UFC’s Paddy Pimblett Details His Terrifying Experience Following The Champions League Final - 03/06/2022
Source : https://www.lowkickmma.com/
Disgusting ! Never catch me in Paris again like crazy shithole that! How anyone can go there for a weekend with their partner & feel safe ! UEFA still try use an easy scapegoat in LFC fans instead of being honest saying Paris Cudnt handle the final as locals took over !
Paddy Pimblett, who was in attendance to watch his team play, took to his social media where he stated it was the first time in a long time he feared for his own safety, where he describes organized gangs outside the stadium that were there to rob the ‘vulnerable’ fans leaving the ground.
“First time in a very long time I’ve actually been worried about my own safety & I can look after myself! It’s different when there’s groups of 30 men running around wielding machetes robbing people at knife point and beating up defenseless old men.”
The 27-year-old further added, “Madrid and Liverpool fans are not to blame for anything on Saturday. These were the scenes as I left the ground. In general fear you would be attacked by 20 men with weapons luckily enough we stayed in a pack, and they didn’t come near us, just picked on vulnerable old men on their own.”
Boris Johnson and British Government have called for further investigations to take place into the situation that unfolded at the match, as they believe UEFA’s statements regarding the situation done “chime” with the experience of the fans that were in Paris.

Liverpool CEO says over 5,000 fans have submitted accounts of Paris chaos - 01/06/2022
Source : https://www.the42.ie/
Now the whole world knows the situation in France...
LIVERPOOL SUPPORTERS HAVE submitted more than 5,000 first-hand accounts in 24 hours of the Paris chaos surrounding Saturday’s Champions League final.
Chief executive Billy Hogan hailed an “astounding” response to Liverpool’s request for information from supporters who were in the French capital for the European showdown against Real Madrid.
Liverpool fans were tear-gassed and pepper-sprayed by police as they waited in huge queues prior to the game against Real Madrid, with the access problems leading to a kick-off delay of 36 minutes.
Uefa initially blamed the late arrival of fans for the problems, which included some supporters being crushed, before later issuing a statement referring to fake tickets as the cause.
French government ministers reiterated the latter claims on Monday, alleging “fraud at an industrial level” leading to the fiasco that followed.
This version of events has been challenged by numerous fans and other independent eye-witnesses, including media outlets.
Now Liverpool chief Hogan has called on Uefa to include the testimony from Liverpool fans submitted to the Merseyside club’s website in the European governing body’s independent review.
“The form has been on our website for just over 24 hours and we have had over 5,000 forms completed and submitted, which is really astounding,” Hogan told Liverpool’s official club website.
“Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to submit their experiences.
“I’m horrified by the way some men, women, children – some able-bodied, some less able-bodied – have been indiscriminately treated over the course of Saturday.
“I think the volume of completed forms in the last 24 hours really demonstrates how fans want to support the investigation process and, importantly, gather real evidence of what happened both prior to and post kick-off.
“I do think it’s important to recognise we’ve all been rightly focused on the access issues at Stade de France; I think it’s also important we don’t lose sight of what happened after the match.
“I think we’ve all seen videos, photos, I’ve read a number of stories of absolutely horrific experiences leaving the stadium as well – crimes being committed, muggings taking place.
“Nobody should experience what our fans experienced both before or after the match.
“In our minds, obviously this is wholly unacceptable, which is why it’s important we create this body of experiences, which clearly must be included in the independent investigation.”
Liverpool lost Saturday’s final 1-0 but the match was overshadowed by the off-field events.
Hogan revealed Liverpool are now attempting to make contact with any supporters injured in Saturday’s distressing scenes, to offer as much assistance as possible.
Hogan added: “We’re aware there were many fans who were injured on Saturday evening and we’ve asked Uefa for their match day log, which includes any medical incidents for the night, so we can reach out to those supporters and families to help if we can.”

Real Madrid demand answers over treatment of fans at Champions League final - 03/06/2022
Source : https://www.theguardian.com/
‘Many of the fans were assaulted and robbed with violence’
Real Madrid have demanded answers from organisers over the treatment of supporters at last Saturday’s Champions League final against Liverpool in Paris.
The match, which Madrid won 1-0, was delayed by 36 minutes after officers forcefully held back people trying to enter the Stade de France. Riot police sprayed pepper-spray and teargas on fans, including women and children.
France’s interior minister, Gérald Darmanin, said much of the blame lay with Liverpool fans and that 30,000-40,000 arrived without valid tickets, which led to a crowd crush at the stadium and people trying to force their way in. Darmanin’s version of events has been challenged by Liverpool fans who attended and say the vast majority of their supporters were well-behaved but were needlessly treated in a heavy-handed manner by French police. Darmanin has acknowledged police were caught off-guard by several hundred local “delinquents” who turned up to cause trouble.
In a statement, the Spanish club said: “We want to know what were the reasons that motivated that designation of the venue for the final and what criteria were taken into consideration taking into account what was experienced that day.
“We also ask for answers and explanations to determine who were those responsible for leaving the fans unattended and defenceless. Supporters whose general behaviour was exemplary at all times. As clearly seen in the revealing images provided by the media, many of the fans were assaulted, harassed, mugged and robbed with violence.”

Seven England fans arrested in Munich before Nations League game with Germany
Sky Sports News witnessed a number of arrests in Munich on Monday night, along with repeated anti-German chants, and songs related to World War Two.
The seven arrests were related to alleged public order offences, including abusing German police, hitting a police officer, Nazi salutes and possession of a pyrotechnic in a hotel room.
The UK police described the disorder as primarily alcohol-fuelled anti-social behaviour rather than any widespread violence.

Nations League 2022/2023: troubles opposing Cesena ultras and Hungarians, police intervention
Italy-Hungary will certainly be a splendid spectacle for football fans, although a few minutes before the start of the match, an episode broke the positive mood. Indeed, clashes between Cesena ultras and Hungarian supporters have been reported, with clear tension in a bar near the Dino Manuzzi in the Romagna town. Police intervention is necessary to calm people down and avoid the worst; all this also taking into account the large number of Magyars present in Cesena, that is to say more than 15,000. All Hungarian supporters currently wear black jerseys, in the presence of Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Romagna. After what has been unpleasantly described, we move on to the pitch: an important game for Mancini's Italy, ready to give continuity on an equal footing with Germany.

CCTV footage from Champions League final fiasco inexplicably 'deleted' - 10/06/2022
Source : https://www.france24.com/
Pressure was growing Friday on French authorities after the surprise revelation that CCTV footage from the Stade de France during the Champions League final last month has been deleted, with critics alleging a deliberate cover-up.
The French Football Federation revealed Thursday to a commission at the French Senate that the images had been destroyed automatically having not been subject to a warrant from judicial authorities, in line with French law.
The revelation added to the controversy after crowd control problems, tear gas and street crime marred the final at Paris' Stade de France between Liverpool and Real Madrid on May 28.
Liverpool mayor Steve Rotheram, questioned by the Senate commission after the FFF delegation, said that he failed "to understand why the videos were destroyed".

Tear gas used outside arena delays tip-off of Olympiacos-Panathinaikos Game 1
About ten minutes before the start of Game 1, the players and members of the teams of both teams returned in a hurry to their respective locker rooms, interrupting the warm-up process.
There was tension outside the Peace and Friendship Stadium with the local police using tear gas. It created a difficult atmosphere inside the Stadium for both the fans and the players. According to reports, many people experienced difficulties breathing.
Following the situation, the referees of the match decided that in order for everyone to be safe and not to be burdened by the tear gas that passed inside the Stadium the teams should go to the locker rooms.
As a result, the start of the match was delayed by 15 minutes.
