A Sevilla fan has told how Spanish police charged Leicester City fans after they refused to move off a street last night.

Leicester fans 'ambushed' by Spanish police who fired giant rubber bullets following Champions League clash with Sevilla
Leicester City fans have clashed with Spanish police following their 2-1 defeat to Sevilla in the Champions League.
Dozens of fans have taken to social media to complain of being "ambushed" and "attacked" by local police in the city centre of Seville.
One picture showed a large rubber bullet which had been fired by officers.
Campaigners in Spain have long called for an end to the use of rubber bullets by police.
They have caused two deaths and 38 serious injuries including eight people who have lost an eye as a result of being hit.
BBC journalist Ian Stringer who is in Sevilla covering the football match tweeted a picture of one of the bullets.
He said: "Didn't see it so can't confirm as fact but these LCFC fans claim police were firing solid balls at fans unprovoked."
Thomas Gee wrote: "The Spanish police have just ruined tonight"
Another fan Leon wrote: "I got tear gassed for the first time tonight."
Kevin Edwards said: "Leicester fans outside a bar no trouble just been attacked by Spanish police."
Videos posted online appeared to show the heavily armoured police running through the streets as fans scattered.
There were also reports of clashes with police inside the stadium during the game.
Paul Kettell wrote: "did you see the spanish police in full riot gear batons attacking us as soon as we scored? Was disgusting treated like vermin"
Rod Hodson Walker added: "Spanish police using batons like nobody's business, complete and utter brain dead"
Adam Kirton wrote: "Spanish riot police are absolute thugs. Stormed in and gave the LCFC fans an unwarranted beating."
Daryn added: "Leicester fans being ambushed by the Spanish police and now we're being locked in! Absolute joke hahaha"
Fans of English clubs have encountered numerous problems with Spanish police and fans in recent years.
Fighting broke out between around 50 Liverpool and Sevilla fans before kick-off at last year's Europa League final in Basel, Switzerland.
Manchester City fans had to barricade themselves inside an Irish bar in Seville after being ambushed by a group of Spanish supporters on the eve of their Champions League clash in 2015.
And Tottenham accused Spanish police of hitting a disabled fan during their Uefa Cup tie in Seville, in 2007, when riot police charged away fans during the first half as trouble broke out inside the ground.

France : PSG fans banned from Marseille trip - 23/02/2017
Source : http://dailytimes.com.pk/
Paris Saint-Germain fans have been barred from Sunday’s Ligue 1 trip to Marseille, local police said on Wednesday. Champions PSG are due to play bitter rivals Marseille at the Velodrome on Sunday evening. Previous matches between the sides have been marred by trouble between opposing fans. Local police prefect Laurent Nunez thus took the decision to ban all travelling fans from the game due to the “too great risk of public order troubles”.

German Police Detain 30 Fans of Greece’s Paok Ahead of Schalke Tie
German police detained around 30 Greek fans of Paok Salonika ahead of Wednesday’s Europa League match against Schalke.
Security officials said on Wednesday that the detention took place on Tuesday night in the German city of Gelsenkirchen, where a group of some 30 fans clashed with a German supporter, and then a group of hooded men apparently attempted to support the Schalke fan.
Police intervened before the clash started among the two groups and dispersed them to identify each of the fans involved in the incident and ban them from access to the stadium on Wednesday.
Tension is increasing ahead of Wednesday’s match after incidents during the first leg, when German fans were greeted at the stadium with a large banner with the word “Nazis.”

Almost 100 arrests after Hertha Berlin, Frankfurt fans clash
Berlin police made almost 100 arrests on Saturday when Hertha Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt supporters clashed violently before their Bundesliga game.
Police say masked fans fought with batons, bottles, beer crates, chairs and flares on a busy street corner in the neighborhood of Moabit. The first officers on the scene faced “a group of around 60 rioters” who turned on the police.
Two police vehicles were damaged with stones and bottles before 96 arrests were made — with 73 of those arrested from the state of Hessen, which has Frankfurt as its largest city.
Six supporters were hospitalized. Police say only one fan is still in the hospital and in a “stable” condition.
Police say they are investigating whether the clash was pre-arranged.

French club Bastia forced to close stand and handed suspended one point penalty after racial abuse of Mario Balotelli - 23/02/2017
Source : http://www.mirror.co.uk/
French club Bastia have been handed a suspended one point penalty and forced to close the East Stand for three games, after supporters racially abused Mario Balotelli.
The former Liverpool and AC Milan striker was targeted by supporters of the Corsican club during the 1-1 draw with Nice last month.
Bastia supporters allegedly directed monkey noises towards him, to which Balotelli responded on social media, highlighting the issue, post game.
"Is it normal that Bastia supporters make monkey noises for the whole game and nobody from the 'discipline commission' says anything?
"So is racism legal in France? Or only in Bastia? Football is an amazing sport, but people like Bastia supporters make it horrible. Truly a disgrace."
Balotelli's teammate, Wylan Cyprien, also stated that he had heard Bastia fans insulting the Italian's mother also.
Thus, a disciplinary commission for the LFP have now hit Bastia with sanctions, for the second time this season.
The East Stand, where the supporters group 1905 sit, has already been shut for one game this season, the January fixture against Caen.

Police arrest 13 fans at Wolves v Birmingham City derby
Police made 13 arrests after trouble broke out at the Wolves v Blues match - including while officers were saving the life of a heart attack victim.
Eight Birmingham City fans were arrested and five Wolves fans as trouble flared after the game on Friday evening.
West Midlands Police say following Birmingham City’s second goal scored by David Davies, Wolves supporters are believed to have thrown bottles, seats, and coins from the Steve Bull and South Bank stadium.
And police say a disorder broke out, forcing police to use force to quell the trouble, when Birmingham City fans clashed with Wolves supporters near to the train station after the match.
Officers have now launched an investigation into the two incidents and are urging anyone who witnessed the disorder or who can identify those involved, to call with information.
Meanwhile, video has also emerged of police supposedly hitting Blues fans with batons after the game - sparking claims of excessive force from the former officer who shot the film.
Blues fan Nick Glynn, a retired public order specialist, said: “In my experience and opinion, the officers used over excessive force. There was just no need for it.”
News of the 13 arrests broke today - as well as details of the heroics of officers in saving a heart attack victim.
Match commander Chief Inspector Nick Rowe, from the force’s Operations Department, said: “The vast majority of supporters were there to enjoy the game and behaved impeccably.

Norwich City - Ipswich Town - 26/02/2017
Source : http://www.edp24.co.uk/
Eight arrests made at East Anglian derby match between Norwich and Ipswich
Eight people have been arrested before and during yesterday’s derby match between Norwich City and Ipswich Town - with police thanking fans overall for “showing good spirit”.
Two people were arrested for attempting to encroach the pitch, and two other people were arrested for letting off smoke bombs in two separate incidents (one in the home stand and one in the away stand).
Three other supporters were arrested for breaching “direction to leave” notices and one person was arrested for trying to enter the stadium while drunk.
Around 27,000 fans went to the game, which finished 1-1, including roughly 2,000 Ipswich fans.
After the match police put cordons in place around the stadium to ensure fans could move safely from the ground, though there was a short delay while officers intervened to move on two groups of supporters.
Chief superintendent Dave Marshall, the match-day policing commander, said: “Overall there was good spirit between both sets of fans resulting in minimal disorder.
“The policing operation was firm in places and these tactics were used to ensure supporters enjoyed the game and journeys to and from the stadium in a safe environment.
“Additional road closures were put in place to ensure the safety of those attending before and after the match and I would like to thank motorists for their co-operation during this time.”
In a statement Norfolk police thanked their counterparts in Suffolk and British Transport Police for their help, as well as other partner agencies involved.
Fans at the game reported seeing a few scuffles both outside the stadium on the way in to the game, and in the ground itself.
A smoke bomb was thrown from the snakepit early in the second-half when Norwich had a goal disallowed, leading to a Canaries fan being ejected.
And when Ipswich scored some fans tried to get onto the pitch, resulting in them also being told to leave.
Some specialist police units, such as mounted officers, were also called upon to help keep order outside Carrow Road.

Violence erupts in stadium as angry football fans clash with police during local derby match
At least 15 people have been arrested after a local derby football match in Australia turned violent, with fans in the stadium throwing bottles and chairs at police and security guards.
The arrests were made at the ANZ Stadium on Saturday night after Western Sydney Wanderers pulled off a shock 1-0 win against arch rivals Sydney FC in front of 24,000 fans.
Crowd violence erupted after the final whistle, with rubbish also being thrown on the pitch, while a police officer's eye was cut by a projectile thrown during a fight.
The arrests were all separate incidents, with assaulting police, throwing a missile, possession of a prohibited drug and offensive language being among the list of charges.
Mobile phone footage shows the field being strewn with rubbish as supports threw objects towards security officers.
And footage from 9News shows a clash breaking out between men wearing Sydney FC shirts and police.
Despite this, Superintendent Mark Jones said the majority of fans were well behaved.
He said: "While the majority of the crowd were well behaved and abided by police directions, there were a small number who engaged in anti-social behaviour.
"Police are there to ensure the safety of everyone and ensure that they can enjoy the event in a safe and friendly environment, and it is disappointing a small number of people choose to behave in this manner."
