Shirtless ‘Millwall footie thugs’ mimic Russian hooligans with organised mass brawl… before shaking hands with bloodied opponents - 10/09/2018
Source : The Sun
BIZARRE footage shows two rival groups of footie thugs battering each other in a mass brawl before shaking hands like nothing had happened.
The warring sides met in a muddy field surrounded by a graffiti-covered wall before kicking, punching and grappling their opponents in a violent free-for-all.
It's unclear where they were fighting but their accents suggest the 18-strong scrap was held in a wooded area somewhere in London.
The video conjured memories of Russian "hooligan factories" where thugs train for battles with football fans from other countries.
Footage from Vladimir Putin's nation showed these yobs kicking lumps out of each other in the snow to prepare for the World Cup.
What was most surprising about the bare-fisted brawl in the UK was the level of organisation, with the men allowing their opponents to get up before attacking again.
One man dressed in red was not fighting at all. Instead, he appeared to be refereeing the fight and making sure the thugs observed to the rules of combat.
"Leave him, leave him, he's had enough," he tells one of the brawlers who was kicking his opponent as he lay defenceless on the ground.
At the end of the three-minute melee, the bloodied and muddied men all shook hands and parted ways peacefully.
It is unclear what they were fighting about and which rules they were observing but Russian hooligans are known to fight in similar settings to prepare for major tournaments.
Bizarre last man standing "auditions" were used to pick the "best of the best" ahead of this summer's tournament, Sun Online reported in March.
The unwritten rules are few: no weapons, stop when commanded by a referee and stamping on heads is strictly frowned upon.
Potential recruits are invited to trial bouts, starting with seven-on-seven affairs, and then graduating to 15 a side, or 20. Elite fights can involve 80-on-80 brawls.

Football fans clash with church members over stadium land dispute in Peru
At least one person was wounded and several were arrested after football fans clashed with members of an evangelical church in a dispute over who owns a sprawling plaza in front of the main entry to a stadium in Peru.
The club, Alianza Lima, and the religious group El Aposento Alto both claim to own a swath of land next to the Alejandro Villanueva stadium in Lima, where the club has set up installations used for storage and parking.
Early on Monday, hundreds of members of the religious group El Aposento Alto entered the buildings and painted over the club's emblems to set up a church, TV images showed.
The footage shows Alianza Lima supporters giving chase and using sticks to hit members of the religious group, who wore matching shirts and construction hats and shouted "Christ lives!"
Gaston Rodriguez, a Lima police chief, told media gathered outside the stadium that at least one person was wounded and several were arrested.
The attorney for El Aposento Alto, Alberto Santana, told local broadcaster RPP that the religious group had documents showing it had legally purchased the property.
Alianza Lima disputed that, calling it an illegal "invasion" in a statement and warning fans to remain calm. Images of fans repainting the walls were later posted on the club's official Twitter account.
The club is one of the oldest and and most successful in Peruvian football, winning 23 national league titles since it was founded in 1901.

Portugal: Five football fans arrested for violence, including police officer - 06/09/2018
Source : http://theportugalnews.com/
Portugal’s public security police (PSP) on Wednesday arrested five men belonging to a Boavista football fan club, including a police officer, for crimes related to physical assault in the Azores islands.
The arrested men, aged between 31 and 43, belonging to the “Black Panthers” fan club, had travelled to the Azores a few days before a game between local side Santa Clara and Boavista football club on Saturday, according to a statement from the PSP.
The suspects “provoked disputes and violent physical assaults on five restaurant employees”, the PSP said, as well as causing material damage in the establishment.
According to the PSP, on Monday it was not possible to locate and arrest the five suspects. Four of them were prevented from leaving Ponta Delgada airport and another was prevented from leaving the Terceira island airport.
Santa Clara won Saturday's match against Boavista 4-2.

Marseille ordered by UEFA to play Europa League game behind closed doors - 10/09/2018
Source : https://www.afp.com/
Marseille are no longer at risk of being kicked out of European competition but will have to play their next Europa League game behind closed doors, UEFA said on Monday.
The French giants had appealed to European football's governing body against a threatened ban from competing in continental competition that was handed down in July.
The ban, suspended for two years, was related to numerous crowd incidents in last season's Europa League in games against RB Leipzig and Salzburg as well as in the final against Atletico Madrid in Lyon.
But instead of that they will now have to play their first home game of this season's Europa League group stage, against Eintracht Frankfurt on September 20, in an empty Stade Velodrome.
The threat of having to play a second home game behind closed doors will hang over them for a two-year probationary period, although Marseille will also have to shut the stands at both ends of their ground for their other two Europa League group games, against Lazio and Apollon Limassol of Cyprus.
Marseille, who lost last season's final 3-0 to Atletico, were sanctioned for crowd disturbances, acts of damage, setting off of fireworks and the throwing of objects in last season's European campaign, said UEFA.
In addition to the stadium ban, a fine of 100,000 euros ($116,041) has been maintained, and Marseille have also been ordered to foot the bill for damage caused by their supporters at Lyon's stadium during the final.

The shameful fight between two Valencia ultras and Alcoyano supporters
Supporters of Alcoyano and Valencia got into a fight during the friendly match at the Estadio El Collao this Wednesday. Embarrassing images clearly show that even the presence of the police and private security guards contracted for the match wasn't enough to stop the rivals from punching each other.Several people were involved in the shameful incident which diverted everyone's attention from the action on the field of play.
* It seems no Valencia fans were involved but some Ultras Sur members

England : Eight Pompey hooligans jailed for Guildhall Square violence before Plymouth game - 13/09/2018
Source : https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/
POMPEY football thugs who terrorised Portsmouth city centre ahead of a Plymouth game were shown no mercy by a judge who threw eight hooligans behind bars for a total of nearly 10 years.
The gang of 16 defendants, who appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court throughout the week, were clinging to the hope they may be spared jail for their violent disorder before the League Two clash in April last year.
But those hopes were crushed for half of them as one by one they were sent down. Despite lengthy running battles against police in Guildhall Square and clashes with Plymouth fans, including where one was repeatedly booted like a football, things could have been far worse. Sentencing the group, Judge Timothy Mousley said: ‘It is a matter of luck there were no serious injuries especially to the man on the floor getting kicked.’ Robbie Fowler, 22, of April Square, Landport, was handed the longest jail term out of the hooligans after he was given two years behind bars and a six year football banning order. Judge Mousley told Fowler, who was serving a four year banning order at the time, he was the ‘most prominent among the group’ with him seen ‘limbering up’ to fight. Chief among his offences in amongst the constant violent disorder were him kicking out at a police dog and trying to get a policeman to fight him. Matthew Allinson, 33, of Frogmore Lane, Waterlooville was given 18 months jail and a six year football banning order.
Richard Hampshire, 26, of Tudor Crescent, was given 14 months custody and a six year football banning order. Ryan Keating, 19, of Oxenwood Green, Havant, was given 13 months in a young offenders institute and a six year football banning order. Anthony Hopkins, 22, of Langley Road, Buckland, was given 12 months prison and a six year football banning order. Tommy Russell, 20, of Appleshaw Green, Havant, received 12 months at a young offenders institute and a six year banning order.
RHarley Hawkins, 19, of Whitecliffe Avenue, Copnor, was handed the same sentence. Sean Mitchell, 46, of Chaucer Drive, Chichester, was handed 14 months prison and a six year football banning order. Simon Hore, 33, of Medina Road, Cosham, was given 13 months prison suspended for 18 months, 250 hours unpaid work, compensation of £250 to Pompey and a four year football banning order. Louis Glasspool received the same sentence but was given 10 months at a young offenders institute suspended for 18 months. Harry Jarvie, 21, of Manor Road, Buckland also received the same but was given 12 months jail suspended for 18 months.
Connor Bowen, 19, of Lower Farlington Road, Farlington, was handed eight months in a detention centre suspended for 18 months, was given 250 hours unpaid work, 20 rehabilitation days, told to pay Pompey £250 and given a four year football banning order. Tommy Houlden, 19, of Hayling Avenue, Copnor, was given the same as Bowen but was given 15 months at a detention centre suspended for 18 months and 15 rehabilitation days. Asa Palmer, 23, of Sea View Road, Drayton, got nine months jail suspended for 18 months, 250 hours unpaid work, 20 rehabilitation days, told to pay compensation of £250 and a four year football banning order. Jack Stobart, 23, of April Square, Landport, was given 12 months jail suspended for 18 months, 250 hours unpaid work, a four year football banning order and told to pay Pompey £250. Shane Bartram, 26, of Goodwood Road, Southsea, got 12 months prison suspended for 18 months, as well as 250 hours unpaid work, told to pay £250 compensation and a four year banning order.

Serbia : Brawl between football fans turns fatal - 15/09/2018
Source : http://rs.n1info.com/
Police arrested 19 people who were involved in a fight between football fans which resulted in the death of a 30-year-old man near the northeastern town of Bijeljina last night.
Police in Bijeljina said they are trying to clarify what happened, that the suspects are being questioned and that they are putting together a murder case.
Police earlier confirmed that the man with the initials A.P. from Bijeljina was killed in the brawl, while another man, a 33-year-old with the initials B.K., was injured and sent to the local hospital.
A.P. died as while he was being transported to Belgrade.
The fight took place an hour after midnight on the parking lot of the ‘Sveti Stefan’ hotel in Dvorovi, just north of Bijeljina. The fight was planned and earlier agreed on between local supporters of two Serbian football clubs, Crvena Zvezda and Partizan.
Local media reported that those involved used metal and wooden batons, and that the conflict erupted over a graffiti supporting one of the clubs.
RIP

The night before the game which opposed Lillestrom to Valerenga, about twenty Valenrega hooligans have assaulted a pub in Oslo, the Paddy's one, where some Rosenborg rivals were inside. Damages were caused.
