The prisoner, imprisoned as a preventive measure for his alleged link with the ultras of FC Barcelona, dies at Quatre Camins; the family questions the thesis of suicide
One of the leaders of the new generation of Boixos Nois has died in a Catalan prison. Genís Vila Pujol, 33, died Friday at the Quatre Camins prison in La Roca del Vallès (Barcelona) and was buried Thursday in his native Castellar del Vallès. Death in prison is explained by the thesis of suicide, which the family questions.
The truth is that Genís was declared deceased at the penitentiary center last Friday, and the death is particularly relevant because the prisoner had been arrested in November 2021 as an alleged member of the new Boixos Nois, a newly created faction that revitalized hooligans in the FC Barcelona and that the National Police links to a conspiracy linked to drug trafficking and forced prostitution.
Preventive prisonSince this police intervention at the end of last year, which resulted in 14 arrests, Genís had been in temporary prison awaiting trial. He was charged along with other arrestees with alleged crimes against public health, exploitation of human beings for the purpose of sexual exploitation, illegal possession of weapons and money laundering.
The resident of Castellar had been placed in police custody after an operation by the National Police Corps (CNP) targeted at this city in the Barcelona conurbation and at Sabadell, where a new batch of Boixos had flourished.

Other prison sources have detailed that Genís died while he was in solitary confinement, a regime to which he had been subjected to avoid, indicate the same sources, that he adapts to imprisonment with the comfort with which he did so with his first major court case: the conviction for the attack on far-left youths in the Stroika room in Manresa (Barcelona) in 2012.
Along with this, the Catalan far right remembered Genís. About fifty people close to the young man gathered last weekend in front of Quatre Camins, ensuring that the father of a child was also undergoing "torture". They also called for "justice". Other organizations such as Devenir Europeo have also paid tribute to the youngster, who is said to have belonged to the new Boixos Nois and, in the past, to Hooligans Vallès, a group of radical fans from the Center d'Esports Sabadell which now counts as disbanded. In fact, the protest at La Roca after his death was attended by historical fans of the Vallesan club, such as the faction's former leader el Largo.
