The one where a loon from our stands jumped on the pitch and went for Collymore. Forest brought a proper tidy mob, then when they were let out the OB just let them go and it went fucking mad by the estate out the back for about 10 mins.

Arsenals firm were not in a boozer all day in Leige.... We had a few chaps plus a load of drinkers/barmies in Leige during the day but our firm (about 200 handed) drank in Bussells (where we had spent the night) that day.. We arrived to Leige a couple of hours before the game. Roared out of the station expecting mayhem only to get completely mugged off by the Belgian OB... they blocked all but one road and like sheep we poured down it.. Soon as we got to the end of it they blocked it with riot vans and then cut us off from behind.... We were then informed by the obligatory moustachioed Belgian plain clothes detectives that we would be getting put on coaches to the ground.. It was a proper trap.. No one escaped... At the ground the OB were really heavy handed.. Water canon the lot.. They practically beat us into the away end.. No tickets required.. many of us had aquired tickets for the Leige seats but virtually no one on them busses got to use em.. They just laughed and rammed us through the turnstiles into the away end... About 20 lads that had travelled straight to Leige by car got in their seats.. Whoops! .. after the game these fellas (while the rest of us were locked in the ground) had to come out with Belgian fans.. they ended up having it with a huge mob (of hundreds) and naturally (Not being MIBs) they got a right pasting... Basically they ended up pressed against a fence taking a right pummelling until the OB saved em... A fella that lives out there later got hold of a copy of a Leige "Hooligan" fanzine... In which it said with reference to Arsenals heroic 20 "ARSENAL..THESE GUYS DONT RUN". Thanks for the complement but one doubts they had much choice... Shame the OB were so heavy handed that day we had a great mob out... (as good as the PSG one) but didnt get to do fcuk all with it...

Rangers to ban Celtic supporters - 27/01/1994
Source : The Independent
RANGERS have decided to withhold all ticket allocations to Celtic supporters for the final Old Firm game of the season - at Ibrox on 30 April - because they claim their Glasgow rivals' fans are responsible for more than £20,000-worth of damage in the stadium during matches between the clubs since March 1992, writes David McKinney.
David Murray, the Rangers chairman, indicated that several requests to Celtic for them to admit responsibility and reimburse Rangers for the damage have met with refusal. "We have created a magnificent stadium and it is our view that the public should come to Ibrox to enjoy their football in safe and comfortable surroundings," he said.
"This type of wanton vandalism can no longer be tolerated. Our supporters know the standards that are expected of them: they accept a code of conduct laid down by ourselves, and it is our opinion that Celtic Football Club, or indeed any other clubs whose followers cause damage, must accept responsibility."
Responding for Celtic, Michael Kelly, a club director, countered: "I'm very, very disappointed in this decision, which is not worthy of a club like Rangers. The game will be the poorer for it."
There is no rule in the statutes of the Scottish Football League which prevents a club from banning visiting supporters, although Peter Donald, the SFL secretary, said: "It is acknowledged as part of the excitement of the game that there are two sets of supporters in a ground, and in some way the game is lessened if only one group of fans is allowed access."
Celtic have said they have no plans to respond with a reciprocal ban on Rangers supporters at Celtic Park.
In England, supporters of Leeds United, disgusted by the snub to Sir Matt Busby at Blackburn on Sunday, have started to "shop" the culprits. The Leeds chairman, Leslie Silver, said yesterday that supporters had been phoning the club with names and addresses of those who broke the minute's silence before the game. Information is being processed, and Silver reiterated that those responsible would be banned from home and away matches for life.
Some fans whose pictures have appeared in newspapers have contacted the club claiming they were not taken during the minute's silence. The club's general manager, Alan Roberts, is obtaining signed statements from photographers, indicating the time their shots were taken.

19 Celtic fans held in Liverpool
NINETEEN Celtic fans were arrested last night before the Ian Rush testimonial match at Anfield between Liverpool and Celtic.
Inspector Steven Stansfield of Merseyside Police said 17 fans had been arrested for being drunk and disorderly but had been released about 10pm in time to catch their buses north.
Two fans had been detained on theft charges.
Mr Stansfield said three public houses near the ground had been closed after the licencees expressed concern about the large numbers of fans using the premises.
He said 7500 Celtic supporters had travelled south for the game in a convoy of about 200 buses. The match was arranged to pay homage to the 33-year-old Welsh striker.
The number of arrests was few given the crowd of almost 26,000. ''Generally speaking, the fans behaved very well,'' he said.

Cardiff City - Swansea - 23/12/1993
Source : Press
On 23 December 1993 the game between the two sides was dubbed 'The Battle Of Ninian Park' as Swansea fans were placed in the grandstand for the game. As Cardiff went up 1–0, fans invaded the pitch, before Swansea fans began to tear out seats from the grandstand and use them as missiles. The following day national news showing pictures of the violence shocked the nation, forcing the FAW to ban away fans from this fixture for several years, the first fixture in Britain to do so.

Double pitch invasion at New Den delays Derby victory
MILLWALL supporters disgraced themselves again last night and cast another shadow over the reputation of the South London club, who are certain to face sanctions from the Football Association. Two pitch invasions, during which Derby County players were kicked and barged to the ground, brought separate interruptions totalling 33 minutes to the First Division play-off semi-final at The New Den. Later, fans overturned vehicles and caused damage in the car park. Police made 20 arrests, while during the game, 30 fans were ejected. Two police officers were injured.
The Derby striker, Marco Gabbiadini, said: 'We feel we have been through a war, not a football match.' Their goalkeeper, Martin Taylor, who was floored by a fan, described it as the 'most intimidating atmosphere I have known. I was punched in the ribs but luckily I got to my feet quickly enough to reach the tunnel.'
With Derby two ahead from the first game, another goal for the visitors was always likely to be the spark that ignited the flames. When they had doubled their advantage by the 23rd minute, hundreds of home fans in the East Stand began to congregate at the front of their section, challenging police and spoiling for a fight.
As the blue line struggled to hold them at bay, a handful of supporters from the opposite stand came on to the pitch and the referee, Brian Hill, was forced to signal the first stoppage and lead the players off. It lasted 20 minutes while police reinforcements, some on horseback, ushered people back to their seats and restored order.
After 74 minutes, and with Millwall attempting to retrieve a 5-1 deficit overall, some of the thugs returned and this time they got at the Derby players. Apart from Taylor, Gordon Cowans and Paul Williams were punched and kicked. The second delay lasted 13 minutes and the game continued with no more disruption. Sensibly, Derby had taken the precaution near the end of withdrawing their black players, Williams and Gary Charles, who throughout had been subjected to racist abuse.
For the record, Gabbiadini and Tommy Johnson shot Derby ahead and a Pat Van Den Hauwe own- goal made it three at half-time. Greg Berry grabbed Millwall's solitary reply in the second half.
The Millwall chairman, Reg Burr, said there would be a 'thorough investigation' into the disturbances. He added: 'Of course I feel saddened but there was no violence that I saw. I don't know anything about players being punched and kicked. The FA representative was here and saw it all and what the FA decide to do they will do.'

The night before the match when the Cardiff mob went to your pub and basically went through the windows to get to you and you got saved by the Belgian Robo cops who chased our lot down the road into another pub where they knicked everyone, I managed to get away because i could speak a little French and had a flight ticket from Denmark. We lost a lot of lads that night who got deported, the next day (match day) with more of the lads pouring into Liege we had another pop at you by the station and you shit it again.
