Dnipro fans attack security in game against FC Copenhagen
A scary scene broke out in a Champions League match between Ukranian club Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and FC Copenhagen. At some point during the game it looked like Dnipro fans decided to riot.
In the video below, the fans can be seen running down the stairs until they get to a metal fence. At that point they decide to hurdle the fence where security is awaiting. The fans then attacked the yellow flap-jacketed security guards.
The group then run along the track around the field before climbing back into the stands in a different section.
Fans were also seen taking Copenhagen flags down that were hung around the stadium.

England : Wrexham FC fans launch petition over Chester bubble match - 30/07/2014
Source : http://www.dailypost.co.uk
Dragons supporters bid to get North Wales Police, Cheshire Constabulary and the two clubs to reverse their decision
A petition has been launched calling for what fans claim are “draconian” bubble match restrictions placed on Wrexham FC’s forthcoming cross-border clash with rivals Chester to be lifted.
Dragons supporter Andy Pierce has set up the online petition to put pressure on North Wales Police, Cheshire Constabulary and the two clubs to reconsider the mutually-agreed decision, which will see the away fans having to travel on designated coaches for the 8pm clash on September 22.
He describes the bubble match restrictions, which will affect up to 1,200 Wrexham supporters, as being akin to “using a sledgehammer to crack a nut”.
Nearly 250 people have signed the petition so far which also calls for fans from both sides to “stand shoulder to shoulder” and boycott the match – live on BT Sport – in protest if the measures remain in place.
In a joint statement the two police forces and both clubs said the decision had been made “in the interests of safety”, following previous incidents.
But Mr Pierce says in the petition posted on change.org: “Bubble match restrictions can be best described as using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
“Bubble matches are games where no independent transport is allowed. This means supporters can’t drive to the match or use public transport but must use official club transport which departs from designated points.
“These matches place huge restrictions on an individual’s freedom of movement and can cause massive problems for fans travelling from areas other than the town or city of the club they support.
“This is about more than travel logistics though, it’s about a decision which effectively labels every travelling fan a potentially violent hooligan.”
Last season both derby fixtures were also designated as bubble matches with a total of 230 Cheshire Police officers on duty for Wrexham’s away trip in an operation that cost nearly £40,000.
Mr Pierce adds: “Wrexham fans had to leave at 10am for the away fixture which didn’t kick-off until 12pm and is just 13 miles down the road, women and children were unable to use the toilet for a duration of nearly two hours and were forced to urinate in bottles and cups which is absolutely disgraceful in this day and age.”
Wrexham fan and chairman of the supporters trust Bryn Law tweeted last week: “On a personal note, sad to see the Chester v Wrexham game again designated a bubble fixture. That rules me out, even if I wanted to go.”
Responding to a supporter on the social networking site, he said: “Who wants to spend 2 hours on a coach for a 12 mile journey? It criminalises everyone.”
In another tweet, the Sky Sports News reporter said: “How do arrest figures at Chester races compare, or a Saturday night in Wrexham? I’m not sure why this game is subject to such focus.”
The joint statement released by the police forces and clubs last week said: “These measures are intended to help to make the event safe and enjoyable for everyone, while minimising any potential disruption to local communities, businesses and the general public.
“Planning for the fixture continues, involving clubs, Cheshire Constabulary and North Wales Police and other agencies.”

Legia Warsaw - Celtic Glasgow - 30/07/2014
Source : http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk
Celtic fans attacked in Warsaw in separate incidents before their European defeat
CELTIC fans were attacked before last night’s Champions League qualifier against Legia Warsaw.
At least two incidents are understood to have taken place at a bar in the Polish capital, with at least one Hoops supporter injured.
A spokesman for the Parkhead club said there had been a "couple" of incidents, adding: “We are aware of attacks on Celtic supporters and are currently investigating these.”
It was estimated that about 160 Celtic fans travelled to Poland for the game.
Polish football has a recent history of crowd trouble and controversy.
A match between Legia Warsaw and rivals Jagiellonia Białystok earlier this year descended into a battle between Ultra fans, which caused the match to be abandoned when rival groups tried to rip down the fences separating them.
Legia ultras were reported to have stolen their opponents’ banner at a previous encounter, sparking angry scenes.
In August last year, Legia fans were found guilty of racist behaviour during a match against Welsh side The New Saints. UEFA fined the club £25,700 and they were hit with a partial stadium closure.
Their Ultras protested against the sanctions by lighting a massive fireworks display across one end of their stadium shortly after.
And three years ago, fans of Polish side Slask Wroclaw were involved in violence and disorder following a Europa League qualifier against Dundee United. Three Polish supporters were arrested before the game in Dundee.
In 2009, 11 police officers in Belfast were injured by Poland supporters before and during a game against Northern Ireland.
Last November, an Amsterdam pub full of Celtic fans came under attack by local hooligans the night before a match against Ajax, with nine Dutch supporters arrested.
The following day, there were clashes between police and rival fans in Amsterdam city centre - 28 Celtic supporters were arrested and five were later convicted of violent offences. The five are appealing their convictions.

FK Neftchi Baku - FC Chikhura Sachkhere - 31/07/2014
Georgian and Azerbaijani football supporters clash in Baku
UEFA has issued a 15,000 euros fine to a Georgian football team after its supporters clashes with supporters of an Azerbaijanian team in Baku. The clashes took place during and after a qualification match for UEFA Europe League. After the match, another brawl broke out between Georgian fans of Chikhura FC from the western Georgian town Sachkhere, the hometown of the former prime minister and billionaire, Bidzina Ivanishvili, and Azerbaijani police. The conflict was triggered by a map Chikhura fans had brought with them, in which the territory of Saingilo was shown as included in Georgian territory and marked as ‘this is Georgia.’ The historical province Saingilo is now part of Azerbaijan and populated partly by Georgians. It is deemed by many in Georgia as a historical Georgian land improperly attributed to the Azrbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic in early 1920s by the Bolsheviks.
Apart of Saingilo, which encompasses Azerbaijan districts of Zakatala, Kakhi and Belokani, were marked as Georgia other historical provinces too, also deemed by many Georgians as natural parts of the country but improperly stripped by other states. Among them lands of Tao-Klarjeti, now part of Turkey, Lore, part of Armenia and Sochi area in Russian Federation. About ten Georgian fans were detained as a result of clashes. President of the Baku Neftchi AC said after the match that Azerbaijan and Georgia are friends but Georgian fans brought some ‘separatist map’. “Why was this necessary, aren’t we friends?” he asked. “What we saw today wasn’t football. The match didn’t end well, but good that we didn’t let in any goals,” he said, commenting on the match which ended in a draw 0-0. This is a favorable result for Chikhura, which will have another match with Neftchi August 7, in Tbilisi. “We love attacking open football. Probably the second match will be like this,” the Neftchi FC pesident added. The president of Chikhura said he is concerned over what has happened.
“Azerbaijan is our friend and neighbor. Those who brought this flag are not real fans of Chikhura. We thank real fans for their support,” said Berdia Shikakidze, the Georgian club’s president, and apologized for the conduct of Chikhura fans, adding that they were not members of the team’s official fan club. Several Georgian journalists were arrested in Baku too. Among them, employees of TV3, Maestro and Imedi. They claim that were arrested unlawfully by Azerbaijani police while filming the brawl between the police and Chikhura fans. They were forced to erase the footage and soon freed, as were the detained Georgian fans. They return to Tbilisi on Friday. In July Chikhura played two matches against Turkish FC Bursaspor. After the last match in Tbilisi there were clashes between the football players and later between Turkish and Georgian journalists. Now, the Georgian football federation vows to ensure a high level security during the next match between Georgian and Azeri football teams on August 7.
