Police said 30 to 40 supporters without tickets entered by force inside the Duren stadium. One of the only 13 policemen present was wounded. The game started with a delay of one hour. Thirty policemen came in reinforcement.

Basket: Alba Berlin - Galatasaray Istanbul - 19/03/2015
Source : www.todayszaman.com
Galatasaray loses to Alba in game delayed by crowd trouble.
Police had to step in to restore order as crowd trouble delayed the start of the Euroleague Top 16 game between Alba Berlin and Galatasaray in Berlin for an hour on Thursday. The players and coaches returned to the changing rooms after dozens of fans ran down a section of the venue, pushing their way towards another area before clashing with security staff and throwing seats onto the court. Public announcements in Turkish urged the crowd to stop and return to their seats. The game finally started and there were no immediate reports of injuries. Galatasaray lost 75-68. It was the second serious incident involving Galatasaray fans this season after a Red Star Belgrade supporter was killed in fighting between rival fans in İstanbul in November.

England: Bradford City ban three fans for incidents against Reading - 20/03/2015
Source : http://www1.skysports.com/
Bradford City have banned three supporters over incidents during their FA Cup quarter-final ties with Reading, with more still being investigated.
The League One side has issued two five-year banning orders, with one more fan banned until the summer after three separate incidents in the home game.
A fan arrested and charged by Thames Valley Police over alleged racist abuse aimed at Reading's Garath McCleary during the replay will be banned for life if found to be guilty.
And another five-year ban could be handed out to a supporter who announced on social media that he was planning on taking pyrotechnics into the Madejski Stadium, and was then found to have done so in a targeted search.
Those banned for five years were found guilty of drinking alcohol in sight of the pitch, before abusing and threatening a steward, and running on to the pitch at Valley Parade, while the shorter ban was for spraying tomato ketchup over a steward.
A club statement read: "The football club has been delighted with the fantastic support from the vast majority of its fans during the recent FA Cup run.
"The support, in both its number and its vocal backing for the team, has been one of the highlights of the club’s outstanding run. However, there are one or two individuals who have abused the success of the team and behaved in a way that is unacceptable to the club and its supporters and damaged the image of Bradford City FC.
"So following recent isolated, but serious, incidents at the Reading games, three people have been informed that they are to be banned from the club and two more will be banned, subject to further information from Thames Valley Police.
"The club hopes that by issuing these bans, it will remove a small number of fans who are, quite simply, not wanted here at the club. In addition, it hopes to send out a message that as the club becomes more successful, this small band of people who are responsible for unacceptable behaviour that tarnishes the good name the club is developing will not be tolerated.
"There are also a couple of incidents at the home game versus Reading and three further arrests at the replay that the club is still investigating and further bans may be announced when those investigations gave been completed."

Villa Park pitch invasion: police ask for fans’ pics- 20/03/2015
Source : http://tyburnmail.com/
Police are asking the public to send them photographs and videos taken of the crowd trouble and pitch invasion at the Villa v West Brom FA Cup tie on 7th March.
They are inviting anyone who took footage or photos of offences being committed to send them to the investigation team via a private message to the Birmingham Police Facebook page.
Police have also published their own photographs of people they would like to speak to about the disorder. Detective Inspector Paul Joyce, who is leading the investigation, said: “Today we have released 11 images of people we want to identify. “Some of the behaviour seen on the day of the game was completely unacceptable and our priority is to gather evidence against those who have committed offences and bring them to justice. “As part of this we are seeking the help of the football community to support our investigation by helping us to collate evidence from photos and videos taken at the match.”
Read Tyburn Mail’s football expert Fat Alan’s report of the crowd trouble here.
Detectives have been working with both clubs to identify offenders for a range of offences including criminal damage, threatening and intimidating behaviour and entering the pitch.

Crowd violence breaks out during Blackpool vs Leeds Championship encounter
Police and paramedics were forced to step in to halt the violence which broke out as the game continued at Bloomfield Road.
Saturday's Championship fixture between Blackpool and Leeds was marred by scenes of ugly crowd violence.
Shocking images from Bloomfield Road show rival supporters clashing during the Championship fixture.
Police and paramedics were forced to step in to halt the violence which broke out as the game continued.
The clashes are understood to have occurred between Blackpool fans and Leeds supporters who were sat in the home end.
The incident occurred despite hundreds of Blackpool fans boycotting the game in protest at the club's owners.
Supporters are unhappy at the way the Oyston family are running the club and held a demonstration outside the ground prior to kick-off, before going to watch AFC Blackpool in the North West Counties league.
Despite the boycott, Saturday's attendance of 11,688 was considerably higher than the 9,168 who attended the midweek defeat to Charlton.

There was a huge police presence at the game to keep an eye on some 100 PSG ultras whose reputation had obviously preceded them. The French fans, who reportedly have been barred from the Parc des Princes, were escorted from the railway station to the ground by several police vans, with further officers, including mounted police, at the stadium.
Parading banners and segregated from the home supporters on the opposite side of the ground, they started their incessant chanting, including, bizarrely, a hummed version of the Flower of Scotland, throughout the match.

Platini: Uefa needs sports police force for hooligans - 24/03/2015
Source : http://www.goal.com/
The Uefa president says rowdy fans needs to be tackled with the formation of a new authority dedicated to policing sports arenas
Michel Platini has demanded the creation of a sports police force to fight against football hooliganism.
The Uefa president, speaking ahead of his re-election for a third term at the annual Uefa congress, has insisted that a special police force needs to be formed in Europe to quell the threats caused by trouble on the terraces.
Incidents involving the likes of AEK Athens, Dynamo Kiev, CSKA Moscow and Serbia have all raised concern in recent months, and the 59-year-old admits he is worried that more serious cases could occur unless new measures are put in place.
“In recent months, we have all been struck by certain images that I thought were a thing of the past. Some of us experienced that past at first hand. In my case, it was exactly 30 years ago,” said Platini in reference to the Heysel Stadium disaster of 1985.
The Frenchman was a Juventus player at the European Cup final in Brussels before which 39 people were killed after Liverpool fans instigated trouble between the two sets of supporters.
“Nobody wants a repeat of such events,” he added. “We need tougher stadium bans at European level and - I will say it again - the creation of a European sports police force.
“This is something I starting calling for back in 2007, just after I was first elected.”
The Greek Super League was suspended for one week earlier this month after a pitch invasion during the Greek Cup quarter-final clash between AEK Athens and Olympiakos, while Dynamo Kiev and CSKA Moscow have both been forced to close parts of their stadiums for European fixtures this season after crowd trouble.
These incidents come hot on the heels of the Euro 2016 qualifying match between Serbia and Albania, which was abandoned after a drone carrying a political flag was flown into the stadium, sparking scenes of mayhem both on the pitch and in the crowd.

Greece : AEK Athens docked points for fan violence - 27/03/2015
Source : http://sports.yahoo.com/
Greek second-division side AEK Athens on Friday were deducted three points by the Greek football federation for a pitch invasion by their fans earlier this month.
The disciplinary committee of the federation also ordered AEK to play two matches behind closed doors and fined the club 17,000 euros.
The action was taken after the pitch invasion during the Greek Cup quarter-final match between AEK and Olympiakos at the Athens Olympic Stadium with one minute remaining in the game.
About 25 AEK supporters ran onto the pitch before throwing objects and chasing Olympiakos players following a 89th-minute goal by midfielder Franco Jara that gave the visitors a decisive 1-0 lead.
The Olympiakos players immediately headed to the locker rooms. They were soon followed by match officials and AEK players.
Over half an hour later, officials announced that the game would not resume and Olympiakos would automatically progress to the semi-finals, being awarded a 3-0 decision.
The violence led Deputy Sports Minister Stavros Kontonis to ban spectators from Super League matches for the following weekend for the second time this season.
AEK have already been assured promotion to the Super League with a 16-point advantage over second place Panachaiki in the Football League.

Goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev hit by flare in Montenegro v Russia
A European championship qualifying match between Montenegro and Russia suspended after Russian goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev was hit by a flare thrown from the stands. Akinfeev was struck on the head by the flare approximately 20 seconds after kickoff and was carried off the pitch on a stretcher. The match was suspended and the players led off the field. Approximately 30 minutes after the incident, a stadium announcement said that the match would be resumed and players emerged. After a few minutes of warming up, play resumed. Akinfeev was replaced by substitute goalkeeper Yuri Lodygin. Russian TV reported, citing a spokesman for the Russian team, that Akinfeev had been examined by medical staff and would be taken to a hospital for further checks. The flare struck Akinfeev from behind shortly after kickoff, having been thrown from a sector of the stadium occupied by Montenegro's hardcore supporters. The goalkeeper collapsed to the ground and was treated immediately by medical staff.

Flare-throwing Montenegro fan turns himself in say police - 29/03/2015
Source : http://in.reuters.com/
A 25-year old Montenegro fan suspected of hitting Russia goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev on the head with a flare during Friday's Euro 2016 qualifier has turned himself in, Montenegrin police said on Saturday.
"The fan, whose initials are L.L and had been sought by the Podgorica security centre since (Friday) evening, turned himself in (on Saturday) at 17.45 local time (15.45 GMT) accompanied by his defence counselor," the Montenegrin interior ministry said on its official website.
"L.L has been suspected of throwing a flare in the first minute of the soccer match between Montenegro and Russia, hitting the Russian goalkeeper in the back of his neck.
"He was identified last night on the basis of video footage of the event."
The match was abandoned midway through the second half after a second outburst of violence, when a still unidentified fan hit Russia midfielder Dmitri Kombarov with a missile from the terraces following a scuffle among the players.
Akinfeev was wheeled off the pitch on a stretcher and taken to hospital after the flare incident which forced a 33-minute delay as German referee Deniz Aytekin ordered the players back into the dressing rooms.
More trouble erupted at halftime when rivals fans clashed and forced an 18-minute delay to the start of the second half.
Despite repeated warnings by the stadium announcer that the match would be abandoned if there was any more crowd trouble, the game was abandoned amid chaotic scenes in the Montenegrin capital.
Soccer's European governing body UEFA said it would wait to receive reports from the match delegate and referee before opening disciplinary proceedings.
Montenegro and Russia are level on five points from four games in Group G behind leaders Austria who have 13 points from five games and Sweden who are on nine from five.
