More than 100 people were hurt and 13 were taken to a hospital today when Tottenham Hotspur, the English F.A. Cup winner, paraded its trophy from an open-top bus before a half million fans lining the streets around its White Hart Lane Ground in North London. Hospital spokesmen said the injuries were not serious. Tottenham won the Cup Thursday when it defeated Manchester City, 3-2, at Wembley Stadium in the replay of the game tied, 1-1, on May 9.

Villa brought down a few more than spurs or OB thought. Started putting us in thier section of Park Lane but didnt bother movin us back and as soon as we came in the gate it was all off. Cudnt believe the OB did that but it was a good couple of mins and we did have of game lads. I rember some fat spurs bloke got put on his back by one the better known black c-crew faces Had a good battle with spurs lot previous year in Park Lane between the Olive branch & milford tavern where were trapped between the 2 pubs.

Rival gangs batled through the streets of Moss Side after the game.
Several shops were attacked and in one instance fighting fans spilled into a sweet shop terryfying the staff.

"More than twenty Liverpool fans suddendly rushed into the shop. They wrecked the place when they played City in October and we thought we were in for the same treatment," said the owner'37-year-old daughter.
"But this time they were on the run from City fans. They said that if we didn't let them stay under cover inthe shop they would take it apart. They were all men, not youngsters, but I still grabbed one round the neck," added the woman. "He was really scared and said he was just looking for somewhere to hide.

"But then a massive gang of City supporters gathered outside. There were fights going on in the road and in the shop doorway and the Liverpool fans were grabbing bottles and throwing them outside. They said some City fans were armed with knives." The only reports of knives being used, however, was the slashing of a 16-year-old City fan in the City centre.

Rival Manchester City and Everton soccer fans fought in the streets of Liverpool this afternoon.

There were ugly scenes at Lime Street station when the first train load of about 100 City supporters arrived for the FA cup quarter-final tie.
As they were leaving the station, they were charged by a mob of thugs and skirmishes broke out.
Platform luggage trolleys were used as battering rams.
It is believed that the attackers were Everton and Liverpool FC fans who had joined forces to do battle against the rivals from Manchester.

One officer at the scene said, "It's always the same when any Manchester fans ome to Liverpool. The Liverpool and Everton supporters team up and go looking for trouble."

Kicked off on the Ealing with 30 Brentford skins(most in Red Harrington jackets) against 100 addlestone/chelsea headcases. lasted for 10 minutes as OB couldnt control it and most of the crowd missed Brentford scoring a penalty as the entertainment on the Ealing was gripping!!!!!
