Before that derby game, about 30 masked troublemakers have attacked a pub of locals. It seems these troublemakers are from Brigadas Amarillas Cadiz.

Marseille facing sanctions in French league - 21/09/2015
Source : http://www.usatoday.com
Following a rocky summer marked by the shock resignation of coach Marcelo Bielsa, the nine-time champion has only managed two wins in its first six league games to trail league leader Paris Saint-Germain by seven points.
Marseille players stood up to the challenge of Lyon despite having one less man on the pitch for the entire second-half in Sunday's 1-1 draw, but their fine collective performance was overshadowed by the incidents that marred the game at the Velodrome.
The match was suspended for about 20 minutes in the second half after fans threw projectiles including glass bottles onto the pitch. Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi was hit by a fire bomb but escaped uninjured and police forces were deployed in front of the Marseille kop before the match restarted.
Marseille fans also caused widespread indignation in French media after they hung an effigy of former player Mathieu Valbuena, who was booed during the whole game on his return to the southern club.
With the 2016 European Championship to be held in France next year, Sports secretary Thierry Braillard called for tougher security checks in stadiums.
"This is unacceptable, sports should be festive, this is not war," Braillard told TV channel iTELE on Monday. "You can't show such a bad image when you want to organize big (sporting) events. Indisputably, security procedures failed at the Stade Velodrome."
Marseille president Vincent Labrune condemned the incidents but insisted they were sparked by "some irresponsible persons who put in danger the physical integrity of the people taking part in the game."
Labrune said he met with the club's security staff and that safety nets separating Marseille hardcore fans from the pitch will be reintroduced. He will also meet with the club's supporter groups later this week.

England : 'Mindless thuggery' as 30 Wolves, Albion and Villa fans brawl on train - 19/09/2015
Source : http://www.expressandstar.com/
Up to 30 suspected Wolves, West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa fans were involved in violence on a train where belts were used as weapons, it emerged today.
The fight broke out on the 6.45pm train from Birmingham New Street to Worcester on Saturday.
It followed West Brom's 1-0 win over Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday, while Wolves drew at home to Brighton.
British Transport Police said the fight died down until the train got to Droitwich Spa, when the supporters again began to assault one another - using belts as weapons - before getting off the train at Worcester Foregate Street station.
The suspects are all described as white and in their mid 30s.
Pc Ben Smith from British Transport Police said: “This was a totally unnecessary and mindless act of thuggery, which must have been shocking for the other passengers in the carriage to have witnessed. Those involved should be ashamed of themselves.
“We are committed to stamping out football-related violence on the rail network and we are doing all we can to identify the individuals concerned, including examining CCTV and making enquiries with local police forces.
“While our investigation is in its early stages, we are already in the process of speaking to some members of the public who were on board at the time and we would encourage anyone else who saw what happened to contact us.”
British Transport Police is now appealing for witnesses to the fight.

Fans clash with police as Motherwell's match against Morton is briefly halted due to unrest
FANS clashed with police and stewards during Morton's cup tie against Motherwell last night - after the Greenock side took the lead in extra time.
Referee Greg Aitken halted the game and called both sets of players to the centre circle on 101 minutes while more police reinforcements charged around the track to the scene. Police formed a barrier at the Motherwell end to contain angry supporters.
Stewards and police grappled with fans in the Well support and they spilled onto the track at the traditional Wee Dublin End of Cappielow and behind Morton's goal.

Aston Villa - Birmingham City - 22/09/2015
Source : http://www.itv.com/
Police make 28 arrests at Villa versus Blues derby
Last night's Capital One Cup derby between Aston Villa and Birmingham City at Villa Park "passed off without any major disorder", although 28 people were arrested for offences including violent disorder, invading the pitch and breaching banning orders, police said.
Several windows were smashed at the Manor Tavern Pub in Portland, which led to one person suffering a minor head injury. West Midlands Police said 11 people were arrested in connection with the incident.
The policing operation meant there was little cross-over between the two sets of supporters.
Chief Superintendent Steve Graham, from West Midlands Police, said:
"This was always going to be a challenging fixture for us with the history between Aston Villa and Birmingham City and the fact they hadn’t faced each other in some time.
It is of course disappointing that any disorder broke out during the course of the evening and we reacted quickly to arrest several people in connection with the damage caused to the Manor Tavern Pub.
However the aim of our operation was to engage with fans in the city centre and in the vicinity of the ground to ensure supporters were able to enjoy the evening in safety.
We had put together a significant policing plan which was based on intelligence gathered before the game and I’m pleased that the vast majority of fans behaved well and contributed to an excellent atmosphere at the match.
I want to thank some fans for their patience as they may have been inconvenienced as they made their way back to train stations after full-time. Our experience and intelligence told us that we needed to do everything possible to keep the two groups separate to keep people safe."
Breakdown of arrests
11 men aged from 19 to 49 in connection with disorder at the Manor Tavern pub; Six men on suspicion of public order offences; Two men aged 21 and 27 for breaching football banning orders; Two men aged 44 and 38 on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly; One man aged 32 arrested on suspicion of invading the pitch; One man aged 34 on suspicion of affray; One man aged 25 on suspicion of assault; Four other men were arrested by British Transport Police on suspicion of assault breaching a banning order and two for public order offences.

Tottenham - Arsenal FC - League Cup - 23/09/2015

Police and stewards forced to intervene after Arsenal fans rip up hoardings at White Hart Lane
Arsenal fans are facing the prospect of a police and Football Association investigation after ripping up hoardings at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night as they celebrated their team’s 2-1 Capital One Cup victory.
Police and stewards intervened but were unable to prevent supporters from destroying a significant part of the middle section of the hoardings that divide fans in the away end of Tottenham Hotspur’s ground. The boards that were ripped up were those displaying club slogans and messages. There were also unconfirmed reports of clashes outside White Hart Lane.
Arsenal immediately pledged to help Tottenham and the authorities in their investigations into the disorder that took place inside White Hart Lane as fans waited to be allowed to leave after the game ended. An Arsenal spokesman said that the club were “concerned” at what had happened but stressed that it had involved a minority.
“We will work with Tottenham Hotspur and the authorities on this,” the spokesman said. It is expected that the police and the FA will now seek all available video footage from both Spurs and broadcasters, including Sky Sports, in an attempt to identify those fans that had damaged the ground.
Arsenal could, in theory, face FA disciplinary action over their fans’ behaviour but it is understood that this only applies if they had failed to take necessary measures to prevent any problems occurring.
The Met Police said on Wednesday that there were 10 arrests - for criminal damage, assault and public order offences.

Frankfurt hit with fine over Leeds violence - 23/09/2015
Source : khttp://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk
Eintracht Frankfurt have been hit with a fine of 20,000 euros by Germany’s Football Association for their fans’ involvement in the trouble which marred a friendly against Leeds United in July.
The Bundesliga club accepted a penalty imposed on them as punishment for the violence which broke out before and after the pre-season match in the Austrian town of Eugendorf.
More than 20 arrests were made by police who deployed riot officers to quell the disturbances.
Three Leeds supporters, two police officers and two security officials were injured in the violence, none of them seriously.
Fans from Frankfurt clashed with police ahead of the kick-off and fighting raged between rivals supporters after United fans spilled onto the pitch at the end of Frankfurt’s 2-1 win on July 21.
Eintracht’s followers - some of whom were pictured wearing balaclavas - were eventually herded out of the ground as riot police intervened.
In a statement issued today, the German FA said its sport court had imposed the fine of around £15,000 for the “unsportsmanlike conduct” of Frankfurt’s fans.
“The club has agreed to the judgment, the judgment is therefore final,” the statement added.
At the time, Salzburg Police pointed the finger of blame firmly at a group of Eintracht ‘Ultras’ who they accused of causing “substantial problems” on the day of the match.
Pepper spray was used to disperse fans as police officers attempted to main control in the centre of Eugendorf, 10 miles to the north of Salzburg.
The mayor of Eugendorf has since banned the staging of further friendlies in the town.

England : Leicestershire PC honoured for tackling football hooligans - 23/09/2015
Source : http://www.hinckleytimes.net/
A police officer has been honoured for his bravery as he stood alone between two sets of football hooligans who were throwing bottles and squaring up for a fight.
PC Simon Chamberlain from Leicestershire Police said it could have been “carnage” as he tried to hold apart the 75 fans on his own for eight minutes.
Now the officer, who works as a ‘hooligan spotter’, has been given a commendation for his actions after the Leicester City v Stoke City game in January.
PC Chamberlain, who has been with the force for 14 years, said: “We just got down there as quickly as possible and I did what I could.
“It could have been carnage if I was not there.”
Leicestershire Police said around 50 Foxes fans were drinking in a city centre pub and had arranged to meet with 25 Stoke City fans as their teams played at the King Power Stadium.
PC Chamberlain was patrolling the city along with a colleague from Staffordshire Police when officers saw the potential disorder breaking out on CCTV.
The pair arrived as the rival fans were squaring up to one another and throwing glasses and bottles.
Backup was not available to the officers as the trouble brewed shortly after the final whistle and the roads were busy with supporters leaving the stadium.
He said: “The adrenaline was just running. We got down there and my colleague was just filming everything but I couldn’t just sit and wait.
“Looking back it was a risk and it felt like forever while I was waiting for backup.
“It wasn’t like they could even get through on blue lights because of the traffic. I pressed my emergency button and just did the best I could until more officers arrived.”
PC Chamberlain was forced to act as a human barrier between the two groups of fans for eight minutes until backup arrived at the scene.
His commendation said: “This aggressive behaviour was controlled by the prompt, direct and firm action of Simon who without regard for his personal safety, to prevent innocent members of the public being at risk, had to push people back into their own crowd, as well as activating his emergency button.”

France : Court condemns three Marseille fans over violence - 22/09/2015
Source : http://tenplay.com.au/
Three Marseille supporters were handed prison sentences between four and six months over violent incidents during the weekend clash between their side and Lyon.
The three, aged between 18 and 29, may never see the inside of a jail cell, though, as they were released from the Marseille criminal court pending an appearance before the judge of first instance, who may decide to commute their sentences to community service.
They had been charged with armed assault against public authority figures -- they were caught throwing various objects including stones and glasses at police officers -- in the confines of Marseille's Stade Velodrome before Sunday's match, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
They were also banned from all Marseille matches -- home and away -- for two years, and from any Euro 2016 games.
Two other supporters accused of the same crimes but who asked for more time to prepare their defence, will be judged on October 25, as will another fan accused of setting off a smoke bomb inside the stadium.
After the violent scenes, Marseille decided on Tuesday to put up netting behind the goals at both ends of the Velodrome to prevent objects from being thrown onto the field.
Sunday's match had to be stopped for 20 minutes as home fans threw objects, including bottles and cups, onto the field with Lyon leading 1-0 at the time.

France : Marseille to close sections of Stade Velodrome due to fan behavior - 25/09/2015
Source : http://www.foxsports.com/
Marseille has been ordered to close sections of the Velodrome stadium for its next league match following crowd trouble last weekend.
The French league discipline commission issued the provisional sanction on Thursday after a meeting with Marseille officials. A final decision is to be made on Oct. 15, with the club having just one home game scheduled by then, against Angers on Sunday.
Marseille was sanctioned for its fans' behavior during last Sunday's 1-1 draw with Lyon. The match was suspended for about 20 minutes in the second half after fans threw projectiles including glass bottles onto the pitch. Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi was hit by a fire bomb and police forces were deployed in front of the Marseille kop before the match restarted.

With the 2016 European Championship to be held in France next year, Sports secretary Thierry Braillard called for tougher security checks in stadiums after the incidents.
Marseille president Vincent Labrune has already announced that safety nets separating Marseille fans from the pitch will be reintroduced.
