| Etoile Carouge - Benfica Lisbonne - friendly game - 18/07/04Source: La Tribune de Genève + Le Matin SuisseThe portuguese football club Benfica is doing its pre-season stage in Switzerland, under the command of the italian coach, Giovanni Trapattoni. The first game, against the swiss regional championships team, Étoile Carouge, ended before the time with a triumph by 2-0 from Benfica. The reason for the sudden ending were incidents between the portuguese supporters and the security forces. Onde portuguese emigrant entered the pitch wanting to celebrate the fact that the referee was also an emigrant. But the security guards exagerated in their reaction and the portuguese supporters reacted violently, but in apropriate fashion regarding to what was happening in a friendly match that, above all, meant to be a celebration of the portuguese feeling between the emigrants LE MATIN SUISSE---> http://underground.fans.free.fr/carouge-BENFICA045fm.jpg _________________ | |

| 'No escape' for football rioters - 08/07/2004
Source : BBC News
The police say they have now identified most of the people involved in the Boston riot, after England's defeat against France in football's Euro 2004.
CCTV pictures of those suspected of taking part have been published in local newspapers.
Officers say they have had a good response from the public suggesting names and addresses.
The trouble on 13 June saw dozens of people attacking shops and overturning and setting alight two police cars.
'Unacceptable behaviour'
Det Ch Insp Kevin Hilton promised those involved would be brought to justice.
He said: "The evidence is there, it is all on CCTV, from what happened that night.
"The message I would give to people is, if you indulge in this kind of unacceptable behaviour, you may not get arrested on the night.
"But you will be tracked down and I guarantee you will ultimately find yourself in court." _________________

When Arsenal hooligans went home on buses, they were looking after by Orel scaut before X place. After this place Orel mob, without Spartak Moscow -SS lads, who helped their friends in police, went on them.Police tried to stop them, but unfortunatelly for them-they couldn't do it. Orel said guests to come out from buses, but Arsenal didn't do it.So,Orel decided to destroy buses. They crashed all the windows. Some Arsenals were beaten, some of them ran away from the incident.Police drived away the buses with Arsenal to the town.During the fight Orel used arguments.Arsenal used them too and injured one of the hools. No arrests. After these troubles Arsenal attacked different Orel scum... We waited other cars. We all our lads were there, we took the road of the stadium. We were there with 70/80 (all groups and some indeps). No one had weapons, just firecrackers. We were saw by french CRS so we we spotted us in a darkness place but this place is just in front of the local ultras terrace. We saw them: they were not so much as they announced. We took their direction but only a few of their top lads tried to make something. Some punches were exchanges before the police intervention. Scuffles erutped everywhere and bricks and firecrackers were threw. A local threw a bottle in face of one of us. Finally, 7 of us were arrested. _________________

| Atalanta Bergamo - Trieste - Friendly game played in Pordenone - 31/07/04
Source: forums
As previous, many riots occured before the game, outisde the stadium. Twelve policemen and 2 Carabinieri were injured, as 2 Trieste fans.Cars were damaged, a tickets shop was set on fire etc etc... The 70 policemen were totally outnumbered by the 300 Atalanta ultras who made the trip to Pordenone, so these last ones attacked Trieste fans during all day. _________________

| Falkirk - Dundee - 25/07/04
Source: forums - Dundee view
30-35 falkirk come around the corner at us we had 70 boys alot of our mob where a good bit down the rd cause alot tryed to go the other way when we came out the pub untill the shout whent up that they where on the main rd the both mobs flew at each other and it kicked off toe 2 toe falkirk where game but our mob just kept coming and we legged them. and both mobs where guilty of using bottles and falkirk where throwing bricks aswell as bottles. one of our young lads had a pool cue 19 year old and a total pysico thats maybe where the heavy weaponary comes from. thats the best account i can give from my own eyes i could prob go into more detail but would not want to bore you to death. at the end of the day 2 game mobs had it good and proper resulting a few having to vist the hossie [ hope they are ok btw ].respect to falkirk one of there top lads came to our pub expecting to see a bunch of kids and in his own words that is an impresive mob yous have today and they still came at us knowing our numbers. _________________

| Hibernian - Leeds United - friendly game - 31/07/04
Source: forums
Leeds view:
B4 we start, all I can say is Hibs turned out a lot more than many english clubs do normally. Leeds were out in force today, but hibs were up for it,numbers wise anyway. B4 all the 7,000 lads comments start. Leeds were out in force today, train and coaches, hibs will vouch for that , yes ?? Went off b4 and after, nr the train station and top of easter rd about 2.40. afterwards a load of leeds steamed into a load of youth hibs and scattered them, no great result, cos they were proper kids, but mouthy. I was impressed with hibs today, somehow I think it might be mutual !!
Hibs view:
Leeds showed up in masssive numbers (between 200 and 300) Hibs had around 150 but mostly all top lads who would stand together, it went on in spits and spats but nothing too major as the OB presance was the largest I have ever seen in Edinburgh. _________________

| QPR - Crystal Palace - friendly game - 31/07/04
Source: forums - Palace view
After being given the runaround all day by qpr, a mob of around 20 palace had to go to qpr's mob who were situated in a pub near ravenscourt park. as palace walked down the road a roar went up and palace were attacked from the pub by a mob of around 30 qpr with glasses, bottles, snooker cues etc, never seen so much glass fly over peoples heads in my life, palace then charged towards the pub, a few punches thrown from either side, one qpr lad had something that looked like a scaffolding pole(not 100% sure if it was though) and was swinging it about everywhere! qpr then backed off to their boozer and palace seemed to be getting the upper hand once they had used all their ammo this was going on say a couple of mins tops.
Old bill then turnt up and filmed everything still going on around them then a riot van turnt up and charged everyone back, batons used, nickings made & the palace lads split up and fled with qpr now safely tucked away in the pub.
Wouldnt say palace would claim a result but it may have been a much different story if ob didnt turn up as qpr were getting penned back." _________________
