Argentina: Rosario Central - Newell's Old Boys - 19/10/2014

Source : http://www.globalpost.com

Two killed after football match in Argentina

Two men were killed in separate football-related incidents in Argentina, following a Transition Tournament match, local media reported Monday.

Both killings occurred after Sunday's game between Rosario Central and Newell's, in the town of Rosario, 300 km north of the capital Buenos Aires.

The incidents involved the shooting death of a 39-year-old man and the stabbing death of a 22-year-old. Another eight fans were admitted to different hospitals with serious injuries, the daily La Nacion said on its website.

Martin Acosta and his son were celebrating the hometown team's win in the city's Belgrano district around 6:30 p.m. local time ( 2130 GMT), when a neighbor reportedly angered by the ruckus fired a weapon several times, hitting Acosta in the back.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died around 9 p.m. The neighbor has been identified by the police, but remains at large.

The second victim, Lautaro Bova, according to eyewitness accounts, was walking with other fellow fans in the Castellanos y Centeno part of the city around 7 p.m. local time (2200 GMT), when a group of men reportedly sporting Newell's colors attacked, stabbing Bova in the chest. He died minutes after being admitted to hospital.

Police officers arrested the 35-year-old assailant, said La Nacion.

Rosario has been plagued by rising crime in recent years, much of it blamed on clashes between rival drug trafficking rings.

Police detain 6 people after fan death in Brazil - 20/10/2014

Source : https://news.yahoo.com

Brazilian police have detained six people after a confrontation that left a 21-year-old football fan dead this weekend, marking the third death involving rival supporter groups in Sao Paulo this year.

Authorities said Monday that the six men will be interrogated to explain their participation in the fighting that took place on a major highway just hours before the Brazilian league game between Palmeiras and Santos on Sunday at the Pacaembu Stadium.

Four people remained hospitalized, including one with a gunshot wound. Their condition was not immediately released, though local media reported the injuries were not life-threatening.

Police said the man who died was run over by a car after he and other Palmeiras fans went onto the highway to try to ambush two buses carrying Santos supporters.

Palmeiras fans tried to block the buses and used rocks and pieces of wood in the attack. Authorities believe a Santos supporter shot at the Palmeiras fans. Three of the injured were also run over as drivers tried to flee the confrontation. Police were investigating whether Santos fans who were driving along the buses tried to hit the rivals on purpose.

Authorities had to partially block the busy highway that links the coastal city of Santos to Sao Paulo for nearly two hours.

Another Palmeiras fan died in August after a clash against Corinthians supporters before a league match. The 31-year-old man was hit on the head with iron bars and pieces of wood. The fight broke out after rival groups crossed paths at a train station outside Sao Paulo.

In February, a Santos fan was beaten to death by Sao Paulo supporters at a bus stop after a match between the teams.

This month, a fan of second-division club Avai died when a group of men threw rocks at the van he was in after a match. Police said at the time the attack likely came from a rival group.

There have been several other cases of violence inside and outside stadiums across Brazil this year, with fans using iron bars, homemade explosives and knives in confrontations. There were fights in at least three stadiums last month, and four Atletico Mineiro fans heading to a match sustained minor injuries after being shot at while at a bus stop.

Two different Corinthians fan groups clashed recently while fighting for spots at the team's new arena, and members of a Palmeiras group threw rocks and bottles at the team's bus after a loss earlier this year.

The fan violence has prompted Brazil's sports tribunal to punish a few clubs, including Corinthians and league leader Cruzeiro, making them play in front of empty stands or away from their stadiums.

Violent clash between Hungary and Romania football hooligans caught in first person footage - 20/10/2014

Source : http://www.mirror.co.uk

Shocking video appears to have been taken at a bad-tempered Euro qualifier at Arena Națională in Bucharest - which was marred by violence on and off the field

A violent clash between rival football hooligans has been captured by one using a chest-mounted GoPro camera.

The shocking point-of-view footage appears to have been taken a recent Euro 2016 qualifier between Hungary and Romania.

A horde of masked fans can be seen congregating in the top stand of Arena Națională in Bucharest.

A number of them then vault a fence to square off with security and opposing supporters - a section of fencing is also thrown in their direction.

There is then a flurry of violence as the camera operator yells and launches himself at another man. Flares can be heard and seen going off throughout the ground.

The Hungarian fans then flee as they are pursued by a large group of the opposition. A police man can then be seen using pepper spray.

According to the YouTube footage, the cameraman is part of a group of 30 hooligans supporting Hungarian club Ferencvaros.

The game on October 11 was marred by violence on and off the field - with supporters clashing in the stands before, during and after the match.

Reports claimed Hungarian fans set fire to seats after disallowed goal and police sprayed tear gas to calm the crowds.

Scottish referee William Collum was gave out 12 yellow cards during the match which finished 1-1.

Galatasaray, Basel fined over crowd trouble - 20/10/2014

Source : http://uk.reuters.com

Galatasaray have been fined 50,000 euros (39,593 pounds) and ordered to pay Arsenal for damages after their fans set off fireworks and caused trouble at their Champions League in London this month, UEFA said on Monday.

FC Basel, Feyenoord and Standard Liege have also been fined over trouble at recent European club matches, while Andorra and Wales have been sanctioned over a pitch invasion during their Euro 2016 qualifier in September.

UEFA's disciplinary panel found Galatasaray fans guilty of "setting off/throwing of fireworks and missiles" and "crowd disturbance" during the Turkish side's 4-1 defeat in a Group D match at the Emirates Stadium on Oct. 1.

"The Turkish team have also been ordered to contact Arsenal within 30 days for the settlement of the damages caused by its supporters," said UEFA.

No measures were taken against Arsenal who had been charged with insufficient organisation due to an alleged lack of body searching, UEFA said.

Swiss champions FC Basel were fined 40,000 euros after their fans threw objects onto the field during the 1-0 home win over Liverpool in a Group B match the same evening.

Basel were twice in trouble with UEFA last season.

They were ordered to play a Europa League tie at home to Valencia behind closed doors after their fans caused trouble in a match away to Salzburg and were fined after Greenpeace activists interrupted their Champions League match against Schalke 04 with a protest against tournament sponsors Gazprom.

Feyenoord were fined 15,000 euros because of blocked stairways at their Europa League match at home to Standard Liege on Oct. 2 and the Belgian side must pay 17,000 euros after their fans set off fireworks and caused disturbances.

Wales were fined 5,000 euros after their fans ran onto the pitch following a 2-1 win away to Andorra on Sept. 9, while the hosts were fined 10,000 euros for insufficient organisation and "improper conduct of the team" for picking up five or more yellow cards.

Source : http://www.buenosairesherald.com

Boca hooligans cleared of 2011 murder

Three members of Boca Juniors' "12" hooligan group, including alleged leader Mauro Martín, have been cleared of involvement in the murder of Ernesto Cirino, who was killed in the City neighbourhood of Liniers in 2011.

The judgement was handed down by the 24th Criminal Court and absolves Martín, his brother-in-law Gustavo Petrinelli and Maximiliano Mazzaro of the charges.

All three defendents had been held on remand prior to the trial, standing accused of the murder of Cirino following a neighbourhood dispute with Petrinelli on August 29 2011.

Blues fans attacked in unprovoked incident in Lille

Reports of an incident involving Everton fans in Lille have surfaced on Twitter, marring the first night in France for a section of what is expected to be a large contingent of travelling Blues.
A group of Everton supporters in the northern French city for tomorrow's Europa League match were set upon by 50 to 100 local youths this evening and then experienced what observers described as a heavy-handed and indiscriminate response as authorities moved in with tear gas.

Tweets from fans who were present suggest that some Evertonians suffered injuries during the incident which occurred outside The Australian Bar in the city. The Liverpool Echo's Greg O'Keeffe reports that the gang used metal chairs as weapons as they tried to force their way into the bar where Everton fans were congregated.

The doorman of the pub described the attack, saying: "The Lille hooligans just appeared from the Place Louise de Bettignies across the road, from a side street, and just ran at the pub.

"There were some Everton fans outside smoking and they got caught cold. The hooligans picked up chairs we had stacked up outside and attacked them while others used them to smash windows and try to get inside."

Travelling English fans have in recent years been the target of such attempts to incite a reaction given the reputation for hooliganism that plagued the country's teams in the 1980s. It is not clear who was involved in tonight's incident but often the perpetrators of such attacks aren't fans of the local team or even football fans at all.

Local police, meanwhile, have promised a sizeable presence around the city in the lead-up to the game as they look to avoid the trouble that flared up between Lille and PSV Eindhoven fans three years ago.

Evertonians making the trip are advised that they may be barred from the centre of the city without a match ticket and that no consumption of alcohol will be permitted in the streets.

Everton fans attacked by up to '100 hooded hooligans' in France ahead of Europa League game against Lille

A group of Everton fans were attacked in a seemingly unprovoked attack in Lille city centre late on Wednesdsay night ahead of their Europa League game on Thursday.
Up to 100 hooded Lille supporters ambushed English fans drinking outside the city's Australian bar close to 10pm local time after a peaceful day in the northern French city in which supporters of both clubs seemed to be getting along.
Police arrived on the scene within minutes to disperse the trouble with gas but eye-witnesses reported a number of injuries with some Everton fans suffering bloodied head wounds.

Early reports say the attack started when a group of visiting fans were smoking outside the bar and were attacked by an apparently-well organised group of French hooligans.
A doorman at the bar told the Liverpool Echo: 'The atmosphere was nice all day. The Everton fans were singing, showing us their flags and having fun. All very respectful. In the evening they watched the Liverpool game and towards the end of that match it happened. It was bad.
'The Lille hooligans just appeared from the Place Louise de Bettignies across the road, from a side street, and just ran at the pub. There were some Everton fans outside smoking and they got caught cold.
'The hooligans picked up chairs we had stacked up outside and attacked them while others used them to smash windows and try to get inside.
'We had to try and stop the Everton supporters inside from getting out to help because it would have got far worse. I went out to try and drag them in.

'I saw one older English guy being punched by about three Lille hooligans. His face was bleeding badly. I am so sorry for what happened.'
Windows were smashed forcing the bar to be closed early as police waded in to quell the trouble, although some Everton fans complained of heavy-handed treatment.
TV commentator Sam Matterface, who will be covering the game for ITV4 on Thursday alongside pundit Clarke Carlisle, said: 'Not a great night in the Australian Bar in Lille. EFC (Everton) fans claiming they were attacked . We walked into it late - blue lights, police, gas.'

The sudden burst of violence was in contrast to a pleasant day in Lille with the first of several thousand Everton fans expected for the match arrived by plane or at the Eurostar train terminal.
There may be up to seven thousand fans from Merseyside in town by kick off and police are certain to up their presence and may seek to impose an alcohol ban around the stadium.

Rubber bullets fired at Everton fans in Lille ahead of Europa League game

Season 14/15 - October - Page 4 301596lilleeverton4

French riot police fired a stun grenade and rubber bullets in a stand-off with Everton fans in Lille.
At least one Briton is believed to have been injured as supporters clashed with officials ahead of a Europa League match.
Police are said to have released tear gas in a bid to disperse crowds angry that a young Everton fan had been arrested on suspicion of selling drugs in the city centre square.
Witnesses, who described the scenes at about 1pm as a "ridiculous police overreaction", said one man had been hit in the head.
French officials claimed the arrest "sparked a hostile reaction" and police fired rubber bullets in defence when missiles were thrown at officers.

Everton fans are in the northern French city ahead of the side facing Lille in a Europa League group-stage match.
A French embassy spokesman said: "Police responsible for security in the main square, where about 1,000 British fans had gathered ahead of the Europa League match between Lille and Everton, noticed that one of them – already spotted in yesterday’s brawl – was selling drugs.
"The individual was arrested, but the action sparked a hostile reaction against the police, who had missiles thrown at them.
"Intervention teams drove back the rioters, using a stun grenade and firing twice with rubber bullets in self-defence.
"No members of the security forces were hurt, and no further arrests were made.
"The individual arrested over the drugs was remanded in custody at the local police station, which has been tasked with the investigation."

The incident comes after two Everton fans suffered face injuries when they were attacked by around 50 Lille supporters, some armed with metal chairs, in a city centre bar on Wednesday night.
Earlier, a statement on the club's website said: "The club has been made aware of an isolated incident in a bar in Lille on Wednesday evening in which a number of Evertonians were attacked by a group of around 50 local men.
"The club understands that two Everton fans suffered minor facial injuries and were taken to the local hospital and that this was the only incident in what was otherwise a good-natured evening in the city centre.

"The club are in continual contact with Merseyside police officers who are in Lille today and the city's police representatives.

"Supporters travelling to tonight's match are advised to utilise the travel information provided on the official website where updates on any safety matters will also be provided."

A Europa League match between former Czechoslovak rivals Slovan Bratislava and Sparta Prague had to be interrupted for more than half an hour due to fighting between fans.
Swedish referee Martin Strombergsson interrupted the game in the 41st minute after Sparta fans attacked Slovan supporters in the stands.

The match continued only after order was restored by riot police who were deployed with an apparent delay.

Sparta won 3-0.

It was the first match between the two most famous Czech and Slovak teams since Czechoslovakia split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993.

Enraged fans attack, damage Napoli team bus in Switzerland

It's one thing to be angry about a result. It's one thing to hate a manager, or particular players. Raging about it in a blog or forum or on Twitter or whatever your medium of choice is on thing, but to take that emotion and turn it in to a physical, violent reaction crosses the line in a big way.

Unfortunately, a group of Napoli fans didn't just cross that line, they sprinted past it without a glance or second thought.

According to reports filtering out of Switzerland, a very large group of Napoli fans waited for the team bus to prepare to leave the stadium, then confronted it as it tried to make its way out. Some simply screamed and yelled and voiced their frustrations, but a large portion of that group took it to another level, attacking the bus and causing a fair amount of damage in the process.

Fortunately there were no injuries reported, just rattled emotions and frayed nerves. That, however, does not change one simple, incontrovertible fact: these actions are completely unacceptable.

Again, it's one thing to be upset or angry by a result like today's. Lord knows I was plenty pissed off by what I saw. But for fans to feel like it's OK or justified to do something like this goes so far beyond the pale of "acceptable behavior" that it's not even on the same map any more. Attacking the team bus isn't being a "super fan" or "Ultra" or anything else beyond being a thug and a criminal.

Hopefully these fans are identified and punished in some way, for this was a criminal action. Letting them get away unscathed will only invite more such actions in the future, and that's a road no one should want to see us go down. There's ways of dealing with such anger that are much healthier, not just for those around you, but for yourself as well. Succumbing to such blind rage is never the answer.

Uefa awards Serbia 3-0 Euro 2016 win over Albania but deducts three points - 24/10/2014

Source : http://www.theguardian.com

Serbia will have to play their next two European qualifying matches behind closed doors as punishment for the chaos that enveloped their match with Albania in Belgrade last week but both sides have been sanctioned by Uefa.

The Guardian has learned that Uefa’s disciplinary committee has decided to sanction both teams, with Serbia and Albania each being fined €100,000 (£78,000) and the home side being awarded a 3-0 victory. However, neither side will get any points, because Serbia have also been docked three points.

The decision has already been labelled a “travesty” by lawyers for the Albanian FA, which believes its players were placed in mortal danger by the Serbians’ inability to control the crowd in Belgrade.

It was the surreal appearance of a remote-control drone, hovering low over the pitch bearing a flag for “Greater Albania” that sparked scenes of violence.

The Albanian players fled from the pitch while being attacked by fans and stewards, later refusing to return and causing the match to be abandoned.

The brother of the Albanian prime minister was accused of flying the drone but he denied it. Uefa is no closer to finding out who was responsible.

It was the first match between the two sides in the Serbian capital since 1967 but, despite the tension between the nations following the Kosovo conflict and that disputed territory’s declaration of independence in 2008, Uefa did not keep the teams apart in the qualifying draw.

The ruling has already been labelled a “travesty” by sources close to the Albanian FA, which believes its players faced unprecedented provocation from the crowd, who pelted them with stones and lighters and chanted “Kill the Albanians”.

They argue that the players were justified in refusing to return to the field because they feared for their lives.

Chimi Shakohoxha, a partner at the law firm Clarke Wilmott, was at the match as part of the official Albanian delegation and said he saw banners featuring war criminals and constantly heard racist chanting.

The match, from which away fans were banned under an agreement between the two countries, was halted for the second time by the English referee Martin Atkinson in the 41st minute after flares were hurled on to the pitch.

The drone then hovered into view, clearly displaying the flag, which hung close to the pitch before being grabbed by the Serbia defender, Stefan Mitrovic. When several Albanian players attempted to take it from him, a mêlée ensued.

Television pictures showed Serbian fans and stewards attempting to attack the Albanian players, who refused to return to the pitch. Following a tense half-hour wait, Atkinson abandoned the match.

Serbia were formally charged with setting off fireworks, crowd disturbance, a pitch invasion, “insufficient organisation” and the use of a laser pen.

Albania were charged with refusing to play and the “display of an illicit banner”. Branislav Ivanovic, the Chelsea defender, said Serbia wanted to play on but their Albanian opponents were “unfit physically and mentally” to return to the field.

According to Serbia, they asked Uefa to finish the match, which was goalless, after emptying the stadium or to replay it this week but the Albanian FA refused. The incident was the latest in a string of controversies involving disorder by Serbian fans.

In a rambling 1,500-word statement the Serbian FA placed the blame for the incident firmly on the Albanian players and officials, claiming they were “accomplices” to a plan that was a “pre-planned terrorist action”.

“The incident itself and the behaviour of the Albanian players, coach and staff leaves no room for doubt that they were part of a synchronised plan to stop the match,” the FSS claimed.

The Albanian FA said their players were attacked not only by fans and stewards but also by police as they fled for the dressing room. Their captain, Lorik Cana, said it was a “miracle” that no one was seriously injured.

Shakohoxha said he expected the Albanian FA to appeal. “This is a travesty. It’s a cop-out. We are totally committed to banishing racism from football and this judgment appears to fly in the face of that aim. This is not about the points; it’s about fighting racism.”

Shocking injury inflicted on elderly Everton FC fan after French police fire tear-gas and rubber ‘flash-balls’ at supporters in Lille - 24/10/2014

Source : http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk

Riot squad shot tear-gas canisters and rubber bullets the 'size of golf balls' at fans in the city’s Grand Place

This is the shocking injury inflicted on an elderly Everton FC fan when French police fired tear-gas and two rubber ‘flash-balls’ at supporters in Lille.

Violent clashes between French police and Everton fans in Lille were sparked by the sighting of a known football hooligan and a suspected drug dealer.

Two rubber bullets the size of golf balls were fired at Blues fans after bottles were hurled at officers as they moved in to make arrests.

Riot police also used tear-gas in the city’s Grand Place, which was condemned by travelling Toffees as “overzealous” and “heavy-handed”.

It is not known for certain whether the man pictured was hit by a tear-gas canister or one of the flash-balls, which French police confirmed were part of their response.

Flash-balls are 44mm projectiles designed as a “less-lethal” alternative to a firearm.

However, their use by French police has been criticised by human rights groups, as they have led to loss of eyesight and a man in Marseille died in 2009 from a heart attack after being shot with the weapon – described by its inventor as having the same force as being “punched by Mike Tyson”.

The ECHO understands the jovial mood around the square turned sour at around 2.15pm when a Merseyside police “spotter” travelling with the Blues contingent alerted his French counterparts to the sighting of a known hooligan and a suspected drug dealer.

A spokesman for the local force said officers wanted to arrest the men but came under attack from fans who were unaware that they were police.

Officers took refuge while riot police assembled, who then used tear gas and flash-balls to disperse the crowds.

One ECHO staff member caught up in the drama saw the OAP who was injured after being hit by some form of projectile.

He said: “There was an elderly guy probably in his 70s with a big chunk out of his head.

“A member of his family was holding the remains of a bit of plastic, which he said was fired at him.”Everton drew 0-0 with Lille in their Europa League clash last night, which saw the Blues remain top of Group H.

Lille hooligan jailed over Everton fan bar brawl - 25/10/2014

Source : http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk

Up to 100 hooligans swarmed into Australian bar in French city, attacking Blues fans

A FRENCH football hooligan who was among thugs who stormed a bar where Everton fans were drinking was jailed.

Blues fans came under attack from up to 100 louts in Lille on Wednesday night ahead of a Europa League clash between the clubs.

They were attacked with metal chairs and battered by the thugs - and then claimed they were sprayed with CS gas by police who ignored their pleas for help.

A suspected Lille ‘ultra’ - known only as Tomasz S - was arrested on Thursday after being recognised by police.

The 30-year-old appeared in court on Friday and was jailed for eight months.

According to French newspaper, La Voix du Nord, Tomasz S was linked by police to Lille’s hooligan faction.

In court, he reportedly denied being linked to the ‘ultras’ and despite having the phrase ‘LOSC (Lille Olympique Sporting Club) Army’ tattooed on his knuckles denied being interested in football or knowing there was a game.

He admitted punching an Everton fan but claimed he acted in self-defence.

But a judge rejected that assertion and jailed him immediately for eight months. The court heard he had a history of football-related disorder.

Everton fans told how they were enjoying a peaceful afternoon and evening at the Australian bar when the terrifying unprovoked attack happened.

Brothers Simon and Steven Wakenshaw, sons of former Everton player Robbie Wakenshaw, were also outside when the Lille fans appeared from a side street and sprinted towards them.

Simon was hit repeatedly on the back and neck with a chair as he tried to help his brother who was being kicked in the head.

Steven, 26, who is originally from Crosby but now lives in Tenerife, said: “It was horrific. Like a scene from Green Street. It came out of nowhere.

“We tried to get back inside but the bouncers had locked the doors. The police came very quickly.”

The ECHO’s Everton reporter Greg O’Keeffee, who was in Lille, said the thugs used metal chairs to batter fans outside. He said local police “indiscriminately used gas on EFC fans asking for help”.

On Thursday, French riot police fired tear gas canisters and flash balls at travelling fans after trouble flared in Lille’s main square.

Violent clashes erupted between riot officers and fans in the city’s main square after plainclothes cops chased a suspected football hooligan and suspected drug dealer.

An Everton spokesman said: “We will continue to work closely with the French and Merseyside Police, in conjunction with the club’s own security team, to better understand the two isolated but serious incidents that occurred in Lille ahead of our Europa League fixture this week.”

Appeal against Salafists: Hooligans want to “defend Germany” - 25/10/2014

Source : http://www.nationalturk.com

For years they fight with each other, now they have a common enemy: German hooligans unite against Salafists. On Sunday they want to show in Cologne thousands. The police are warned.

They swear, they insult, they crosslink continues: On social media channels, in internal chats, send a text message call football violence perpetrators on to “finally to defend Germany”. Alone on Facebook garnered the group “hooligans against Salafists” (HoGeSa) in the meantime more than 40,000 likes given. On Sunday it will come in Cologne to a nationwide demonstration. The biggest of its kind.

The organizers pride themselves on “5700 applications”, the Cologne police expectations are for “1000-1500 participants” as their spokesman Christoph Gilles says. The latter may be more realistic, but even with such a number of participants of the group would be the demonstration of power succeeded in its planned since its inception: “All to Cologne” says the social network for weeks, the biggest rally in Dortmund (350 participants) must be “dwarfed”.

This should succeed without problems, especially as the group that originally consisted almost entirely of right-wing hooligans and their existence made public in early May, “lately belonging feed had”, as emphasized Gilles. Even hooligans from Wales, Austria and Poland are expected in Cologne. The network, which is grown in large parts of the group GnuHonnters, for some time now also works with mostly right hooligans of other European countries.

In addition, both place and time are well chosen: Cologne is predestined by its location for nationwide meetings, especially the southwest, the Rhineland and the Ruhr area – ie the three geographical focal points of “HoGeSa” – are conveniently located. Is correspondingly high level of mobilization, have dozens of carpooling in the last day

Appeal against Salafists:No program, no prepared speakers

The opposite side is alerted. Two counter-demonstrations have announced themselves. They will demonstrate in front of the Cologne Central Station, “HoGeSa” meets at the back door. Fears that both groups clash, scattered police spokesman Gilles: “If one of the two groups should make the attempt to attack each other, we will be having enough officers on the ground to prevent that.” However, one must wait and see if it succeed organizers to ensure a peaceful manner.

Last in Dortmund observers had the impression that most participants only waited for either the Antifa or Salafists come around the corner, so it could come to the longed-for confrontation. When this failed to materialize, the hooligans did not really know what they should do with their time. There was no program, no prepared speakers. So the meeting seemed more like waiting for Godot.

Those who in recent weeks has seen the relevant forum, which has been renamed from “Hooligans against Salafists” in “Together we are strong,” came again and again to the same conflict. Some spokesmen challenge you to “stay peaceful”, “let not provoke” and “only black-red-gold flags Germany” bring – you would not be found “in the Nazi-corner”. And actually remind individual forum participants, to remember the alleged target. This was the fight of Salafism, not the Nazi propaganda. It was “apolitical”.

Appeal against Salafists:The group wants to give a “non-partisan”

However, with this distinction, the majority of the clientele feels obviously not well described. Open symbols are right abound posted, are readily relevant protagonists right-wing parties to identify open neo-Nazis, including members of various fraternities as the forbidden “free network South”, the NPD or the party “rights”. Even some members of the now banned “National Resistance” have apparently found in HoGeSa a new focal point. The group acts as hardly feasible, but in essence extremely violent.

Proudly presented followers of the group earlier this week also a song of Bremer Hool-band “Category C”, the concerts of Nazi leaders like Sascha Wagner and Christian Hehl can organize and occurred even at NPD celebrations.
The assignee of the rally in Dortmund is no stranger. Dominik Roeseler is a member of the right-wing populist party “Pro NRW” and held office as councilor of Mönchengladbach. Since it is politically clear to you, he was last attacked by some forum users and urged as a “regional leader” resign. The group wants to give the public as “non-partisan”.

According to the Cologne police but Roeseler is still the organizer of the event. Official chairman, however, is a “political blank slate” from southern Germany.

CSKA Sofia coach knocked out by snowball in derby marred by crowd trouble

CSKA Sofia coach Stoycho Mladenov was knocked unconscious by a snowball thrown from rival Levski Sofia supporters as crowd trouble marred Bulgaria's most explosive derby fixture on Saturday.
On a snow-bound day when police detained 57 suspected football hooligans before leaders CSKA's 3-0 win, Mladenov was hit in the head by the snowball in the early stages of the game and collapsed on to the athletics track surrounding the pitch before coming round.
"They hit me with a snowball and I lost consciousness," Mladenov complained to reporters after he had recovered. "It's not the first, second or third Levski offence.
"They should throw them out of the group! Tomorrow, someone could die."
Police detained the suspected hooligans before the 137th "eternal derby", as the fixture between the two most popular clubs in Bulgaria is known, was marred by crowd trouble.
Bulgaria's interior ministry said in a statement most had been held on their way to the Vasil Levski national stadium in the centre of Sofia for carrying prohibited objects, including missiles, torches, knives, a sword and a machete.
Still, it did not stop trouble at the match, which was interrupted for several minutes after Mladenov had been hit as the two sets of coaching staff and a dozen players became involved in a skirmish.
Later, after CSKA's third goal, Levski fans broke the safety fences and more than several dozen invaded the athletics track, forcing more than a hundred policemen to bar them from making their way to the pitch.
The fixture has a long history of crowd violence. A 30-year-old man was killed by a bomb in 2000 and hooliganism and arrests have been rife since then.
Extra police officers were on hand to monitor the fans in the city centre and around the stadium.
CSKA had criticised hosts Levski for poor organisation and asked the match delegate and referee to postpone the match due to the heavy snowfall and snow-bound pitch but the officials turned down the appeal.
