In the Plovdiv stadium, the two fan factions, Ultras Levski and Sofía West, clashed at each others. The match was not interrupted as police intervened to stop the violence and make arrests.
The open war between Levski supporters has been going on for two years now.

A coalition of 70 hooligans from GKS Katowice, ROW Rybnik and Baník Ostrava (Czechs) attacked Ruch supporters who were making the trip to Bielsko-Biała. Around 2,000 Ruch Chorzów fans made the trip.

The Plovdiv District Court imposed a ban on attending sports events and community service on 40 football fans detained during Saturday’s derby between Botev’s and Levski’s teams in Plovdiv after a mass brawl between parts of the rival factions of the Blues – Ultras – Levski and Sofia – West. The cases were heard in open court today by several panels.
The court sentenced 26 of the offenders to “unpaid work for the benefit of society” for a period of 60 hours and a coercive administrative measure “ban on attending sports events in the country and abroad” for a period of two years.
Another three of the offenders were sentenced to “unpaid work for the benefit of society” for a period of 80 hours and a coercive administrative measure “ban on attending sports events in the country and abroad” for a period of two years.
Two of the offenders were sentenced to “unpaid work for the benefit of society” for a period of 80 hours and a coercive administrative measure “ban on attending sports events in the country and abroad” for a period of two years and two months.
One of the offenders was sentenced by the court to “unpaid work for the benefit of society” for a period of 100 hours and a coercive administrative measure “ban on attending sports events in the country and abroad” for a period of two years.
The court sentenced 7 of the offenders to “unpaid work for the benefit of society” for a period of 100 hours and a coercive administrative measure “ban on attending sports events in the country and abroad” for a period of two years and six months. And one of the offenders was punished with “unpaid work for the benefit of society” for a period of 120 hours and a coercive administrative measure “ban on attending sports events in the country and abroad” for a period of two years and six months.
Around 9.30 p.m. during the match, in the separate area of the fans of “Levski” – Sofia, the fans broke the metal fences serving as a fence in the eastern part of the central field and plastic seats.
The decisions of the Court are not final and are subject to appeal.
