Visé announced 10 lads one hour and a half but finally they arrived with 7. Charleroi only sent 12 youth and the rest stayed behind. Charleroi won as Visé ran away.

Argentine match suspended after flares explode near keeper
Angry Estudiantes captain Juan Sebastian Veron remonstrated with his own team's fans after flares they threw left Banfield goalkeeper Cristian Lucchetti disorientated and caused their match to be suspended on Monday. Lucchetti suffered "acoustic trauma on two occasions", Banfield's doctor Jorge Aguerreche said after the goalkeeper went down holding his ears from the explosions of two flares thrown from the home supporters' end of the ground early in the Apertura championship match. "The two explosions (seven minutes apart) caused a state of general confusion (in Lucchetti) but he won't suffer consequences," Aguerreche told reporters outside the visitors' dressing room after the match was suspended in the 13th minute. Lucchetti played on after the first incident and Banfield took a 1-0 lead with a goal by Uruguayan former Estudiantes striker Rodrigo Lopez in the ninth minute of the match between the bottom two teams in the Apertura standings. "Get down... get down or I'll beat you up," Veron shouted to fans who had clambered up the perimeter fencing. Strikers Gaston Fernandez and Mauro Boselli joined Veron in remonstrating with the fans from behind the goal after the second explosion. Estudiantes president Enrique Lombardi said the club were trying to eradicate the hooligan element from their matches. "We're fighting against these groups (of hooligans) and it seems this is the price we have to pay (but) we'll continue to fight against (soccer) violence," Lombardi told match broadcasters TV Publica.
NO GUARANTEES
Referee Fernando Echenique suspended the match after Lucchetti told him he could not play on and the chief of the police contingent at the ground said he could not guarantee fans would not cause more trouble. There was no explanation as to how fans had managed to smuggle flares into the ground.

Bosnian hooligans jailed over football violence - 23/11/2011
Source : Agence France-Presse
A court in Bosnia jailed 10 fans of the top-flight FK Sarajevo football club for up to 10 months Monday over hooligan violence in which one person was killed.
The group were among several hundred FK Sarajevo’s supporters who provoked the violence at the match with Siroki Brijeg in October 2009, national radio quoted judge Franjo Ravlija as saying.
They threw stones and bricks at the police on duty at the match that was followed by violent clashes between fans of the rival sides.
One 24-year old Sarajevo supporter was killed while about 30 people, among them 16 policemen, were injured.
A person charged with a murder was still at large, probably hiding in neighbouring Croatia, the radio said.

Manchester City fan injured ahead of Champions League clash in Naples
A Manchester City fan was hospitalised when trouble flared ahead of the Blues clash with Napoli last night.
The supporter, who has not been named, was attacked and left needing 12 stitches in a head wound in Sorrento, around 30 miles down the coast from Naples.
He is said to have made a good recovery, was later discharged and was expected to be at the Stadio San Paolo for this evening's crunch Champions League clash.
The M.E.N. revealed last week that City bosses had written to 800 fans expected to travel warning them not to show club colours until they entered the 60,000 capacity ground.
A number of safety tips were also given after six fans of German club Bayern Munich were stabbed before their club took on Napoli last month.
Last year four Liverpool supporters were attacked in the port city before a Europa League.

Zenit Saint Petersburg - APOEL Nicosia - 23/11/2011
Source : http://rt.com
The match was marred by the thuggish behavior of Zenit supporters who disrupted play by setting off smoke bombs.
The drama got thicker in the 37th minute, as the constant smoke from the fireworks lit by Zenit`s ultras covered the entire pitch. Brych stopped the game for several minutes as the thick layer totally enveloped the field.
Brych must have been rattled, considering how rare it is for smoke to interrupt Champions League matches. Both teams waited on the field until Brych decided to resume the match.
Zenit`s fans got in the way of the team`s attack in the 55th minute, setting off another round of fireworks that lasted even longer than the first time. Brych didn`t wait on the pitch this time, calling his staff and both teams’ players with him to the locker rooms. While some fans kept singing and lighting fires, other fans waited with baited breath to see if Brych would bring the teams back or not.
Thankfully, he did not abort the match, coming back onto the pitch with the players once the smoke finally died off.

Seven arrested after APOEL victory
FOOTBALL fans smashed cars, attacked a rival team’s clubhouse and torched rubbish bins in Nicosia on Wednesday evening as they celebrated APOEL’s historical qualification in the last 16 of the Champions League. Police said they arrested seven youths aged between 17 and 25 in connection to the trouble. According to police spokesman, Michalis Katsounotos, the seven were part of some 3,000 APOEL fans that filled the capital’s streets at around 9pm, after their team’s away game against Zenit in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The final score was 0-0. Katsounotos said that a small group of “so-called fans” were caught in possession of steel bars, wooden rods, bats and other dangerous objects. The Fire Department was called in on 17 occasions to set out fires in rubbish bins, while hooligans also damaged two police cars and a fire engine at Makarios Avenue, near APOEL’s clubhouse. During the celebrations, unknown individuals attacked the clubhouse of archrivals Omonia -- smashing windows -- and cars parked nearby. A 17-year-old and an 18-year-old were arrested outside the Omonia clubhouse and face charges of rioting, illegal possession of an assault instrument, common assault and disturbing the peace. Katsounotos said that some of those arrested were picked up after being spotted hurling flares while driving around the city. Two of the car’s passengers, aged 25, admitted intentionally lighting up the flares. Katsounotos condemned the hooligan violence in the streets, lamenting the fact that “even celebrations of a victory or a success are proven problematic.” Those arrested were charged and released. APOEL has not issued an official statement yet.

Dresden banned from German Cup after violence - 25/11/2011
Source : AFP
Second division outfit Dynamo Dresden have been kicked out of next season's German Cup following violence by fans in last month's exit to Dortmund. "This verdict is designed to send out a strong signal ... If we let things lie then it would only be a matter of time until someone dies," German Football Federation (DFB) official Hans E. Lorenz, who announced the decision overnight Thursday. Dresden, the first club to be excluded from the competition, have leave to appeal. The DFB acted after some fans of the club - hugely successful in the defunct East Germany but who have since fallen from grace - sparked violent incidents in the 2-0 loss to Dortmund on October 24 which saw two policemen injured and 15 people arrested.

Football fans arrested for homophobic chants at Brighton match
Two men have been questioned by police after allegedly chanting homophobic abuse at Brighton fans during Saturday’s (November 19) Albion game.
The pair, both Southampton fans, were arrested after allegedly singing offensive anti-gay chants during the match, which was attended by more than 3,000 Brighton fans.
They were arrested by officers from Hampshire police during the game at Southampton’s St Mary’s Stadium.
People reported offensive singing in the stands despite police warning Southampton fans before the match that any homophobic chanting would be taken seriously.
The arrests, which are believed to be among the first of their kind, come just weeks after Albion fans said they believed they were targeted because of the city’s large gay population.
John Hewitt, the chairman of Brighton and Hove Albion Supporters’ Club, said: “We get it everywhere we go.
“The ground regulations say you cannot use homophobic behaviour.
"There’s a certain amount of banter between fans, but when it crosses that line and becomes offensive it’s not acceptable.”
A spokesman on behalf of the Brighton-based Justin Campaign, which works to tackle homophobia in football, said: “Southampton fans were warned before the game by police that any homophobic chanting would be taken seriously.
“While there is still a lot of work for equality in the game, these arrests do show that the authorities are taking positive action to show homophobia is not welcome in the beautiful game.”
Two Brighton fans were also questioned by police after the game – one of suspicion of throwing a bottle and another on suspicion of a public order offence.

Four Dunfermline fans have been arrested over racial chanting at their team's game against Celtic in Glasgow on Wednesday night.
The men, aged 22, 20 and two 19-year-olds, were arrested in Dunfermline following a joint operation by Fife Constabulary and Strathclyde Police.
They are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
The officers from Strathclyde Police were part of the newly-formed Football Co-ordination Unit for Scotland.
The four men were arrested following an incident during the game at Celtic Park, where it is alleged a small group of Dunfermline fans were involved in chanting racial comments towards the home support.
The game was won 2-1 by Celtic.
'Clear message'
Sup David Brand, a member of the new football co-ordination unit, said: "This operation again demonstrates the close working partnership between the new national unit and Scottish forces to eradicate sectarian, racial or offensive songs at football matches across Scotland.
"It also sends a clear message to offenders that this type of behaviour will not be tolerated and through post-investigations, we will attempt to identify and arrest those responsible.
"We will continue working in close liaison with our colleagues across Scotland to crack down on those minority fans that are intent in engaging in this type of behaviour."
Dunfermline Athletic FC's safety officer, Kenny Arnott, added: "We have been working with the police to stamp out this kind of behaviour, we fully support actions to prevent and detect those involved.
"Dunfermline is a family-friendly club and we welcome actions which will improve the experience for people attending football games."

Lyon - Ajax Amsterdam - 22/11/2011
Source : Mail (thanks to the sender) Ajax
Night before Lyon - Ajax a small group of Ajax of 20-25 persons are getting together for a drink in a pub in the old centre of Lyon. Some Lyon drive by and asking if they want something, the Ajax group dont have a problem with that so they waited for the group of Lyon to come back. After a while the group of Lyon came back to the pub, the small Ajax group get out of the pub and the Lyon boys of +- 40 persons are throwing with all kind of stuff, the Ajax group are waiting for the right time and get then to attack Lyon. Lyon group are getting backword and running away, after a minut they are coming back and again the Ajax group is attacking but again the group of Lyon is gone, the police are coming and both groups are going there own way.
The tension rises at 19:30 and the Ajax group decided to walk from the Old centre of Lyon to the subway station. The group consisted of a man or a total of 100/150 which most young boys. The mob finally decided to tackle another subway station because of all the cops. The Ajax group went underground in over 2 groups because it was very busy in the subway. One stop before the stadium the young group of Ajax go out of the station in the hope they will meet the group of Lyon. There was a lot of police outside the subway station and they walked along behind the group. Few minutes before there are some small fights between the group of Lyon and the police but at that moment the group of Ajax have no idea of that. The time is now 20:30, its 15 minutes before the match starts. Ajax group are walking in the street and hope to see the group of Lyon, but some guys of Lyon came to the front guys of Ajax and told them to follow them if they want to meet the mob of Lyon. But after 100 meter Ajax took there our plan and egg after they rounded the corner and walked for 50 to 100 meters. Then the 2 groups see each other, but Ajax is not completed because almost 50% of the totally subway group was not there. But they can't wait, it's now or never. The bottles and stoned and firework rain followed, people who are willing to do anything are getting away. The first line of both sided get in front of each other and pop it, here and there some good fighting. After it the Lyon mob with 100+ go backward and then again it's time for some bottles and firework rain. When the rain of bottles is finished the young group of Ajax are getting forward and forward and again some good 1 vs 2 and 2 vs 2 fights in the front, behind the first line of Lyon they are throwing again with stuff. One of Lyon falls downs and gets the time to get up but then goes back down by the same young person of Ajax. The right moment came for the Ajax group and starting to shout Hooligans from Amsterdam and they walked over the group of Lyon, the group of Lyon is gone forced by Ajax hooligans. The French police is not amused of this troubles and they decide to shoot a lot off tear gas at the group of Ajax. Blood, sweat and tears were the right words in this case. The police are keeping the Ajax mob together and they cant go anywhere for a while. Some Ajax guys are talking about the same good riots they had in Marseille a few years and that they missed the match. Will they miss the match again? Then the cops of Lyon and Amsterdam are talking and decide that we can go to the stadium in police escort. The fights are over and the match is started allready, after 20 minutes a part of the main group are entering the stadium. The match ends in 0-0 and there was some few arrests, a few days they were in jail in France but they are allready back in Amsterdam.

Serbia: FC Red Star - FC Partizan - 26/11/2011

Safety fears force Red Star to remove seats for Belgrade derby
Red Star Belgrade will remove all seats from the south tier of their stadium due to safety concerns for the Serbian first division derby with city rivals Partizan on Saturday, club officials said.
Daily newspapers on Wednesday splashed photos of seats being dismantled in Red Star's 55,000-capacity stadium, where rival fans often ripped them up during derbies which have a history of crowd trouble.
Partizan's most passionate fans, who usually occupy the south tier for the Belgrade derby, will now have to stand throughout Saturday's showdown.
"We made the decision after consultations with police and the Serbian interior ministry's request to do this," Red Star secretary general Djordje Stefanovic told Belgrade media.
"Past experience suggests this is the best course of action although we are aware it may not go down too well with the fans," he added.
Seats in the other stands for the home fans will remain in place.
Although the last few Belgrade derbies were incident-free after being played amid tight security, fierce clashes between rivals fans have resulted in several deaths and hundreds of serious injuries down the years.
In 1999, a Red Star fan was killed at Partizan's stadium during the derby after the home supporters launched a flare from their end into the away fans section.
The fixture in October 2000 at Red Star's ground was abandoned after only three minutes, when both sets of fans invaded the pitch while Red Star supporters also attacked and injured several Partizan players.
First division high commissioner Miodrag Jankovic said the stadium's capacity would also be reduced by up to 10 percent to make room for more security stewards.
"This is a normal procedure for a high-risk match but we expect sportsmanlike behaviour by both groups," he said.
Champions and league leaders Partizan, who are chasing a record fifth successive league title, are four points ahead of second-placed Red Star.
Kick off was delayed for 10 minutes because of fog made by Delije flares. Exchange of missiles between two Grobari fractions before kick off. 18 fans were detained and 11 injured.

Partizan win Belgrade derby marred by crowd trouble
The first half failed to produce many fireworks on the pitch but there were plenty off it as both sets of fans hurled dozens of flares on the athletics track and forced two 10-minute delays in freezing weather. The kickoff had been held up after Red Star supporters set off fireworks, with smoke billowing around the Marakana stadium and forcing much of the crowd to cover their faces with scarves. A fire crew also had to extinguish a blaze on the track section in the fourth minute as Partizan fans replied with their own pyrotechnics. Rival players and staff were then involved in a touchline brawl on the halftime whistle while the Partizan team were left in the dugout during the break, having refused to enter the tunnel after Red Star supporters hurled firecrackers at them.

German fan loses arm after being hit by train
Cologne police initially began an attempted homicide inquiry believing the man was pushed, but a state prosecutor told the Nuernberger Zeitung newspaper that witnesses gave a different story.
A Nuremberg football fan lost an arm after being hit by a train following an altercation with opposing supporters at a station. The 19-year-old man was in a group of fans returning from Nuremberg's 4-0 loss at Schalke on Saturday when it became involved in a row with Mainz supporters at Cologne train station.
He is thought to have fallen in front of an oncoming high-speed train. Emergency surgery failed to save his right arm.
Cologne police initially began an attempted homicide inquiry believing the man was pushed, but a state prosecutor told the Nuernberger Zeitung newspaper that witnesses gave a different story.
"They stated that the 19-year-old was running over the tracks when he fell in front of the train," state prosecutor Alf Willwacher said.
Nuremberg director Martin Bader said the club heard the news with "disbelief and great sadness." He denied the fan was a hooligan and offered him and his family Nuremberg's "full support."
"We still don't know the exact circumstances. We can't and won't comment on the matter as long as the police continue with the investigation," Bader said.

Fans die in stampede during South East Asian Games final in Indonesia
Two fans have been killed and others injured during a stampede at a match between Indonesia and Malaysia in Jakarta. The stampede was reportedly caused by fans who could not get a ticket to watch the final of the South East Asian Games at the sold-out 88,000 capacity Bung Karno stadium in Indonesia's capital.
here had been outbreaks of violence for days before the crunch game, with fans setting fire to a ticket booth and offices at the stadium being attacked. Malaysia's team had to be escorted into the stadium by armoured vehicles due to the simmering atmosphere around the ground.
'We are saddened by the deaths and it is unfortunate that the game has come to such a point that hooligans and vandals now are spoiling what should be an enjoyable pastime,' said Azzuddin Ahmad, secretary general of the Malaysian Football Association.

England: Gainsborough Trinity - Boston United - 19/11/2011
Source : Gainsboroughstandard.co.uk
Trouble at Trinity
AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after trouble broke out during and after Gainsborough Trinity’s derby clash with rivals Boston United.
After Saturday’s match police were called to the scene after reports that fans were throwing stones.
Other onlookers claim that further outbreaks of unrest and disturbances took place during the game.
Last week The Standard reported that Gainsborough Trinity FC have secured land at the former Castle Hills site to build a new stadium. Now, club boss Peter Swann says that they may consider separating the fans at future matches to secure safety.
Mr M Brown from Leverton in Boston witnessed the disturbance.
“I was horrified and angry at the attitude of some of the Trinity fans - they were racist, sexist and homophobic,” he said.
“This is supposed to be a family game but the language was disgusting and it made me cringe - there were children nearby - it’s just not good enough.”
He added: “There was fighting and the fans involved ejected - it’s pathetic.”
He added: “Finally the driver of Boston’s supporters coach had to request police assistance because a group of Trinity fans had gathered armed with bricks to attack the coach. There were small children on the coach - what message does that give? I cannot believe that the coach had to be escorted out of Gainsborough with sirens wailing and lights flashing.”
Gainsborough Standard football reporter Mikey Mumford was also at the match.
“There were outbreaks of trouble between both sets of fans,” he said.
“I believe coins or other objects were thrown and then the trouble just escalated from there and we could see punches being thrown until the stewards eventually came and tried to separate it.”
Trinity FC Chairman Peter Swann said the club would be looking into all allegations of ‘unacceptable behaviour’.
““It was a hot-blooded game on the pitch and very keenly contested,” said Mr Swann. “It’s such a shame that this incident has distracted from what was a very competitive and hard-fought game.”
“We’ve heard that there were people throwing coins and marbles in the ground and we are trying to identify the culprits and have them banned.”
Mr Swann went on: “I hadn’t heard about the offensive chanting and remarks, but we’ll certainly be looking into that too.”
“If there’s ever a disturbance involving violence or harassment then those behind it are evicted and the police are called. We have a good relationship with the police and this is a very rare occurrence.”
He continued: “The Northolme is a very open ground and we try to make it family friendly. We don’t segregate the fans, but we are now looking at that for future games. There are lots of kids and families at our games and they should always feel safe.”
“The most important thing is that no one was seriously hurt and that our stewards did the best job they could.”
He added: “The incident was handled well by the stewards and now we are just trying to gather more information to find out exactly what happened and if there is any action that we need to take.”
“If you have any information regarding what happened at the match, then please get in touch with the club by calling 01427 613295, write to us or get in touch via the website at www.gainsboroughtrinity.com.”
Lincolnshire Police spokesman James Newall said: “We were called to the Northolme and Marshall’s Yard area at 4.40pm after receiving reports of disorder at the football match and that youths were throwing stones.”
“Officers attended but the offenders had fled the scene.”

Brazil prepares for World Cup football hooligan threat - 27/11/2011
Source : AFP
Brazilian authorities have contacted police in seven countries around the world to request the details of known hooligans who may try to enter the country during the 2014 World Cup, press reports here on Sunday revealed. The request was made by the Secretaria Especial de Grandes Eventos - a government department set up to help with the organisation of events such as the World Cup and the 2016 Olympics - to police authorities in Argentina, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, South Africa and Poland, according to the Folha de Sao Paulo daily. "Any supporter identified as being problematic by police in their home country will not be granted a visa to enter Brazil," the newspaper claimed. Security forces will also carry out border controls in a bid to find troublemakers coming from countries where no visa is required to enter Brazil. Federal police in Sao Paulo recently expressed concern at the possible threat posed by terrorists during the World Cup, and said that they were preparing for "quite a heightened risk of an attack." The security plans are being put in place at a time when authorities are also racing against the clock to finish stadium construction and improve the country's transport infrastructure. Hundreds of thousands of foreign tourists are expected to come to Brazil, with games being staged in 12 different venues around what is a vast country.

German football fans wreak havoc following Arsenal match
Thousands of drunk fans smashed bottles and relieved themselves in gardens before and after the Gunners game against German team Borrusia Dortmund last week.
Residents described people drinking from 7am and hordes of inebriated fans marauding up and down quiet streets.
Mel Massey, 38, who lives in Ambler Road, Finsbury Park, said the next day: “My road is like Armageddon this morning and I am livid – my children had to walk over broken bottles this morning and the front garden smells like urine.
“I have lived here for years and this has never been problem before, but last night there were thousands of people walking down my road chanting and drinking – it was out of control – and now the road smells like a pub toilet.
“My two children were watching grown men urinating in the street and asking me why, they don’t need to see that. And it still hasn’t been cleaned up.”
Tyler Maillison, 36, who lives on the same street, said: “It didn’t look like the police had control of the situation as people were trespassing into gardens. There was rubbish all over the place – the whole street still looks trashy. Two days later they still hadn’t cleared it up properly. Who is taking responsibility?”
Cllr Richard Greening, who represents Highbury West, said: “The council wrote to local residents advising them that there were different policing arrangements and a new access route for away fans for this capacity match.”
“However, we received a number of complaints about the behaviour of drunken Dortmund fans, the management of this situation by the authorities and problems with the clean up following the match which did not take place promptly.
Three Borrusia Dormund fans were arrested before during the game – two for public order offences and the other for invading the pitch.
Arsenal said approximately 6,000 away fans attended the game, and the high number meant fan coaches were parked in more locations than usual.
A spokeswoman for Arsenal said: “We will be discussing all of the issues raised by local residents including crowd control, safety, the routes used by travelling fans and rubbish collection directly with the council and the police to address these concerns going forward and to ensure that the inconvenience caused to residents on match days is as limited as possible.”
