – and half the size of Wrexham.
Fans without tickets have been urged to stay away from Lens or go the nearby city of Lille.
Those who are going to the game should be mindful of a number of high-security measures following terrorist attacks in Paris and Brussels, among which include bags being banned from Euro 2016 stadia, Supt Furnham said.
"What Welsh fans must have in their mind is that the French police are there for the football, but also there for the counter terrorism operation and that will be at the forefront of their mind," he said.
"What we would please, please ask Welsh fans is to behave whilst out there.
"What we do not want to be doing is giving our French colleagues any additional concern or worries on top of what they have got to deal with."

Turkish side Eskisehirspor get relegated, fans set fire to the stadium in protest
Relegation is always disappointing. However, fans of Turkish side Eskisehirspor took their anger too far after it was confirmed they were dropping out of the Turkish Super Lig on Friday. Needing a win to stand any chance of staying up, Eskisehirspor proceeded to lose 2-1 to fourth placed Medipol Basaksehir thanks to a last minute goal from Sokol Cikalleshi. Supporters obviously weren’t happy with this, and proceeded to trash their ground, the Eskisehir Atatürk Stadium, injuring three people in the process. In shocking scenes, they even set the stands on fire. Luckily, the team are moving in to a new stadium next season – which they may have to hope is a bit more fireproof.
